The best hairdresser for a extensions. This was a great hair experience. Teri is awesome.

I wanted to give this place five stars, before I even met with Teri, the owner. I recently went through a terrible breakup and had short hair, that I had dyed back closer to my natural color. Teri was the first person that I had called to talk about extensions. She took the time on the phone, without making me come in to explain the process and how it works. She was out of town and I couldn't get in for a consultation with her for a few days, but she wanted to set one for me just in case I didn't find someone. In the meantime, I called and had consultations with numerous people regarding my extensions. After not being satisfied with a combination of the price and who I found, I called back and talked to Teri. She again, talked to me for a long time, confirmed my appointment and never made me feel dumb for my questions. When I went in, she looked at my hair and gave me a fair price. She didn't upcharge me for the cost of the hair or the beads, she just told me what the price was (which I did verify). She got me in as soon as she could to put them in. I spoke with a lot of people between here and Temecula who charged two to three times more than she did. Teri is very kind, caring, compassionate and fair. She charged the most affordable price for the installation of my extensions that I found. She was very knowledgeable about what she was doing and always took the time to answer questions. She is so nice, so sweet and so kind. Not only did she talk me through the extension process several times, she talked to me personally about what was going on in my life. I cannot say enough things about Teri and my experience is here. You get excellent quality at an excellent price. You would be crazy not to come in and talk with her about your hair or makeup. I absolutely love this place. First off, the clothing boutique is exceptional!! Great prices and they sell some of the cutest clothes. Secondly, I love Hayley. She has been doing my hair for months now and I've never loved my hair so much. She does absolutely amazing color and even better highlites!! She actually knows what the saying, "I just want a trim because I'm trying to grow out my hair," means!! I went there 2 days ago to get highlights and a toner put on. Basically I paid $130 to get orange, broken hair. The lady didn't have time to finish could cause her next appt came in so she had me put on gloves to finish putting the color on my self. She also asked me to to help put color on her client cause her assistant was out of town. To make things weirder, she kept going on and on about her too late she found on Craigslist that was sacrificing animals in her house!! I just wanted out of there. I'm a polite person and think I may have been too nice. I paid and left. I shouldn't have, I should have just left. I now have to go somewhere and pay more money to get my damaged hair fixed. I was really nervous about getting my eyebrows, and eyeliner done because I have seen and heard horror stories about them being ruined with permanent make up! I also like to go au natural, and not have to pack on the makeup regularly. I am so happy that I went to see Teri because I no longer have to apply eye liner every morning on my way to work and I never have to worry about black smudging after a swim! It's so nice! I took a chance yesterday and went to XtremeBeauty (since my 1st and 2nd choices were fully booked due to the holiday) I should have paid attention to the reviews about Terry and the way she treats new customers and her attitude. This is my personal experience...let me start off with my initial contact, I called multiple times, my calls went to a cell's VM. When the woman finally called me back after almost 3hrs. (she didn't even formally or professionally introduce herself, she has calls go to her cell phone, so she told me she thought it was a personal call, which is why she answered the way she did, then said she was the owner and her name was Terry, regardless whether business or personal, if you link your cell to business # be kind and politeness when you answer or call back, this was 1st RED FLAG!) But had no choice I needed to get my hair done. SO, I proceeded to meet her at her salon. When I met her, she seemed unfriendly, and upset, like she didn't want to be there or working at all for that matter. She didn't make me feel as she truly cared about making me long-term client. I figured maybe this is just her personality. I told her I wanted a cut & re-touch on my highlights, I emphasized I only wanted a trim (she ended up cutting off close to 4inches! 2nd RED FLAG!!!, I should have just paid and left right then and there...) I really didn't expect what happened next, as I gathered my composure from expressing how she ruined my cut. Then came the results of the re-touch. After almost 2hrs of her doing the color (which again, I only needed my roots done) She COMPLETELY ruined my hair! I cried when I saw the results. My perfect highlights are now chunks of brassy orange and yellow!!!! So NOT only did she do a horrible job cutting my hair, but now the color/highlights are a disaster and under processed. I don't know what products she used, but I remember telling her it was hurting me when she was working the sides and bottoms of my hairline. She carried on anyway. At that point when she saw how upset I was she could have tried some professionalism or customer service and offered to fix my hair. But her response was "I NEVER KNOW HOW HAIR WILL TURN OUT WITH CERTAIN PRODUCTS/CHEMICALS, I JUST HAVE TO TRY" Terry said...I was shocked! what does that even mean? Aren't you a professional I said? How do you not know how chemicals will have a result on hair? At that point I didn't even want her to style or finish blow drying it. --- I asked what I owed her (which I felt like I shouldn't have had to pay for her experiment! And she didn't even offer a price reduction for her mistake, talk about customer service!) So, I paid and left. Later that night I could barely believe my eyes when I looked in the mirror, my hair is ruined, and it's not like I have time to fix it with tomorrow being Thanksgiving. Needless to say, ladies, I would NEVER wish this hair horror upon anyone, our hair is precious and should be well taken care of by a professional, at least for me it is. Not only did TERRY not provide professional and safe results, but she was very rude and absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm tempted to call the cosmetology board; and/or health department on Terry and her salon. My advice is DO NOT GO TO TERRY OR XTREMEBEAUTY!!!!! read more

I've watched so many customers come to her for permanent makeup application and they always looked amazing. Enough to convince me to get my own eyebrows done. Terry Cherry did permanent full eyeliner and eyebrows. I met Terry several months before doing this and felt very confident in her skills, both from her reputation and from the details she gave me about how the work would be done. She was so patient, if the numbing wasn't enough, she simply applied more and waited until I was comfortable. My eyes watered and she simply used a tissue to dry them. She spent a great amount of time prior to selecting a color and shape to make sure I was happy, looking at each angle and various lighting to verify all was perfect. Indeed I am extremely happy with never having to deal with my eyebrows or eyeliner again! It's been since March 2014 and I have not had a day go by that I haven't been thrilled that Terry applied my permanent make up. Some day I will be brave enough to do my lips! You ROCK Terry. Got my wax on with Chrissy.....so happy to have found her and this place! Silly thing to love, but I love their antiqued black decor....I felt really comfortable and at ease in their quaint place, prices were more than fair and the people are fabulous. I talked to both Teri & Erin before ultimately having my first appointment with Chrissy and they have all been outstanding - and ethical I might add....they are considerate of each other and take pride in their professionalism and reputation. I would highly recommend them! If you have been on the fence, maybe feeling guilty about spending some money on making yourself feel good, this is a good place to get over that hestitation. Long overdue review! I have been getting my eyebrows done by Teri for about 2 and a half years. I travel from San Diego because she is amazing! She has tattooed my eyebrows and done microbladding on them. They look great, very natural and I get tons of compliments. She has many, many years of experience. I was not happy with this place. I called to make an appointment and the phone number goes straight to the owners cell number or something. I think when they answer a call they should at least first introduce themselves and the say the salon's name. I talk to Teri and ask to make an appointment and she gives me another number to call to make an appointment. I don't know why she just couldn't take the appointment for me. So the number I call, it's just another stylist and she doesn't answer and she calls me back and I miss her call. I call her back and never get a call back that night or next morning. I have to call early in the morning and find out she can't even take my appointment. she doesn't even try to offer another day that works. Then I call the owner Teri and she doesn't answer and never calls me back either. So I never got any calls back. I am all about customer service and bringing new customers in and this is what I look for when I want to try somewhere new. Customer Service! Learn it people. read more

I had always wanted permanent makeup done for my eyebrows but was afraid of having them look overdone or unnatural looking. Teri had done permanent makeup for two of my friends and I was amazed at how beautiful and tasteful the makeup looked. Teri was professional and very kind. She drew the eyebrows on and color matched them to my hair taking time to matching the color perfect and drawing the brows on for my approval. I was amazed as to how little pain was involved and how much time she took to make sure the work was perfect. I even went ahead and had my eyeliner done also since the process was such a positive experience. My sister-in-law and another friend now have brows and eyeliner by Teri.
