This is pretty typical for Verizon, you never answer your phone calls nor return emails or voicemails. I left you a voicemail including my landline number. Which you never responded to. Pretty typical... And my husband also called and left a message with no response from you, again very typical! I've gone to the atternity general, bbb, yelp and news stations. Reporting the mistreatment and horrible customer service from Verizon. And I'll keep going and reporting Verizon. I also have my own atternity who will be addressing this case as well. I'm not going to stop! I'll keep reporting Verizon to anyone and everyone! Getting the word out on how awful Verizon is! This will get dealt with and addressed one way or another! Complicated issue. Waited an hour. Couldn't book an appointment online. " got the most knowledgeable" person. Helped a tiny bit. Said I had the best plan. Couldn't do more. At home got customer service on line. Was great! Got plan for half the monthly price; explained other options. This store did NOTHING to advocate/ help me. read more

If you can avoid going to this store go anywhere else. The salesmen here, while friendly, are incredibly dishonest. One of the guys came by and grabbed the tablet and changed my phone plan without permission and caused a very inconvenient phone call with customer service to get that plan back. What was supposed to be a free upgrade and free watch for my boyfriend ended up being a $450 endeavor with all the bull**** up charges and fees. The monthly service was only supposed to go up $7.50 according to the salesman ended up costing an extra $35 a month for the watch alone. I understand that is how they make money, but it is robbery. I was out of town on a business trip to the Twin Cities. My Sim card blew up. Being a 10 year plus iPhone user I was stunned to see Sim Card error message. What to do??? Thankfully I had a super support person in Michael. He did a great job of finding my account, getting a new Sim card installed, rebooted my phone and got me going again in an hour. Terrible experience. Pushed into a business account by_____ to "Try out the service" I was looking for. Never worked, turned in the equipment and tried to work with the business manager to resolve my issues. She never helped at all. Just exuses, stalling, several vacation, and sick days. I have paid over $250 for services that never were. I cancelled the account and begrudgingly paid the unearned balance to end the fiasco. Now I find that the account was never canceled and I am on the hook for addition months of service that never was. I was even was prompted when I ended the service to provide feedback about my issues, which I did, but the account was not cancelled and two more months of fees and a ding on my credit has me so angry. Good bye Verizon. You are truly the worst. read more

I returned a phone at the store and was charged for a phone Verizon is saying they never received! Verison does NOT have a customer service number, so you can speak with someone. You can either go into a Verizon store or use their chat feature. The chat feature takes for some reason a couple of hours due to long waiting periods in between each sentence. I think it's unheard of that a cell phone company does not provide a number to call and speak to a live person at all. This is the worst part, I ordered a product through their website and immediately returned it the same day I received it. I shipped the product on the 29th of December 2024 and received confirmation that they received it on the 5th of January. I was told I would have to wait until the 18th of January 2025 to receive a refund. I called today due to never receiving a refund and again spent an additional 2 hours using their chat feature with the end result that I would need to wait another 5 to 7 business days. I think it's uncomprehensible that a company that has received their product back does not issue a refund until a month later. I also ordered a different product in October and canceled it before they shipped it to me. I found out that this month, they are telling me that I never returned the product. I don't understand how I can return a product that I canceled and never received. I now need to go to the Verizon store to talk to someone. It needs to be noted that I have spent at least 10 hours on their chat ​ trying to deal with these two issues. My bill is showing that I need to pay for a phone that they never shipped and that I canceled before they shipped it to me. I still have not been reimbursed for over $600 for a product that they have had for the last 19 days in their possession. If anyone is thinking about using Verizon services, I will tell you to absolutely do not use their services. Make sure you keep receipts of everything, including transcripts of your chat conversations. They will tell you they will note your account. However, that never happened for the seven hours long chat interactions for me. I was not given transcripts for the last chat conversation. I requested an email from the chat agent to give me a copy of the refund, they requested my email information to send it, however, I never received that either. Take snapshots of all your chats because today, the agent refused to send me anything after I requested it. The reviews are horrible everywhere. Verizon is not the company it used to be. They must have been bought out years ago, and I'm a fool for not reading the reviews beforehand. Don't make the same mistake I did. ​ read more

I arrived at the store and said hello to the guy at the door. Wandered around for 20 minutes and finally asked for help. I was suppossed to 'sign-in' when I arrived. Would have been great if the smiling doofus at he door said something. 40 minutes later: after watching 3 groups finish up their purchases (all of whom arrived after me) I was finally paired with an employee. I explained what I wanted to do 3 times - pay off an existing phone and purchase, outright, a new one. He kept trying to sell me something that would raise my bill by 5$. "What" I ask, "It should be lowered because I want to pay off one of the phones and not finance the new one...". "Oh, ok. We're sold out of the phone you want". Verizon sucks! Customer service at its worse.

I am a salesperson. I get it- you're on a quota and your job is to sell your wares to customers. I can get on board with that. That said, I have left this store on two occasions now feeling like their sales teams are being deceitful and borderline smarmy, and I'm over it. A woman by the name of Bea (I think) is the biggest offender. The most recent visit- I was trying to add a new iPhone 8 to our account. Note- we have 6 total devices with Verizon and have been very good customers for over 4 years. After being told they have two iPhone 8's in stock- I was subsequently told that they have none. I said- that's fine- I'll try another Verizon store - need the phone for my daughter's birthday present. She then proceeded to try to upsell me to an iPhone X. She told me it's just $4 additional dollars (she said it like- "m'am, cmon- that's essentially the price for a pack of gum). She intentionally left off a critical piece of information ... that it is indeed NOT just $4 - but rather an additional $4/month over 24 months. She then told me that no other Verizon store has iPhone 8's in stock (meaning - don't leave- buy the iPhone X here). Here is what happened next. I left this location with the goal of taking my business (& her commission) elsewhere. I went to Verizon at Rosedale and bought an iPhone 8, just like I had planned. The first thing the clerk did was to thank me for our many years of service. He was very honest with me on all the costs, and took time to walk me through everything before I left. Verizon Woodbury: don't assume you're smarter salespeople than the customers who walk through the door. We may not know as much about phones, but we can do math. We can also see through your Sales 101 tactics. You left me very seriously thinking of moving all my business away from Verizon that day. Frustrating experience. read more

Went in for a sim card to activate my new iPad online. Rep wouldnt give me one, he said he had to activate it in store. I didnt have the ipad with me so that wasnt possible. I told him I can activate it myself later online or by calling customer service, and that i just need a sim to do so. He told me he couldn't do that. Back story, I worked in operations for verizon for 8 years in a different city up until 6 months ago. He not only could have given me a sim card and didn't, he was only refusing to give me one so that he could get free-bee points towards his comission. He was after a lay-up new activation. Verizon coorporate stores are notorious for having terrible customer service, and here is another example. It's no wonder corporate locations are closing down and being taken over by the retail channel nation wide. This is the last time I'll ever walk into a coorporate location for anything ever again. Online or an authorized retailer the only way to go. read more

Worst customer service ever. We had an appointment at 6pm, and when we got the lobby at 6pm sharp no one greeted us. We continued to peruse through the store hoping to be greeted, but no one approached us. After waiting 35 mintues, finally one of the workers asked if we have been helped. He then proceeded to relay us to his other colleague who is still working with another customer. While we waited for this said colleague to finish up with her clients, he went to touch his phone and didn't even attempt to help us. Extremely rude. Will never recommend this place to anyone! read more

The Verizon location in Woodbury in The Tamarack Village is dishonest and very unprofessional with their customers. I went in to return an iPhone 12 that was free with sign up and paid their $50 re-stocking fee and then proceeded to upgrade for an iPhone trade-in deal. That was at 11:00 am and was put in their Queue to wait. The manager told me they were understaffed that day and that it would most likely be an hour wait. At 12:50 I was finally called and was helped by a Verizon representative named Michael. The guy was really friendly at first and even made small talk with me about his hobbies, then after declining several upsells it was like dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I don't know if they make more of a commission off these smaller upsells but, he used a lot of manipulative and lying tactics to sell me crap I didn't need or want. At the end of this rather precurious and unsettling transaction he tried to force me into financing $274 which was The leftover remaining amount after trade-in, I told him I wanted to pay it out right to which she told me that cannot be done. I asked him why I couldn't just pay for the rest of the phone minus the trade-in value which was $800 for my old device and $200 plus $74 in taxes and he said the "promotions" change day to day and it just so happened that today you had to finance the additional difference. I asked him to speak with his manager about this in which he left and while leaving said "if you continue to be rude I'm going to have to ask you to leave". I was speechless. I didn't say anything and just pretended it wasn't said. When he came back he said that he confirmed I needed to in fact finance the additional $274 dollars. It just so happened that his manager was passing us and she stopped briefly to check on the transaction I asked her myself about paying the 274 upfront and she said that was fine! So Michael lied to me about this, that's lie #1. He then told me I needed phone coverage from Verizon because Apple doesn't pay for accidental damage or stolen iPhones with Apple Care Plus. Our family has five iPhones and a several other Apple products so I'm familiar with what is covered. I told him that Apple does in fact repair and/or replace a damaged iPhone and with Apple Care Plus (Apple's top-tier warranty service) they will replace a stolen iPhone. So, I declined Verizons Insurance protection, that was lie #2. I also had to upgrade one of my lines to their "Premium" service in order to get this trade in deal which was fine, it was an additional $10 a month for that. Then as his last finale Michael decides to try and upsell their cases and screen protectors to me. He tells me I can save 30% off if I purchase these from his store. I happily declined as I had already purchased them. I finally left the store at 2:15 pm over 3 hours. Honestly I've never been dealt with such distain, I can understand needing to sell your products I can even understand pushing a little bit harder during these times in our Country however, Verizon is a top cellular provider and is known nation wide, I would expect better service than stooping down to flat out lies to upsell their customers. Shame on you Verizon at the tamarack Village, MN location. read more

I had a great experience here! I knew It was time for a new phone but dreaded the process- I wasn't planning on using the Woodbury Store, but had just finished shopping at Target next door. The parking lot was empty so I went in. The store person was stocking and I mentioned for him to keep going as I would wait and his reply was, "no, l can stock anytime, how can I help you?" That one phrase and gesture set the entire tone for a great experience. I left (painlessly) thirty minutes later with my new phone totally up and running (I'm loving it), only the extras I absolutely needed, complete instructions and all the information I needed if I should require further assistance. Jason B was my salesperson and I highly recommend you pick a day when he's on. Sales, customer service and no hassle-it's what he does and he's good at it. I hope Verizon is aware of what an asset he is. And to think, I had been dreading that trip! read more

My wife and I went in for a simple screen protector and were told by a representative that she could lower our monthly bill because our plans were messed up and we would both get new phones for less money. We were told we would pay $600 total for the day and walk out with 2 new iPhones, a monthly payment of $256 (down from the $300 we currently pay) and also with a new iPad which was "included" in the new $256 monthly payment. Long story short and 2.5 hours later- they wanted us to pay $1000 and continue with monthly payments of $300. Also, she tried to be sneaky and throw in two "hum" programs and that it was "all included in the $256 monthly payment"...come to find out it would add $20 to our bill each month. AND don't let them try to con you into getting an iPad with your phone because it's "included". No, it's still an additional 200+ dollars up front. The managers at this location are knowledgeable and respectful - but the sales employees are questionable. read more

So - they can help me when it comes to taking my money. But when it comes time to fix errors, they suddenly are unable to do anything? Yes, Verizon is expensive. However, I love this location. They surprisingly have not been busy anytime I've been here, and are very helpful. They promote more sales of their products, but are not super pushy. It's very clean, parking lot isn't too bad, and you usually get service in under 5 minutes. Their typically very honest about things as well, which is much appreciated for a young couple with not a ton of flexible spending money. I find this location is much friendlier than the rest. read more

We've been Verizon customers for about 3 years. I've been coming to the Woodbury/ CityPlace store for the entire time and always received fair and excellent service. Well, until tonight. I came in with an issue regarding cellular connectivity for a phone and was told good information regarding the problem and asked to have a seat and wait. However, not 5 minutes after I sat down, a gentleman walked in and explained his problem. The person who treated him immediately began working on fixing his issue despite the customer Saying he didn't want to jump in front if anyone. The employee looked around and said "eh, don't worry about it." I take issue with that and would request that customers be helped in the order they come in the store. read more

Went is to get a new phone for the wife, Salesperson was more interested selling us more stuff and not really knowing the product and when we did agree to by a jet pack along with the phone come to find out that had all ready been used by another customer and it was not properly set-up so it locked up and doesn't work, My wife spent another hour at the store with still a device that unusable. I went to Verizon in Woodbury to have them transfer the info from one phone to the other the customer service person said they don't do this as a service anymore instead he spent 15 mins.. getting me the info on how to do it. 4 people working in the store with nothing to do. Horrible service. We went in to get an iPhone for my mom for Christmas, they told us they had a deal where if you get an iPhone X you get an iPhone 8 free. We decided to do the deal, spent 1.5 hours there, picked out the colors and cases, signed a contract to open a new line, and then they tell us that the deal is actually only for two iPhone 8s. The representative (Bia) was not even very apologetic, even though they misrepresented us twice (originally telling us we could get 256 GB phones free, not true, only the 64 GB), she lied to us about when the deal was ending as well to pressure us to go through with it. It was a horrible experience and they didn't even try to rectify the issue other than waiving activation fees. They said they couldn't honor the deal despite us signing contracts with them. We will be reporting this issue to the Better Business Bureau. Do not trust what they say! Will be switching service providers as soon as possible. read more
