Appointment started out kind of chaotically but ended well--I booked online an appointment right as they open at 9AM on a Saturday, got a confirmation text and everything. When I got to the salon at 9AM, they apologized and told me that the online system was messed up and that they discourage use of it for their clients. However, they asked if I was okay with being seen at 10AM, and because I had a free day I said yes then spent the hour at a coffee shop nearby. Pretty lovely! Mr. Chris was called in on his day away from the salon to do my hair, which I appreciated. He washed and cut my hair while educating me about what I could do daily to build volume (I have super fine hair). The cut was pretty and I felt satisfied. Will come again read more

I never leave reviews but if I can save one person's hair it's worth it. I had the worst haircut of my life at this place. Chris will tell you that he knows how to cut wavy/curly hair, but he does not. He messed up on my hair and tried to hide it by cutting more and more. He was moving at lightning speed and ended up giving me the most haphazard horrible short cut when all I wanted was 2 inches off. I immediately told him it was too short. His response? "Well... it's still a good cut." It was not. I had to have an emergency correctional cut from another stylist. She could not believe the state he'd left my hair in. We're talking uneven, crooked, top layers longer than bottom layers, all the weight and heaviness just sitting at the bottom. She was appalled and so was I. Such a great experience today. I walked into the salon just to check it out as I needed a style and color. I didn't think I would actually get an appointment but luckily someone cancelled. Christopher, the owner listened to what I wanted, gave me suggestions, and took me right in. Magic, is all I can say. Well also friendly. He colored my roots, full highlights, cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted it. I am so happy that I walked in there today, I made my next two appointments. Had an appointment with Kelly Pham. It was for a color and cut. When I spoke to her on the phone Kelly was accommodating and said she would wear a mask during our appointment. She kept her word and wore a mask. ( just wished others in the salon, stylists and customers did the same) But I had one on the entire time. Wow! Last year I moved from Los Angeles to Temecula and have had a hard time finding a good stylist. After getting the worst hair cut I've ever had, I realized I needed to do my homework. Fortunately I found Chris. His ability to immediately identify the the right style and hair color for my face shape and skin color allowed me relax and trust that I was in good hands. He turned my too-short/uneven hair style into a new style I can tolerate until my hair grows back out. Chris is an actual artist. I wasn't going to leave a review as I have gotten my hair done about a month ago but just in case someone is looking for a balayage review. I had gotten a cut first and was quoted for a balayage for the following week. Initially, my hair cut was great cause I got a trim and some layers. I really loved my hair cut so I decided to book with Kelly for a balayage. Day of the balayage appointment (1:45pm), I told Kelly I wanted ash brown balayage. She started to bleach my whole head. Then she rinsed my hair after the first bleach and then she said she had to bleach my hair again with all my roots. Then she rinsed my hair again. She put toner in my hair and washed my hair again. She dried my hair and she said we needed to tone it one more time cause it's not what she likes. I can see she was panicking when she got quiet and was trying to fix her mistake. By now I was tired, irritated and frustrated. It was not a balayage, she just highlighted ALL of my hair. I told her it's fine, paid and tipped (even though I shouldn't have). I left the shop around 10:15pm (8.5 hours) and without a balayage. But I did have bright yellow and orange highlights. I honestly loved my hair cut before this whole highlight fiasco but after a horrible highlighting experience I'm gonna have to pass for future cuts and highlights. It's like an expensive Super Cut style but salon prices. While Kelly is very nice she has absolutely no experience in what a balayage is. It has been about a month ago and my hair is pretty much damaged. Now I'm just waiting for another two weeks to get it fixed (by someone else). I suggest going somewhere else for a balayage because you're not gonna get that here. read more

I moved from SD to Temecula last year. It has been a struggle getting to my stylist which I absolutely love. I found Chris and Kellys reviews and thought I'd give them a try. Kelly said I could come in the same day I called. I was impressed! Then when I arrived, I noticed she had two other customers she was working with. Ok I needed a root touch up, that's all. She mixed the color and applied to my hair. It was an hour and 15 minutes before she got back with me to rinse. One customer left another one came in. I was a bit worried about the color processing too long. She said it's fine. She also talked me into a hair cut. She said she has plenty of time, I thought ok, I could use one. She took a very long time drying my hair and used four different hair products. In the end my hair looked very nice after 3 hours. three days later m... I shampooed and my hair felt very dry and damaged. Mostly the top layers I usually don't use products or curl or dry my hair. The touch up color mostly washed out. I see the gray again. I called and spoke with Chris. I let him know my concerns. Im easy going and usually don't complain about anything. Chris said they would take care of it. I tried to explain the dryness and he was very defensive and said maybe it's the shampoo I'm using. I've been using salon products for many years with no problems ever. He didn't want to hear it. Chris said to come in and they will fix the root touch up and consult me with what to do next. I'm not going to bash their name because I see they do good work and I believe Kelly was being nice and over booked that day. Chris had to step in and help her with another client before I left. My haircut wasn't bad, but the service was. Kelly the wife,cut my hair. As she was talking to her husband, her voice was loud (they have this Vietnamese accent) As she cut my hair, her arms or elbow keeps hitting on my breast and I don't have a big breast. Doesn't she notice that? The blow drying could be more gentle. At the end of my haircut, She gave me an advice on my hair but as I combed my hair, she reminded me about her advice in an annoyed voice " I told you to......." She started servicing another client as I was still there checking on my cut and their products. I kept giving this place another chance. Any time I'm in desperate need of a haircut I give this place another try and now convinced this place isn't for me. I got my cut from the owner Chris. It was such a bad experience. To start, he kept answering the phone in the middle of hair washing. He didn't rinse my hair well and I had to go back to the shampoo area to get all the soap off my hair. This guy wouldn't shut up.. he went on and on bragging about how excellent he is, and does his job well blah blah blah .. I showed him what I wanted which is long layer cut and I know not many hairdressers know how to do it well. He missed the mark totally... it's choppy and when I mentioned it and asked him to adjust he got so defensive and said I should have said I wanted a "seamless " layer! lol wtf!! At this point he was getting pretty rude! He was so bent out of shape about having to adjust it and said that I was telling him how to cut hair. This guy is overly confident for no reason, I wanted to go off on him but there was a lady sitting in the waiting room so I held back. Oh and he kept commenting my hair is too healthy and silky ( I don't color my hair) he suggested that I color my hair even with the same color as my natural hair- sounds stupid to me as I have no grey and don't have the need to do that. Kept saying my hair is too healthy and silky as a negative thing. Basically to justify his bad haircut! What a fantastic salon! I had an appointment with Chris at 2pm today for a balayage and the service was amazing to say the least. I was very hesitant to try a new hair stylist because I'm very picky with my hair, but Chris really took his time and put excellent effort into transforming my hair. My balayage took about 5 hours! That's about an hour more than I'm used to, but everything was done beautifully and all the colors melted into a perfect symphony with each other. Everything was done correctly so my hair did not become brittle or broken. After the process, my hair looked very healthy and voluminous! The price was also fantastic and affordable compared to other salons. Chris and Kelly took very good care of me and even gave me some berries and water for the long hair journey! So it's been a week and I can officially say that this was the best hair cut of my life. Even my husband has been commenting on how good my hair looks. I'm a wash and go kind of lady, very low maintenance. So far, I've washed and gone. I've slept on wet hair. And I've styled my hair. When I've washed and let my hair air dry and even slept on wet hair, my hair has looked GOOD! And then when I style my hair, it looks extra nice. He cooked my hair! Went in for a color to match my hairpiece, he did the color and then put me under the dryer . Another client walked in for a haircut and he started cutting her hair and chatting, and after a long while, he looked up and noticed me still under the dryer and immediately came over and took me to the washing station. He put several products on it after washing, one being a " complimentary" glossing treatment that he said he normally charges thirty dollars for. My hair did look great with the color and glossing treatment. When it came to pay, the total for the color alone came to $175.00 and he was practically begging me to buy the glossing product for home use, but it was too expensive and I declined. May be me reading too much into it, but he seemed a bit nervouse trying to figure out the charges. My sister had been a walk-in a few weeks before and he did a fabulous job on her hair but we noticed then that he left the client he was working on first sitting in the chair for a long time to do my sister. Hmmmm.... All was fine until I washed my hair the first time and removed the glossing product, and realized my hair was like straw and has been ever since no matter how often I deep condition or what products I use.
