We rent two units here for tools equipment and building materials, both units were very clean when we moved in and the damage deposit is very reasonable Storage units are not climate controlled, so be careful storing anything that is damaged if frozen. If you need climate control check in with the airport self storage but their prices will reflect the upgrade. The asphalt driveway and the paint etc. are not always maintained at 100%, right now it is definitely due to be repaved. But is it is certainly serviceable and The asthetics do not bother me at all, Management is very friendly, and easy to work with. biggest step up over the competition that I have worked with.

I just moved my mother out of her storage unit, he wouldn't except me signing my mother Signature to move her out and she has Parkinson's disease and can hardly sign her name anymore and lives way out in Sparks Nevada so I gotta bring the paperwork all the way to Sparks have her sign her name and then get it to him. Fast forward a few weeks, move to Reno is complete, and I had just spent the week at the lake and did not want to put my boat back at the horrible storage facility I was using, so I decided to drop in and see if they maybe had something. The service that was provided by Homero was amazing and although the space is still to big for me, I rented it on the spot. Clean, secure and exactly what I wanted for my wakeboat. You could tell, based on how Homero helped me, that they truly care about their business and their customers. If you have a boat or an RV you care about, this is the place to rent from.

Our boat sustained extensive damage by The Boatmaster…read more September 2019-June 2020: We hired Roe Danse, The BoatMaster, to pickup our boat, store it for eight months in an indoor facility in Susanville, CA, and re-deliver boat, all for $2295. (He appears to scan the neighborhood and leaves his business card if he sees that you have a boat.) The contract says Roe is not responsible for damage but the damage to our boat upon return was excessive and ABUSE. The rear 2" nylon hold down strap was ripped into two pieces; the lower portion of the cast aluminum outdrive was completely broken off and was only held loosely in place by the stainless steel guard; (2) trailering spacer clips missing; and additional rope support for outdrive severed. We also paid Roe for an outdrive oil change ($150) and new sea pump impeller ($250). When the boat was returned, we discovered that the lower outdrive unit had no oil and a blown out seal that we had to have repaired. Per Roe's own contract, we paid $1800 upfront and the $495 balance was due upon the boat's re-delivery: re-delivery required two week's notice. We called Roe on May 26 to have our boat returned by June 9. He said he was too busy and could not return it until June 19. He said he would charge us $200/month for extra storage. He also demanded that the $495 balance be paid BEFORE he returned the boat (in direct violation of his own terms). When we said we would pay upon delivery as per his Contract, he said he would not deliver our boat. Roe forced us to pay the balance prior to re-delivery or else we could not get our boat. We now understand that the reason why Roe insisted on being paid in advance was because of the damage he caused. He refused to give us a credit. Instead he offered to do the repairs and charge us even more at $100/hour; however he said he would not do the welding repair in the outdrive. He also took a very aggressive stance and went on a rant calling us "offensive" and "troublesome," even though he caused extensive damage, disregarded the terms of the contract, and charged us additional storage when he was running behind. Extremely disappointed and we have written an honest review because we don't want others to go through what we have experienced with The Boatmaster.
