I took a chance and called for outside storage for my boat on July 1st. I was told over the phone that there were 2 spots left that would accommodate my needs. I was skeptical that there was actually space (getting tougher to find every year), but there were 2 spots, and I was pleasantly surprised how well maintained the facility was. I took one nice spot, and both Henry and Ron were extremely professional and pleasant. I appreciate that! I rented space from a nearby competitor 2 seasons ago, and it was safe there, but the upkeep was very poor compared to Airport Self Storage. Henry the manager has gone out of his way to let me access the lot during non scheduled times. What more could I ask for? Real value has little to do with how much money a person spends. I would just like to warn people who sign a contract for a storage room at any location to specifically ask for and get in writing the terms of insurance coverage. I was not informed of the $500 deductible nor the 20% depreciation charge when I made my claim for water damage. Also it is possible and likely that the insurance company will change in the time you have your items stored. Be sure you are informed up front. read more

I have 10 x 30 unit here. Due to other expenses, being between pension checks, vehicle totally breaking down, I didn't get my rent in on time. Car was in shop all day 9/15 and couldn't p/u till 8:30pm. Emailed Henry to let him know this before it all happened, told him I'd be there 9/16. Got there at 7:45am, but they had totally locked me out. My cell phone was not working, so couldn't even call. They are now holding my whole life hostage. He even knows I'm homeless and living out of my vehicle with my cat right now. So I'll be moving my belongins as soon as I can find another storage place closer. Ron has been pretty decent to me though. read more

Until yesterday I was extremely happy with them. However , i just got a letter announcing and increase on the rent, from $229 to $269 a month. A 15.28% !!!! I'm really disappointed with this company. read more

Just to set the record straight, Airport Storage did NOT work with me to accept a fax/credit card the last time I had tried to rent a unit. The first couple of months that I used airport self storage were fine. The property is clean, secure, and the managers were very friendly. I found out this month that they did not automatically bill like all of the other storage units I have ever used which is a bit inconvenient, but not a huge deal. What did come as a shock though was that 21 days after this misunderstanding they were preparing my boat for sale. I paid up and was charged a late fee + an additional $20 lein notification fee. There are tons of storage options 20 miles down the road that charge 1/3 as much. I try my best to support local business, but I don't count anyone who treats me like that. read more

Airport Self Storage is top notch. Although the place is expensive, I think in some ways you get what you pay for. Your stuff will be secure, not become infested with anything, etc. That is more than can be said for other storage places. Both Henry and Robert were a pleasure to work with. I don't understand the low reviews. We've had a great experience with this company. They held a unit for us for a week, without charging us, until we came to town and actually needed it. Very easy upon move in. Good communication. Unit was clean and neat. Henry was very friendly and helpful. Set up automatic payments to avoid late fees if that is a concern. read more
