I get the vitriol against Comcast/xfinity, the company itself, as am sure we've all had bad experiences with them as their customer service is ranked #1 worst in the nation. But this review is based on customer service for this location that I got on a Saturday afternoon. The location is located in a busy strip with multiple other businesses, so parking can be a bit tricky but it's available. Looks like they revamped/remodeled inside as the store now is brightly lit instead of the dark and dingy look they had before. The service desk staff was friendly and there were 5-6 associates there so I was promptly attended to as soon as I walked through the doors. My entire transaction took maybe 5ish minutes at most and I was out of there. Maybe you just have to catch them at the right time or something but I had a overall great customer service experience at this location. read more

Super relieved we didn't have the experience it seems like everyone else. We had a great experience yesterday getting Internet and cell phone. Everybody was really nice, I wish I remembered everybody's name but I do remember our tech was Noah and he was so knowledgeable and amazing and super friendly. Our situation was complicated and then even more complicated and they worked through everything seamlessly and we feel like we got a great deal. We went from California prices at $160 for cell phones and $100 for Internet to Xfinity prices 120 total a month including a iPhone 16 which ended up being free I wish I could remember her name but the manager was amazing also! read more

Xfinity adds services on months in. I've tried to get this remedied only to be put into a perpetual loop and told I'm a liar by their supervisor. They suspended my service but I told them to cancel it since they clearly have a shady process. Today, (a month later and still suspended) I get an invoice which is higher than the one I was trying to get fixed. So Xfinity charges even when they've suspended service..,illegal as heck! I'm fuming with B.B.B and F.C.C. Xfinity can explain to them once they start investigating how many people they did this to! read more

Worst customer service ever. We came in 10 mins before closing to get a cell phone we made an appointment 6:45 we were 5 mins late. The guy his name was Joshua was rude. Unhelpful. And instead of making the experience better I bought a screen saver it was 5 mins before they close I asked him if he could put it on I just spent 65 dollars on a screen protector and he said we are closed I would have to make an appointment and come back tomorrow. this store and its "manager" Alfonso is the biggest wait of time and is run so poorly! to call this a "retail" location is a joke! after spending nearly 2 hours hear I left and went to west St. Paul and they were fantastic!!! this Woodbury location needs to strongly be assessed because it is lacking HUGE and the way it is ran is so subpar it will make you want to cancel your service on the spot. read more

DO NOT GET XFNITY MOBLE! I went to upgrade my internet service and after being with Verizon for 20 years they convinced me that it would be more cost effective to switch to Xfinity. I switched and bought 3 new phones. The first issue was that for some reason they were having trouble with their order system and couldn't complete in the store so they had to ship the phones to me (even though we had them in our hands) and it took 3 days. Then we set them up ourselves. About a week after we started using the new phones my sons phone kept losing cellular service but it would return when we'd reseat the SIM card. I came into the store and they replaced the SIM card and recommended we just replace the phone under warranty just in case, so we placed the order. When the new phone arrived we converted everything over but after another week we started having the same problem again. In the interim I still needed to return the original phone and now try to get the second one replaced. I had thrown out the original phone box, so I put the old phone in the new phone box and went to return it to the Xfinity store. When I went to return it they said it would be a 30min wait. I'm just here to drop off a return piece of hardware. They said I could take it to any UPS store without a label and they'd return it to Xfinity for free. I went to the UPS store and they said it wasn't recognized in their system and wouldn't take it. I tried calling customer service and after struggling to get past the AI assistant I got someone who could barely speak English and I had to repeat my issue 3 times. Finally I hung up and just went back to the store. When they went to process the return they said they couldn't because it wasn't in the original box and I needed the original box to return it. ITS THE EXACT SAME PHONE!!!! I had enough and walked out. They will probably charge me for the unreturned phone but they will never get another dime of my business!! read more

Upa was my service tech and he was so helpful. Normally I dread coming into Xfinity to do business but this young man was so patient, easy to talk to, and resolved my concerns. He was able to walk me through how to fix my account and I greatly appreciate when people take time to explain why problems arise and actually understand customer service! Customer service, employees seems to take themselves a bit too seriously. Wasn't greeted coming in, then left without the modem I bought and paid for, I'm not sure an employee disagreement should mean I don't have internet so I might be taking my business somewhere else. I returned equipment for bundled services on 12/06/2022 at 3:24pm to Wdby Comcast at 429 Commerce. While it seemed the return was simple and done, I have been getting notices of non return of equipment on 1/04/2023 and 2/19/2023. I called both times with my receipt of return No. Hopefully it will be resolved now. Don't appreciate this inefficiency (if that's all it is). read more

I rarely do reviews but I had such a great experience today at the Xfinity store in Woodbury. Danny was the one that helped me and he really went above and beyond with his customer service. I also noticed another sales associate named Austin and he was patiently and kindly helping an older gentleman with his phone. He even went out to the guys car to help set up his Bluetooth because he didn't understand how it worked. It was really nice to see and it just made my day. read more

We came here to add my cell phone to my wife's Xfinity. The line was 6 people long and waited in the queue for 30 minutes. Then, we were told still had 6 people before us. I drove to Best Buy to pick up glass screen protector and case while my wife waited with our newborn in line. It turned out those 6 people left since it took too long. My wife got my phone setup by the time I got back from Best Buy. Overall, the service was fine but the wait was ridiculous. read more

Based on previous reviews, I was prepared to spend hours here to turn in my equipment, but I was shocked to find that I was in and out in about 10 minutes, maybe less. Maybe I just came in at the right time. The greeter was very nice; no one was wearing name tags so I unfortunately don't know who he was. Terrible experience. The manager Anthony had mentioned that they would have given us three month credit as my elderly parents did not have functioning Wi-Fi and were not getting the channels they were paying for. Essentially what happened was they only refunded the cable boxes. We tried the phone number that was listed by google numerous times and there was no response and my parents were not able to get a hold of a human being. That said considering the situation with COVID in the United States the manager accused them of being at fault as they were not able to get into the store whereas they are considered in the vulnerable category. They had used service since 2017 and xfinity had profited thousands from them. They took advantage of elderly people who were not able to have the means to simply contact by telephone and the manager tried to accuse me of lying about it. Their customer service is a shambles and my suggestion is that if you want to have adequate service to go somewhere where they listen to your concerns and finding solutions, We will be taking our services elsewhere after the month is finished due to their lack of candor and insensitivity towards the elderly. read more

This store sucks,always has a waiting line,yesterday it took a little bit over an hour to be able yo exchange my modem,after all that wait,turns out I was not even given all the cables to be able to install my new modem,even after I asked if i should just give back what i had and if the new modem bag had everything... well that wasn't the case... today there is another list of 12 people already,so another hour to just get one cable. And not to even talk about how many times we had to reset our modem daily before finally giving up and coming to the store. read more

Wow, I've actually had pretty good service here while it sounds like many haven't. I'm not a huge Comcast fan - they charge too much, blah, blah, blah BUT, lately when/if I have an issue, they're friendly and help me out asap whether it's on the phone or in-person at this location. They claim that they are the most reliable internet service which is not true. 3-4 times a year we have an outage. We spend an hour on the phone with tech support and ultimately making a 30 mile drive the closet xfinity location to pick up a new modem. This service sucks... Came into the woodbury store to do a box return. I checked in and sat down waiting for my turn. It has there are 3 people waiting along with me. I have been sitting in this store now for 30 minutes.. A woman "Jen" is standing around doing who knows what on an iPad while customers are waiting. I have only written two bad reviews in my life for any one. This is the second one. In my retail experience, if customers are waiting IN the store you shouldn't be standing around holding an iPad literally not helping anyone. I hope she isn't a manager, this is a piss poor example for leadership. Maybe this is why Comcast has so many customer service issues? Lead by example. Since I started writing this, 3 more people have walked in and it appears that "Jens" only roll at this store is to tell people how to use the check in iPad at the front that already has directions on it. 4th person just walked in "Jen went in the back. 2 reps are now servicing a store full of customers while Jen walks around with an iPad. Now she went into her corner office and sat down, with the store full. This is insanity!!! She is sitting in her glass office, doing nothing to help expedite customers. I went to this xfinity store because it was the closest possible one to my home; however, from now on, I will be making the longer trip to a different location. While I was there, I saw a customer service representative throw a fit at a customer. He was clearly not listening to what she was asking for, stomped off and shook his head several times (body language was awful). She then asked to speak to the manager. While she was speaking to the manager, the sales representative stood behind the manager and continued shaking his head, rolling his eyes, and making overall "uninterested" body language towards the woman. The woman politely asked him if he could go help other customers, because his behavior was continuing to effect her experience and escalating the situation and that the manager was now helping her. The sales representative walked away and called her a C***. The manager did not even address the situation, and simply looked at the sales representative and then continued to look at his computer. I stood there in disbelief. I could not believe that a MANAGER of a store would allow his customer to be spoken to like that and/or allow his sales representative to continue helping customers on the floor. I am completely appalled by this behavior and am hoping that the manager chose not to make a scene but addressed this sales' representative's behavior with him after his shift. If he was my employee, he would have been fired on the spot for language like that IN FRONT OF and AT A customer. Very disappointed in Xfinity's behavior and reaction to this situation. read more

The TVs are not on to show where you are at in the list. During my 30 minute wait the four employees have helped 5 customers. Managers are sitting around not helping anyone. Ridiculous. Xfinity has horrible service. The employees are fine, it's Xfinity itself both the Woodbury store and the Roseville store. The wait time is way too long for a party that charges you an arm and a leg for their service! We had to such out a DVR box because after a month it suddenly stopped working. Waiting at both stores was over 30 minutes. There are 10 customer service desks yet only 3are staffed. You'd think they could hire more people with the money they make of their customers. I had a wonderful experience here for what seemed a complicated visit with a lot of changes and requests. The purpose was to change a modem and 3 cable boxes exchanging another one with a cable card and activating a senior discount. I highly recommend Collin who helped us all was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. His anwers to the multiple questions of 3 people (including my senior dad who's not very techy) were right on point and with. Overall a very gracious character with the added touch of walking us to the door carrying a big bag with the equipment. Just about every employee there has no clue what they're talking about unless it's to get you to open your wallet a little further. Was told that the Roku project was scrapped and that there would be no app coming to the Roku for streaming live tv. Not even a week later the app is making the rounds in the news feeds. Inquired about cloud dvr and was told that the guy just had to send an email and it would be added to my account. Went in a week later and was told by another employee that my equipment wasn't eligible because of a promotion I was on and I would have to wait until June or drop the promotion. I did nothing and a few weeks later, I all of a sudden have cloud dvr. My oh my how I wish someone would come into the area to actually give Comcast some competition! read more

I just went to watch my HBO and it wasn't there. Called in to see what the issue was and found out the sales person before when I called changed my package WITHOUT my approval. The rep tonight said he should have told me and he couldn't do anything to help but he could sell me HBO. I told him I shouldn't have to pay for something that was promised to me. Stopped in trying to get a bundle to keep my service with them and cut Dish. Well, long story short. Guys was stubborn on selling me a package that we clearly told him we weren't interested in. Then when we where trying to get another deal he was just not offering many options. We only had one other options. And the second option didn't even offer DVR service. The worst part is that he seemed like he didn't care to keep up as customers. He also wasn't very warm and friendly. I like to be treated like we are your number one priority at your job.
