I stopped by this boba shop on my way to another place and it was a great experience. There was a holiday deal going on-- bogo. I got the brown sugar boba for half sweetness + oolong, size regular. It was still very sweet. The containers leaked because the lid was not the traditional sealed type. It was nice that the drinks were packaged in a to go bag. There was no active Wi-Fi when I went. Inside had plenty of Christmas decor, claw machines and loud music.

I originally came here for the brown sugar tea, but I could not help but order the Yuzu purple tea. I'm not exactly sure what they put in the Boba part, but it tasted like Yuzu. It was so refreshing. My friend got a coconut drink. I can't remember what it was called. I didn't taste it so I have no words for it. I kind of stop ordering bubble in my bubble tea because a lot of places have not been making it right. It's usually very chewy and no flavor. I would highly recommend getting the Bubble here. They have a wok a fresh Boba! That was my original goal to get, but I could not stop thinking about the Yuzu tea. It had like a gummy Yuzu Boba. I don't know what it was, but it was delicious and I think I would order it again. The actual shop was very cute, and gave kind of a Chinese temple vibes. Hear me out on one side of the café there is Chinese fortune sticks, and once you pick your stick, you read the number and then you find the fortune. Very cute a little different. I don't think I've ever seen a bubble tea shop to do that. My best friend and I both got our fortunes. There's plenty of seats , and a little claw machine corner. I wanted to take a picture, but there were children on the claw machine and I didn't want to take pictures of them. I highly recommend this place for good bubble tea. Also, if you notice in the picture, they also have the drinks on the stand with a ring light. They definitely thought of us in mind. They knew we were gonna take pictures. Haha

So much to appreciate here: hot fresh boba, fortunes, new year gifts, all kinds of drink flavors. Didn't see an option for straight tea with boba but it was our first time, may have missed it. A fun outing!

Pistachio & Black Sesame Soft Serve

God I love Xing Fu Tang. This place has my heart. Their boba is warm, sweet, and so soft with the perfect amount of chew. The texture is just bliss. If you're looking for the best boba in Duluth - THIS IS THE PLACE. It's made fresh every day, you can even watch how it's made on their instagram page. I've been coming here for almost two years now, and it's a joy every single time. The drink I usually get is the Dalgona Coffee with Brown Sugar Boba. The foam on top isn't sweetened so you can taste exactly how good the coffee is. But, the rest of the drink is pretty sweet. If you're not trying to get a caffeine rush or just feeling a different flavor, all the other drinks are worth a try. Recently they started selling seasonally flavored soft serve. Like with everything else at this place, the texture is just right. It's not the type that's overly soft and melts right away, and it's not the icey stiff kind either. Perfectly in the middle. I'm sad I missed out on trying their mango or coconut-lychee this summer, but for fall their flavors are pistachio and black sesame. Individually these flavors are amazing but you can also get them swirled together and man oh man the swirl is IT. The pistachio soft serve gives you an immediate taste of delight, and then the black sesame's nutty flavor kicks in as an aftertaste. You can also opt to get black sesame boba, brown sugar boba, red bean, etc. with the soft serve and they'll put it at the bottom of the cup. It's included in the price ($6!) and not an extra charge. Beyond the food, I love this place for what it is. It's not a sit down type of place where you wanna stay for too long, but the fortune stick station is so fun and sometimes it's just what I need. When I'm down, nothing makes me feel better than grabbing some tasty boba and picking a little fortune from their wall. Getting a short piece of advice or encouragement makes the experience so much more comforting and whimsical. They've also got a corner for little crane machines, and I love the family that runs this place. Always the happiest and sweetest people. They offer promos here and there which only gives me more of a reason to come back! Xing Fu Tang does not miss, ever. Comforting, fun, and consistently delicious. And right now the place is decorated for Halloween! A great place to visit alone or with company.

Love the drinks and food here. Unfortunately today they were out of black sesame soft serve which is my go to and sucks because i'm a visitor from another state. So went with the strawberry frappe which was very good. But no wifi for customers?? Had to drop a star because of that.

Stopped by Xing Fu Tang for a little boba break and it didn't disappoint! I got the Strawberry Boba Matcha Milk and my husband had the Strawberry Boba Milk. Both were super refreshing and had the perfect balance of sweet and creamy. I have to say their matcha is not my favorite. Their boba itself though, very good quality and taste! Ordering was quick and easy, and they have plenty of seating which made it a nice spot to just relax for a bit. Definitely a cute bubble tea cafe to check out if you're in the mood for something delicious.

First time at this location for their kpop demon hunter pop up event! They had a little merch stall and a cosplay contest, along with a couple stations where you could make your own huntrix or saja boy cup sleeve, vote for your favorite band, display artwork, and showcase the huntrix and saja boy cutouts. The staff was very kind and considerate too (5/5). The drinks were alright (3/5), tasted like soda and lemonade with toppings tbh. But the presentation was on point! The soda pop drink had glitter.

This place serves fantastic drinks! Wow was it good! I had an iced jasmine tea with strawberry boba. The boba is made fresh and you can watch them tend to it as your drink is being made. There are a ton of options! They also have a limited selection of food but I didn't try any of that. I enjoyed the fortune box and my free fortune. They' also have some claw machines and a large screen TV playing k-pop. The customer service was friendly. My only concern is the price. Two drinks were just under 20 bucks (before tip). So pretty expensive but in my opinion worth it for the occasional treat. Highly recommended.

Cute boba spot. I know this has been a while but I loved the Christmas specials and the specially curated seasonal drinks - especially the presentation with the fun plastic bottles. Mine had a legit hat and scarf, what detail! My decision was definitely determined by the successful marketing haha Staff were accommodating to the festive, fun atmosphere near this likely busy holiday season. Will be back!

XING FU TIFF AT XING FU TANG | I've been to Xing Fu Tang many times as a "VIP" and my go-to drink is their signature brown sugar boba milk, which I would receive for free. But this time I wanted to take my parents so I brought them in and let them choose some drinks to try, my treat! My dad is a huge red bean & taro fan so he ordered the red bean taro milk, which was perfect for him. Little on the sweeter side for him but otherwise he enjoyed the real taro and red bean toppings. My mom ordered the matcha boba milk since she's a huge matcha latte fan. We weren't a huge fan of the strawberry boba but it did make for a pretty picture. The interior is super cute and clean! Seating is relatively plentiful, although during peak hours it may be hard to find a table if you have a larger group. I love the huge boba in the corner, perfect for for photo opps. They also make their brown sugar boba hot and fresh before your eyes, which speaks to what is so special about their boba! Their menu can be a bit crazy and hectic, especially with their seasonal specials - some of which are excellent and others, not so much my style. But I can't deny that their signature brown sugar boba is top tier and worth ordering again and again.

Milk tea and brown sugar boba

What makes Xin Fu Tang unique is its boba that's made from scratch. The boba is always fresh with great QQ. They also offer tons of seasonal drinks, so you can always try something new. Make sure you always stir your drink well, because the boba is served hot in your cup. I love that they offer stickers, tokens for slot machines, and keychains for different holidays. I've often been pleasantly surprised by their promos and free items. They also have great soft serve! They change up their flavor of the day often.

Lychee fruit tea with strawberry popping boba and 21. Dalgona Coffee Milk/Milk Tea
Huma H.

Really good bubble tea!! I love the lychee Fruit tea with strawberry boba half sweet with less ice. It's refreshing and not too sweet, the natural bitterness of the tea is well offset by the boba. The boba is fresh so the cup is still warm!! My sisters go to is the dalgona brown sugar boba milk tea, super frothy with a nice coffee kick. The inside of the store is super clean and welcoming, they have a few activities to do too which makes for a nice place to hang out. The staff are SUPER friendly and helpful too!

Duluth has many, many bubble tea places (a Michelin rated place even opened up in the area!). So there's a lot of competition. Xing Fu Tang, though, is known for using real gold foil and has a whole edible rose, which while unnecessarily beautiful, is something to experience (how many people can say they've eaten a whole rose sitting atop a layer of real gold?). Outside of that, it doesn't add much to the tea. It's a gimmick. People are better off ordering other items. There are two options for ordering: at the counter or the kiosk next to the entrance (not the best placement, kind of in the way of people entering). The interior wasn't made for people to sit and stay like a cafe. You can, but there's not much room, and only one area for sitting. Having been here before but not leaving a review until now, I will include my friends' thoughts and my own. My friends really like their brown sugar drinks, and I like that they use actual taro. It may be a bit difficult to drink since the chunks are diced in a size that doesn't always fit the straw, but the drink itself is yummy. We went on a Saturday around 5, and it wasn't busy, so they were really fast with getting us our drinks. The boba was fresh and warm in the drink. Xing Fu Tang is on the pricier side of bubble tea places, but my friends wanted their brown sugar drink, so we went. There's always one place that has one drink you like more than others, and you go when you're in the mood for THAT one. This was one of those times for my friends. Besides the tea, they also have some food items. I'm not sure how filling or tasty they are though. I like that you can draw a stick and see your fortune (I had average luck while both my friends somehow both got the same stick, number, and very good fortune). They also have crane machines, and they change the prizes often enough. When I went, only 3 Halloween Sanrio characters remained. It's very cute that they do seasonal stuff.

When I opened the omurice, the rich egg and cheese aroma covered the entire dish, and every spoonful of rice was full of flavor. The sweet and tangy fried chicken skewers were also delicious. Surprisingly, craving this got me to come back a second time. The Fire Chicken Omelette Ramen had the same presentation, but Buddok ramen instead of sushi rice. Disappointing, because I could have just made Buddok ramen at home. The Schewan noodles were not spicy nor tasty. Takoyaki was good, on a bed of potato fries. Would order again. For the Beef Bulgogi Cheese Fries, the bulgogi is good, the fries are not. These fries are from the frozen section at Costco, make no mistake. They are bland, 2/5 star fries. Even if the bulgogi was on top of better fries, the bulgogi is dry and the cheese on it isn't melty or saucy, so the fries and the topping don't mix together well. Just a pile of dry food.

The Second Level / Upper Floor is reserved for if you are going to be ordering/dining in for the pastas and/or savory foods. I only tried their coffee today on the first level. I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. There was no password on the receipt, only a QR Code that you need to scan. Overall - Yes I would recommend this place for a nice little coffee stop. Check it out for yourself. Enjoy!

I've tried a variety of their drinks, and my go-to is the Strawberry Earl Grey latte. It's SO GOOD. Nothing is overly sweet, and the tea flavor really shines. My brother likes the mango matcha and my cousin always goes for the vanilla earl grey latte (coffee) or the pistachio latte. We also enjoy their sandwiches too. Would definitely recommend this place! They have a little punch card, where your 10th drink is free, and the owner is so nice! There's waves of people coming and going, but it's not constantly super packed like other places. It's not the biggest place, but you can find seating, and it's a nice place to get stuff done. I wish I could gatekeep this place, but I also want them to be successful. Go try them out!

It's a couple scoops of ice cream with espresso. Pumpkin Spiced Latte: Was good but nothing outstanding. Peanut Butter Cream Einspanner (Iced): Peanut butter cream was good, but once you mix the drink together the peanut flavor is lost. If you like the darker bolder coffee taste, this is a good one to try. Vibe: Music is always upbeat and peaceful, mostly a calm study cafe but some people grab and go. Service: On my first visit I was offered a stamp card. 10 stamps, and your next item is free. The owner is always there and is very welcoming and polite, but it's only for the sake of business. It's not genuine friendliness or care for customers. When I picked up my PSL, I immediately noticed the cup was too light. I ordered a large and there was at least 1.5 inches of space between the fill line and the rim of the cup. Why pay extra for a large if I'm getting served a small? Given that the drink was prepared by the cafe owner herself, I would have been embarrassed to serve a customer such a drink. My other complaint is that I'd visited 3 times in the past two weeks, sat in the cafe for at 3+ hours each time, and was in a rush to attend a important zoom meeting, and planned to order after my meeting was over. 30 mins in, I was actively speaking on the video call when the cafe owner interrupted me to say that I couldn't sit without ordering a drink. So many parts of me want to justify her behavior, maybe she's anxious about the cafe not making enough money - but given that she has seen me before and I was actively speaking - that rubbed me the wrong way. I was beginning to feel comfortable at the cafe but that moment made me hesitant to return. If this hadn't happened, I would have considered this a 5/5 star establishment and found a go-to study spot.
