Ordering was quick but it took almost 30 min to get my drink. There were 11 people working but it somehow still wasn't enough. Seating was full inside and packed for some reason so we waited outside. We got some matcha cheese drink or something and it was pretty good. It had a strong matcha tea flavor and wasn't overly sweet. I enjoyed it but not $8 worth. Would I come here again? No. There's too much competition. Tea Top is better. 4.0 and Tiger Sugar are also walking distance.
Strong tea flavor, the jasmine milk tea is floral and refreshing. My friend got a matcha which was also great. The spot itself is cramped - if you go at any point of the day where others will likely be there (evenings, weekends), expect a wait and there's not much space to stand or sit.
I feel like Molly Tea is a hit or miss depending on your taste buds. If you like strong tea flavored drinks that aren't too sweet, Molly Tea is for you. However if you're like me and you prefer your milk tea to be a little sweeter, then you may find Molly Tea disappointing. This is my second time having Molly Tea (once in NY, and now in ATL) and my thoughts are still the same - strong tea flavor, but not quite to my preference. I don't think it's bad by any means, just not worth the $8 that was spent. I got their brown sugar boba pearls this time and I can definitely say that their boba is not up to par with other boba shops in my opinion. I didn't feel that the boba added any layer of brown sugar flavor, and the texture was a bit different than other places. They do have a lot of interesting drink options that make me want to keep coming back despite being a bit underwhelmed each time. Apparently if you download the app you'll receive a $1-2 off coupon depending how much your order total is. Ordering online will also help you skip the hassle of the physical lines!
Molly Tea offers refreshing Taiwanese drinks that aren't overly sweet, which I really appreciate. The flavors taste clean and authentic, just like the teas from Taiwan. At $7.99 for one size, it does feel a bit pricey. I also wish the shop were bigger -- there are only about four small tables, which makes it a little inconvenient if you want to sit and enjoy your drink. The service was fast. Overall, great taste, but the space and pricing could be better.
Went grand opening weekend & the lines went super quick. The staff was so efficient. Not only did they had someone at the front door taking orders they also had 2 cashiers and 2 self kiosk pending for orders. The store is new modern design, similar to their Og location in NY. I got the pleasure to go to the grand openings in 2 of the NYC stores & GA. While it felt super cramped in GA its 100% more spacious than the NYC location. I swear the one in flushings is practically a store stand, it was so busy. I was in line for 2hrs. The drinks were absolutely amazing. Although it could be a little bit stronger. I absolutely loved the Osmanthus tea. I feel like you don't really get that flavor and a lot of traditional bubble tea shops. At least the Americanized ones. I really appreciate any place that has a mix of modern flavor and traditional Chinese tea.
I saw all the hype about this spot on social media and decided to stop by with some friends. There's a big size lot but seating inside is limited and can get super busy! I went with the Jasmine Apple Milk tea which was a super pretty pink drink! The tea is quite strong but overall loved the fragrant jasmine tea with hints of apple. I love that I could customize the sweetness and ice levels of the drink. Overall, I really enjoyed this spot and can't wait to come back!
Wanted to see what the hype is. There was a line out the door before they opened but I went to shop at H Mart first, when I came back the line was shorter. Really cute and aesthetic shop! My drink came pretty quick - got the classic jasmine milk tea to try. Got it at 70% sugar and lite ice and it was not too sweet at all. At other places I get 50% and this felt like a 50 to me! So the sugar level was perfect for me. Tea flavor is pretty strong and not as milky which I liked. Though I feel like it could be a little stronger. It's a bit pricey but I think you are paying for the fancy packaging lol. Will def come back to try more drinks!
Molly Tea is a trendy new tea spot in the Doraville Plaza (also has many restaurants and Hmart). Molly Tea, Chagee, and Hey Tea are currently really popular tea chains and Molly is the first of those to come to Atlanta. I went to the soft opening and I didn't have to wait long fortunately! But later on, I did see a line going out the door. The drink menu for the soft opening is pretty simple. A lot of drinks have a similar tea base and just different additions, such as the Snowy series. The Snowy series teas are topped with a jasmine whipped cream and chopped pistachios. The jasmine whipped cream is so so good and surprisingly the pistachios were a perfect addition. It came with a spoon so you can scoop up the whipped cream on top easily. The teas here have a really strong, fragrant herbal and floral taste. So if you aren't into really strong floral tea flavors, this may not be for you. The Snowy Jasmine seems to be one of the most popular drinks. I tried the Snowy Jasmine, but I much preferred the Snowy Peach Oolong. It had a much milder tea/herbal flavor. The Peach Tieguanyin Oolong Milk Tea is the same as the Snowy Peach Oolong except without the whipped cream topping if you are looking for something lighter. I also tried the Osmanthus Milk Tea and I wasn't a huge fan, but it's all down to preference. There's also a Matcha drink series for all the matcha lovers! The storefront is really beautiful and you can't miss it. There's a bright pink cart adorned with flowers. I can see how Molly Tea is so popular on social media. The design and all the pink is just so aesthetically pleasing. I love the pink cups and pink bags. The inside is very narrow but a simple marbled design with pink accents. There's a long booth with about 4 tables and a few other seats. So it may be hard to grab a seat inside. There's not much space to wait inside either so I can see how the line goes out the door. Staff were very efficient though. Definitely worth checking out if you like strong floral teas and love the photo-friendly cute pink design!

When they first opened back in December 2025, they had a BOGO deal that attracted a great number of people. I unfortunately was unable get a drink during that period, but I did see that the line wrapped around the building! I'm impressed by the draw, and it seemed like back when Hey Yogurt had their grand opening, drink orders took up to an hour plus! The wait is much more manageable now, thankfully. Maybe a 10-15 minute wait, though it could be different on a weekday? Can't say for sure how strong their pull is, but I hear they'll be opening up another tea shop in Duluth. I love that all the packaging is pink. It's really cute, and it's so funny to see a pink Cybertruck make tea deliveries. It's very memorable! Kinda like their jasmine tea. It has a noticeable floral scent, so if you prefer a more subtle tea, I would suggest ordering something else. I found the flavor rather lovely myself, but I know some may find the jasmine florals of their tea overpowering especially if they're more used to milk tea, where even the tea flavor is not as pronounced. It is a bit pricier than other chains, but I find that it's still worth it for a better quality tea to go. Somewhat similar to ChiCha in that regard. For some reason, the location is listed as Atlanta, though it is in Doraville. Basically right next to H-Mart Doraville actually! For anyone concerned over parking, don't be. While it may be busy in the area because of grocery shopping and the restaurants there, you will be able to park.
Molly tea has amazing jasmine tea that tastes floral but not over powering. It pairs really well with green tea/matcha. They have limited menu options and most of them focus on green tea base. We tried the matcha and snowy jasmine. Both the drinks tasted fantastic! (You can adjust sweet/ice level). Note: Currently they do not have milk alternatives. Hopefully this will change in future. Limited seating inside. Very crowded but the line moves faster. Very efficient in terms of ordering and picking up your drinks. Prices are 7$ to 9$/drink. No issue with parking. Huge complex that is shared with other retailers including H mart!
My friends and I visited during their soft opening on a Tuesday. They did a pretty good job managing the foot traffic; although I arrived right when the store opened, the wait for my drink was about 30 minutes. The aesthetics are great--modern, clean, and well organized, which I really appreciated. I ordered the White Champaca Milk Tea and the Premium Jasmine Matcha. The White Champaca Milk Tea had strong floral notes, which made it very unique and refreshing. The Premium Jasmine Matcha was well balanced, offering a light jasmine green tea flavor paired with a silky, rich, and smooth matcha foam. Overall, it was a solid experience, and I'm looking forward to coming back in the future.
Drove by three times on the first day of the soft opening and the line was looped around the liquor storeall three times that I gave up. On the second day, surprisingly the line was right outside their door that i got to go in. I do think they should be giving out menu for those in line because once I went in, I had no idea what to get and just rushed to pick one of the recommended teas. I did have my eye on a mango tea that I saw was available in NY spots but they didnt have it. Once I ordered it took 25min to get my tea which was long but understandable for new opening. I ordered the Green Tea Pistachio champaca coconut tea. The pistachio cream quality was good but the tea itself had floral taste which im not a fan of. Not sure if all of their teas have floral taste but willing to go back to try others. It was recommended to do 70% sweetness as their tea isnt sweet and i do agree with this since I did 70% and it was still not too sweet and perfect. One thing I didnt like was their tactic of getting reviews for free sachet even before getting the drinks. I saw 200 google reviews on the first day and its a bit misleading.

I went on a Sunday night with my friend, we both ordered the Jasmine Hazelnut Chocolate Lava from the self-service, its subtle sweetness but strong in Jasmine tea which I love, the perfect balance. My friend added the topping, brown sugar boba pearl, it was so fresh! Bonus points, probably constantly making with how busy and popular it is. So if you like not overpowering sweetness, I reccomend! After 3 months since the grand opening, It was even very busy on a Sunday night, the wait time after ordering was about 20 minutes (Staff member forgot to make on of our drinks). Molly tea offers refreshing tawainese drinks that aren't overly sweet, the flavors give a taste of authentic Tawain. It is a one size drink, for the price of $7.99 it's a bit pricey. The shop was very aesthetic and clean, just narrow and limited seating, not a place to sit and enjoy if you're looking to relax. Since they opened, Molly Tea became our go to drink place. Whenever we are craving something cold after dinner, we make the short drive to Molly Tea. Recommendations - Matcha Salted Cheese Jasmine Tea, Pistachio Tea. Their matcha is quite unique, you taste more jasmine than matcha, but that's a good thing. The Pistachio drink is the single most unique drink we have had here in ATL. Price - It can be a little pricey, especially if you start adding boba and other toppings, but well worth the price! Parking - huge free parking lot in front shared with HMart. Ambiance - More of a to go place. They don't have a lot of tables, and even if they had, it's usually very loud to work or have a conversation. read more

Molly Tea is a popular tea chain that specializes in milk and floral teas. It is known for its minimalistic and pink aesthetic. We came on the soft opening day and it was packed. However, the line moved quickly and the staff prepared the drinks efficiently, along with great care and attention to detail. We got the Snowy Jasmine and Pistachio White Champaca Coconut. The drinks are not that sweet so it is recommended to get less ice and regular or 70% sugar levels. To preface this review, I am not a fan of milk teas but I love tea (jasmine, green, etc.) so I wanted to give this place a try. Honestly, my boyfriend and I were not big fans of either drinks. They tasted mostly of tea... and I think we wanted more? The drinks started tasting a bit better at the end when everything was mixed together and the tea definitely tasted very high quality. Maybe we should have gotten different drinks, but I think that this place is a bit overhyped for me. It definitely is cool to have a spot like this in Atlanta as it is only in other major cities such as NYC and Chicago. I think that Molly Tea will do well in the area and if you are a fan of fresh floral or milk tea that is not too sweet, then this is your new go-to spot. read more

Finally got to trying Molly Tea since it was all over social media when they first opened. While there were people waiting for their order inside and were kind of crowing everywhere, it was a smooth process for us. We ordered from the kiosk and I got one of the Don cong oolong milk tea with half ice and 30% sugar. I really enjoyed it as you can taste the strong tea flavor and still had a good amount of sweetness. It came with a super interesting flat straw too. read more
It's ok! Very very beautiful tea spot with lots of unique offerings. This place is POPULAR and the staff are well trained for it and kind. I tried all of the drinks overtime since they opened and I'd say over half are good with my favorite being the Osmanthus series. The price is high compared to other tea spots especially in this area. Long wait if you go during nighttime. Not really a boba spot, so come here if you mistly just like milk tea. Unrelated, but they have a branded giant cybertruck which was a big turn off and eyesore. I'm kinda confused. I keep ordering the boba but they give me this square jelly type thing that I don't like. The jasmine tea however is light and enjoyable to drink. The oolong milk tea is my favorite and great as well. The staff is kind and very fast. The interior is a little small and cramped especially with how busy it can get. We were in the area and saw a cute little tea shop and wanted to give them a try. To our surprise they had only been open for a few days prior to our visit. It was a line but the line went down pretty quickly. We had the Jasemine type of tea and the matcha Jasemine (I am horrible with remembering the names of the things I order. Just show the picture lololol) The ladies were friendly. The floors were a little dirty but I'm assuming it's because of all the traffic's they have been getting due to the grand opening. I saw on TikTok some complaints were bc the flavor of the tea was not authentic. Im not able to dispute that. I simply enjoyed my drink and the type of milk they used did not cause me gas. I went with my friends for Molly Tea's opening night, and I tried the snowy peach tea. It was really good, and the packaging was very cute--it came in a pink cup with a pink insulated bag that had cup holders at the bottom! The straws and spoons were also very interesting and creative, the straws are 3 small tiny straws put together which made the drinking experience very new and enjoyable. The interior is decorated very beautifully, with merchandise for sale displayed on the walls. The interior is clean and the staff worked quickly getting us our boba order despite there being a long line since it was opening night. The only critique is that since the shop is small, there isn't a lot of space for seating options, but otherwise, I would definitely recommend trying this place out!! read more
I've tried Molly Tea out of state and was so excited to see one open in Atlanta. It is located in the Hmart Doraville plaza and has some indoor seating inside. I showed up about 30 min before opening on a Sunday of the grand opening to check out the line situation. The line started to quickly form about 15 min before 11am. I tried the Snowy Dancong and White Champoca Oolong Milk Tea. Both were really good! The flavor is light and perfect sweetness at 70% sweet. No boba pearls in the drink but still so good. read more
Despite the line and being busy their service was pretty quick.the establishments had many employees and the drinks were pretty good the matcha wasn't really as strong and the coffee was little watery. The lines were intimidating but went by fairly quickly. I got the snowy jasmine to try and two other drinks as well. I think their default is 70% sugar and it was perfect level of sweetness for me but those who prefer theirs drinks like a sweet drink should still get 100% sugar. I enjoyed the drink as it was fragrant and the whipped cream was a creamy addition. The only thing I would say that could've been improved was making sure the lids were secure. We got our order already packaged in the bag so we didn't open to check it, but one of the drinks wasn't secured properly and spilled all over the bag. Super cute new viral boba shop in doraville. Everyone had a lot of hype around Molly Tea so I was excited to try it. We have had all of the top drinks with the notable ones being the premium Jasmine milk tea and the dacong oolong milk tea. Overall, the floral teas are very good, solid, light and refreshing, although they didn't blow me away like I thought they would. It's not too sweet and you can definitely taste the floral notes. I'm not too crazy about it but would go again if there is a short line. Service was very fast. The space is very clean and modern, and they do a great job of marketing. read more

Went after the opening, and it was still decently packed but the line wasn't too long. The ostmanthus tea was nice and light. Nothing crazy though. The Snowy Jasmine (pictured) was just okay. Not anything that I expected with all the social media hype. The whipped cream was supposed to be infused with jasmine, but I really didn't get any jasmine flavor. The tea was VERY Jasmine-y, almost artificial tasting. Snowy Jasmine came with nuts on the top, which we didn't see on the menu. Not sure if it was displayed elsewhere but if you have a nut allergy, I would recommend asking just to be safe. read more
Yes, the wait is worth it. Just go! I'm not a big sweet drink enjoyer, and the 50% sweetness was PERFECTTTT! Also the snowy drink series is rly yummy and I would drown myself in the jasmine whipped cream. I came about ten minutes after they opened and only waited around ten minutes in line, which honestly isn't bad for a soft opening. The snowy jasmine was so good. The whipped cream on top was light and creamy, and the jasmine tea itself was super fragrant and smooth. Super refreshing and an easy new go-to. I would consider myself a serious boba and tea enthusiast. I've tried everything from Chagee and Heytea in other states and overseas to nearly every boba shop in the greater Atlanta area--from the early days of Quickly in the early 2010s, Sweet Hut, boba mocha, onezo/greatea,Kung Fu Tea, Ding Tea, and Gong Cha, to later arrivals like Tiger Sugar and Xing Fu Tang, and more recent spots such as Chicha San Chen and Yezi. Unfortunately, something feels off about the drinks at Molly Tea. It's hard to describe, but the tea tastes noticeably artificial--almost as if an artificial jasmine fragrance or essence was added. I visited on the first day of the grand opening and again on the third day, and I paid for every popular drink on the menu. In total, I purchased eight mixed variety of their popular drinks, which I feel is enough to confidently share this opinion. I also wanted to double-check my initial impression, and I found similar feedback from other Chinese customers on the Rednote (Xiaohongshu) app. If you read Chinese--or use Google Translate--you'll see multiple comments raising the same concern, and one employee reportedly confirmed that a jasmine-flavored essence is used for aroma. As someone who has been drinking jasmine tea for over two decades, this stood out to me immediately. I've made jasmine tea myself many times and regularly drink high-quality loose-leaf jasmine teas, including Supreme Jasmine Snowflake (Bi Tan Piao Xue) from Sichuan and brands like Harney & Sons. What Molly Tea serves does not resemble traditionally brewed jasmine tea in taste or aroma. That said, the shop itself is very aesthetically pleasing, and the space is nicely designed. However, the lines were surprisingly short even on days 1 and 3 of the grand opening, which is usually not a great sign. For comparison, Chicha San Chen consistently had long lines for 4-6 months after opening before things gradually slowed down. Overall, I believe Molly Tea's popularity is driven more by social media presence, K-pop celebrity endorsements, and TikTok marketing than by the quality of the tea itself. Some drinks do look visually appealing, but for example, the "snowy jasmine" is essentially whipped cream topped with pistachio crumbs rather than a meaningful enhancement of the tea. If I have to be forced to pick a favorite, I think the snowy oolong is tolerable. If you ask me what the best tea brand in the United States is, my answer would be Chagee. The closest experience to that here in Atlanta is Chicha San Chen, where each drink is freshly brewed using espresso-style tea machines right in front of you. The difference in tea quality and authenticity is very noticeable. read more

I tried this brand for the first time in NY and went back several times in a weekend and even bought a jasmine candle from them, so you can imagine I was excited to see this location open in Georgia. Don't be intimidated by the line out the door! Not only is it absolutely earned, but the wait time is exceptionally quick despite the crowd size. If you want a break from toothachingly sweet boba and love a fragrant tea, give this place a try. I can't promise that they will do this again, but I ordered a drink with no ice to enjoy the next day and they actually filled my cup to the brim instead of leaving room for ice like I expected! Came for the soft opening at Molly Tea. There was about a 30-minute wait to place an order, and toppings weren't available to add yet, which is understandable during a soft opening. Despite that, everything ran smoothly and the staff handled things well. The teas were very floral with a strong, fragrant aroma, perfect for jasmine tea lovers. The quality of the tea really stood out. I'd recommend ordering with less ice and sugar to fully enjoy the tea's natural flavor. Even my man, who usually doesn't like very floral drinks, was surprisingly impressed and really loved the Snowy Jasmine hot drink. Overall, a promising start and I'd definitely come back. read more

I had such a great experience at Molly Tea! The drinks were fresh, perfectly made, and honestly just hit the spot. I especially love the Snowy Jasmine -- it's my go-to every time, and their whipped cream is AMAZING. Huge shoutout to Eric, Dantong, Aiden, and Tiffany -- they were all incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming. They took the time to answer questions, made great recommendations, and made the whole visit feel relaxed and enjoyable instead of rushed. Also the shop and decor is beautiful!
