When the building obtained service through another carrier it included internet so I canceled my Xfinity service. Xfinity sent me a bill for $201.25 for a cancellation fee. Cancellation fee? I never signed a contract or agreed to a contract. Now, since I have not paid that fee they sent the amount due to collections and it dropped my credit score by 38 points. This company takes advance of people. Has everyone else experienced this with Xfinity as I am considering speaking to an attorney regarding filling a class action lawsuit.

The guys at the store were invaluable and nice. However, we received a free line several months…read moreago, signed up for it, and got a phone number for it. The deal was that it was free, and we could reserve it and use it whenever we got another phone or device. We had a member of our extended family who had been on our account for a number of years and wanted their own account, so we removed two lines. We were never told, by the corporate office (not the T-Mobile store), that we had to continue with our exact plan and the same number of lines, and we started getting charged for our "Free" line. We went back to the store, and they said that they could "grandfather" us in for the free line. Lo and behold, we were charged for the line after this change, even though we were told by the guys at the store that they would grandfather us in -- apparently, corporate overrides the store level. We have six phone lines, one watch, and one tablet, so we already pay a good amount of money, and we've been with T-Mobile/Sprint for well over 20 years. We were going to use the extra line for our youngest child to get a phone later this year. Needless to say, they would not go back to their original word and said they would continue to charge for the line, so we ended up cancelling the "Free" line since we won't be getting another phone for 6 more months. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. We pay $6000+/year for our T-Mobile services and devices -- nothing but cellular, no home internet or anything else. We rarely upgrade our phones and such, so we don't have ongoing leases often. We expect that when we are told something by an associate of the company, especially a manager, that person's word will be upheld. Not sure where to go from here, but seriously considering taking my $500+/monthly cell bill to another company and would welcome recommendations. I do want to reiterate that the folks at this T-Mobile location were fantastic, and I definitely recommend them.

We were requested to provide a new email address during installation. When we went to our email for the first time there were already lengthy disturbingly pornographic emails in our yet to be used account. (we had not given our address to anyone). These hurtful disgusting emails came on a daily basis for our then young teen to stomach. I phoned to explain the situation and asked for the email address to be deleted and replaced because the one we had was unusable. The assistant said it could not be deleted because it was the primary account. We solved the issue by setting up sub-accounts and never did get to use our main account. A few years later we were purchasing another property and phoned to enquire if U-Verse was available there. After several days of phoning and being switched to different departments and left holding on for hours we were told no it was not available. I went into my account online which had a record of large bill payments paid consistently on time and messaged if U-verse was available there. They said yes. Apart from that the U-verse internet functioned well.

I came to the Verizon location inside the wellington mall to upgrade my phone. When i walked in i…read moreknew exactly what i wanted (phone, case, screen protector). I was greeted by a young lady named Ashley who had just started at his store. She was very friendly and polite, listened to what i wanted and quickly went to find it. Unfortunately this store did not have the exact phone i wanted so she called around and found the phone at a store 45 mins south. She made a call to her significant other who works at the store that had the phone and asked him to bring it all the way up to this store just so i could get what i wanted. He did it without hesitation. AMAZING. After he arrived to hand deliver my phone ( with a smile non the less), she was happy to help me transfer everything over and get it all set up even though it was past closing time. She insisted it was ok and that she was happy to stay late to make sure it all went smoothly. She even installed my screen protector and phone case without me having to ask. I seriously cannot stress to Verizon AND this store how valuable an amazing employee Ashley is! All my aunt needed was to have someone attach her iPhone to her email account. I called them specifically so they could understand her needs because she is not technology savvy. After the customer service rep said she would not do it for security reasons (EVERY phone PURCHASE I have ever made sets up your email account-- is it not private then?) Then the manager, Lindsey, said she would do me this favor once, it took her less than 1 minute to attach the email account and be done. She made me feel like we inconvenienced her, her team, her store, her entire life really. Does no one recognize anymore that it is a good idea to treat elders with respect so hopefully someone will treat your elder with kindness and respect? Lindsey made sure to tell me that her SALES reps did not have the time to take care of stupid little things while on the SALES floor. They have admitted that they have a technical problem that needs to be solved and "are working on it". However, they refuse to stand behind their customer experience. I was and am unable to enjoy sports that I paid for because of their own technical difficulties but sling refuses a partial refund or credit. For $5 credit they could have had a supportive consumer and avoided this, but I tell everyone I know about this.
