Ordered the Detroit pepperoni pizza with olives. They used kalamata olives instead of black olives, and the taste of kalamata olives overpowered the entire pizza. The sauce is overly sweet, and there are very few toppings. The "toasted" cheese on the sides of the pizza were overdone and tasted burnt. I did like the chewiness of the bread crust though. We ordered 2 pizzas, wings, salads and burrata. The tomatoes on the burrata were so fresh. The salads were good, nothing special, but the pizza was good. We got the 8 x 11 sizes and we had to cut the slices in half because they were very large. Great local spot. read more

This place is tiny, so expect to take out. We got the Chicago Pepperoni, I believe. The sauce and the dough are excellent. The sauce is savory without being too salty and isn't overwhelmingly garlicky. I like the parmesan on it, it's a lovely touch. Dough is nice and thick, fresh and retains a crunch. I'm not a huge fan of the burned cheese edge over the entire thing. That's a little rough to chew and while the cheese is great, low moisture and stretchy, the burned edges kind of waste that crusty bread on a traditional pizza. So my biggest "ew" was the halal approved beef pepperoni. It tasted completely different hot than it does cold and has a gamey undertone that just sort of ruined the entire flavor. I'm glad I tried it. I do think it's worth the trip, but they're far enough away from us that I don't think we'll be regulars. The price point is very reasonable. I'm just not a fan of their pepperoni. Edit to add that the customer service is outstanding and the place is really clean. read more

First off, Colleen was AMAZING! She made the visit so memorable and she was so happy to be doing her job which isn't a thing you see anymore. The moment you walk in she greets you with a smile and a big welcome. When she takes your order she makes sure you understand the menu if it's your first time which it was for us. She gave us the best recommendations and she was spot on. The food was delicious and so filling!!! I definitely recommend the garlic bread cheese dip! Eat that first cause it's so good when it's hot and drippy! The supreme pizza was my favorite! They did make a mistake on our pizza but immediately went back and fixed it with no issues. This pizza is just not for me. Based on the other reviews, I am convinced 1) it is authentic Detroit style; 2) the creative versions are worth trying; and 3) the ladies working there are sweet and customer focused. I just did not enjoy the pepperoni pizza at all. Too bready, dry due to lack of sauce and the mixture of cheeses makes a hard, rich cheese layer that does not appeal to me. The wings melt off the bone here! I'd get those again. I had the lemon pepper wings, and they seemed to have a little bit of sumac or some sort of Middle Eastern spice, which I loved.. So disappointing! We were sooo excited to try this place and it fell so flat. We ordered 2 pizzas and wings. Prices are high but I don't mind paying for good food especially when it's halal. Sadly the flavor was just not there. We had the spicy bbq wings which were nice and crispy but lacking meat and the sauce just wasn't good. 3 star review from me on this place might be a stretch for sure. I consider myself to be a pretty good judge of pizza because it has been one of my favorite foods for many decades now. I say, bad pizza is good and good pizza is great. I will say the pizza here really looks great, however, that's where it ends. Sauce is tasty but not enough. We tried the keto crust pizza this week and we will be back for sure! At first we were hoping to get a large keto pizza because we like leftovers. It is only offered in small so we got two small. Fire pizza. A friend introduced me to the "detroit" style pizza and have since been looking for a place with such a thing. Their Birria Pizza is fkn amazing.
