My friend referred me to Dawn at Accent permanent makeup, and I called her to discuss something that I was interested in. She answered the phone even though she was with a client she still answered and told me she was with a client, but she asked if I could text her the details. I went ahead and texted her and she responded once she was done with her client in a timely manner. She was very thorough about the procedure I was asking for and first impression was super sweet and professional woman. I've seen her work and the quality is amazing! Another thing I want to point out is the person that is taking over her business soon also texted me maybe a week later and just asked if there was anything she could help me with. She educated me on each step, was honest with what would flatter my almond shaped eyes the most, was clear on how to care for my new eyeliner and what clear expectations were. I went to Dawn to fix previous eyebrow tattoos. She did a great job of reshaping and even using a lighter tattoo to cover over the old tattoo. I've had both brows and eyeliner done with really good results. She stands behind her work, and if for some reason, it doesn't look as you thought it would she works to bring the results you are looking for. Dawn is awesome! I totally trust her with my face. She gave me my eyebrows back that age took from me. She also added smudgy eyeliner to my upper lids and a thin eyeliner on the bottom lid. All I need is mascara and a bit of lipstick, but I think I will get my lips done too. Going out of the house without putting mascara or lipstick on is totally a thing for me now. while i am sure she has the skills and tech to do a good job. i'm afraid she's forgotten what's appropriate conversation in a business... owner or not? when i got the message the morning of my appt. which i had scheduled 3 months prior + 5 years! only because i thought i may have caught her on an off' day? The ink cup spilled the mixture, i think maybe something went wrong from there..but when the girl called to confirm the appointment that morning saying" are you coming in or can we go home" on my machine! what? i had confirmed! SO after waiting 5 years 3 months! Letting the ink from the 'hiked up eyebrow fade, using wax pencil and powder for 5 years prior since there was a problem w the original job, thinking it was somehow my fault. But this time it was "can we expect you or can we go home, do you mind if i eat my sandwich (during my appt. time) after which she described the DRUNK lady before me having lost her brother-dead who they called and persuaded to come in anyway shows up with drinks for all after which she apparently spilled all over the place.Didn't expect to hear that or the political talk. When the attention came back to the job i scheduled to pay $ for she asked why would you wait so long. I told her it was to let it FADE TO A POINT where she could start w/ a clean palate! Asked for the eyebrow to be CORRECTED. she said " i can't change your personality? wtf? instead she suggested that i get whole face Botox..described the conversation in detail of how i should do that instead of her correcting the permanent surprised look over my eye! So instead of using the formula of Taupe that she had in my file she winged it? when i returned for the touch up she takes the picture'n says " why does it LOOK SO DARK, then she and the assistant say oh but it'll fade? but just moments earlier she tried to convince me that the natural hair still growing as eyebrows was the reason for my 'misunderstanding the color.SO which is it my natural hair making it LOOK SO dark or the color she used? i was sure she could do it. but this time it's do you mind if i eat? are you going to show up which took all the slack out of my travel time, made me wait until traffic @ a peak, get w/ your Dr. to refer you to another Dr. TO oh this is the best, i want to use this pic on my add it's so good. BUT can you hike up the other eyebrow for this picture, hold your other eyebrow down? why does it look so dark, do you mind if i eat do you mind if i check this message from my sister she's in the hospital w/ brain cancer. NOT THAT I didn't have people in the hospital or any reason to expect the appt. to be about the job. and i did not need to hear her personal drama i have my own, i showed up for the appt. planning on leaving all the drama out of it. NOT to wait another 5+ years for this to fade to do it over again! when it was obvious that the color was too dark I said there's always wax pencil, she said oh but you just paid for your eyebrows you don't want to have to do that? i hope she realized that's what i had to do the whole time, she added to the best eyebrow and which it didn't need. if anyone can have that bereft lady contact me i have sympathy for her and how many others have heard , you don't know trust me they need to be bigger but natural eyebrows and over done or cockeyed doesn't do anyone any favors trust went out the windo w/ ethics and manners persons privacy in their grief. not for me to hear feel for not the brain cancer that should have been left at home or stay home. Get a whole face Botox which is a temp fix when she could have just fixed it? made me wait for my appt. telling the lady in the chair just befor me the same things oh you don't know what your saying it's going to be much better bigger at least her assistant knows how to say no if i want more there's always pencil. Dawn asked repeatedly repeatedly and can't i just add..... i told her i had waited so long so that the eyebrow could be properly placed like it says in her add? so which is it.I had to prove to them during the time past my appt that i replied .. everything else. very very disappointed. i'm almost 60 can't work $ isn't easy to come by and that drive gets harder as the day goes on which is why i scheduled it at the time i did! so wtfd.. right? wand while i have sympathy for diabetics i don't want to listen to all that while i'm waiting to pay handing the # to someone who blew all the extra travel time threatening to just go home or should we expect you? while the other lady gets coursed into coming?then to wait for the assistant to finish a long phone call to another diabetic while at work which is my guess she didn't want to be!
