Xfinity Mobile has been awesome for my family of 4! A huge savings over my former carrier (Verizon) as we pay for what we use rather than pay for a big data plan which we rarely use all of and then get charged extra on the one month we go over. I used to pay $220+ and now average $85 to $90! We recently had an issue with one of the phones and stopped into the Saratoga store where we met Clive. He was so knowledgeable about the phone & problem, they did a great job with Covid appropriate service which meant only one person from a family could go in. We needed to upgrade the phone, it was done well and all data transferred, Clive explained exactly what the issue was and how to best avoid it moving forward. Thanks Xfinity! read more

Don't take the negative reviews at all seriously! I visited the Saratoga store today and was greeted immediately and signed up for the next available service provider. We didn't even have a chance to sit down when we were called. Jay helped us with our service request and he was very knowledgable, efficient and had a great sense of humor. Came in this store on a Monday afternoon. There were about 15 people there waiting already. I was greeted, and welcomed in promptly and very nicely. I was checked in and was told that someone would call my name to be able to help me as soon as possible. I started browsing through the available phones in order to figure out which I wanted to be my upgraded phone. Although there was a lot of people in the store I liked that when I was almost up someone called my name making sure that I was still there and also to check in with me and let me know that there were 2 more people ahead of me. I was called by Fabian. He was very helpful, patient and very knowledgeable and informative. He helped me out to the fullest. I am so happy that I was helped by him today, he made the process very easy and streamlined. He explained simple things for me to make sure that I was fully prepared to operate my new phone. I needed to cancel the portion of our services that allowed us to stream local TV channels. It was impossible to do via the website, and I couldn't find a phone number, so I opted to go to the Xfinity store on Saratoga Ave. Chelsea was very professional, attentive, and courteous, and promptly canceled this portion of our services with Xfinity. She told me how much money I'd be saving and made recommendations should I decide to buy my own router rather than rent. I left delighted that my objectives had been met. read more

It's bewildering how there are so many 1 and 2 star reviews about this store. I come into a Xfinity store expecting to be treated like a customer just like everyone else. When I visit a Xfinity store my expectation is the staff is trained to be kind, courteous, helpful and on your side to help solve a particular issue you may have or set you up for service that you may need. I also have the expectation for staff to "up sell" services that may benefit in ways that may make their customers lives easier and have a better Comcast experience. But yes, I have had issues too... When it was pouring rain with high winds a few months ago and my cable & internet went out, Comcast came out and fixed everything! Even replacing the actual cable lines from my house that went out to the street! Not only for my house but our neighbors house(s) as well. (In the pouring rain, I might add) They've credited me for the days I had no cable/internet connection. I have been furnished replacement remotes, cables boxes, modems, etc.. when I bring in or send in my faulty ones in. **FYI - ALL Electronics degrade over time & will inevitably need replacing I have nothing but praise for this store and it's staff. I have experienced the same as every 4-5 star review listed here. Because of my expectations I have NEVER had a bad experience here. I have been a Comcast customer for decades (TV & Internet). I visited the store after first using XFinity app. I needed to cancel some of my add-on services, but the app kept coming back to a chatbot service (which couldn't resolve the problem). The service couldn't have been worse. The customer support agent first failed to communicate to me what was the problem (preventing them cancelling the service). After I requested clarification, she got just rude. I felt humiliated and nothing like a customer. Definetly the last time I purchased anything from this company. I can say without hesitation that Xfinity customer service is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They have made it virtually impossible to speak to a human being over the phone. You can't engage in any serious service request on their website. The Xifinity cable is alwasy going out, when you asked them they admit that their signal is bad, when we went in there to change it we went three before to change the plan, before they open the store, the manager (I guess the shift manger help us on the front, where they check you in) which was nice, - we had home phone, cable and internet, my husband had to try 3 modems and the home phone all or sudden stop working, even the cable guy came out and the first two didn't work, it turn out the the whoever the hubby talked to on the help line reset the modem, but when the cable guy called the help line they didn't' know to do that, he told us how much were are going to save pay, we are going to save, at least 100 dollars, and hubby signed up for auto pay, when he saw his bill it still had old billl of almost $300, so we went there on 08/30, Tuesday, there, the store manger Alfredo check us in and said 20 -25 minutes wait, and my hubby said, that like calling in, wait and he said "whatever" and he was flirting with a young girl who work there on the desk where he check people in, and kept moving thing around the counter, i guess he soen't hel with the line of people but toher managers do, it seemed like a lot people there were time wasters, except the one guy who helped us it helped 3 customers, and the guy who came in front, of us left read more

Just stopping by comcast to drop off old equipment today and can't believe how difficult it has been. I downloaded and installed this app just because this experience was so terrible! Apparently you cannot just stop by comcast and do anything without an appointment! Never seen any comcast place so busy as they were. There is no defined counter area or anyone to talk to because somehow everyone was already helping someone else and there was a line out the door. Finally found someone to help me but he just wanted to take my name and not my equipment I was just dropping off! I was told to take a seat and wait for the next available person to help me. Shouldn't need help other than to accept the package I was holding but can't do that without an appointment. And the seat I was supposed to take didn't exist and I just had to sit on the floor. Had to wait almost 15 minutes on the floor to have someone help me but once they were helping me they were able to accept the package and get me out the door in about 30 seconds... Overall this was the worst experience in any store except the Apple store...everything about the entire experience was terrible. I don't know why they can't help people with simple things. No one here wanted to do their own job and kept asking someone else to take care of whatever was needed. I don't know what there isn't to like about this location... Minions for sale? Kids games on iPads while you wait for your 'parents'? Every employee we talked to was extremely helpful and friendly. It took less than 15 minutes to open a new account and purchase our package deal. We tested the sales associate by asking her what the best pack was for what we wanted, though we already knew exactly what we wanted. She didn't try to BS us so that we would buy more than we needed, or try to lie about how fast our internet would *actually* be, and I will remember it for a while as the best customer experience that I've ever had. read more

I'll give credit where credit's due. I received exceptional service. It seems the store reps are given greater latitude to help a customer. I signed up for gigabit internet service at the new customer promo rate. While in the 30-day cancellation period, I decided to downgrade to a slower plan. In phone calls and online chats, the reps couldn't made the change. They said I'd have to cancel our plan, return the equipment, and sign up again. And they couldn't guarantee I'd get the new customer promo rate for the slower plan, since I was technically already a customer. Frustrated, I made an appointment with the store. When I arrived, I didn't wait long. The store rep immediately understood what I wanted to do, and made the change in the account in literally under one minute. read more

When i open a new Comcast account, the lady told us i can switch Xfinity Mobile in two days. Three months since, i am never able to get hold of Xfinity Mobile customer to link my phones to new Comcast account while old account being closed. The results are (1) extra $60 being charged for 3-phone lines (2) can not see my account status in both old and new account, including data usage, billing information, etc. When I called customer service, here are my experience: (1) I was told only second-line customer service agents have authority can help me, but I do not a luck to talk to any of them for three months... i guess it is more difficult to talk to them than talk to our President. Several times, the phone just gets disconnected while talking. (2) I went to store for helps. they told me they can help me: to pay off the phone first, then unlock the phone, then transfer the name. Five days after, I realized not only my request did not get granted but my credit card showed Xfinity Mobile charged me 3x as much money as I owned. So far, my problem still stays, no one from Xfinity mobile can help with my simple request, after talking to more than 20 agents. If i am able to give 0 raking to Xfinity mobile, I will. Never experience as bad service as Xfinity Mobile, period!!! read more

How could I get a Ref Code if it not Plugged in? She Said it Needs to be Programmed. After 45 Min She Said She Could Dispatch a Tech in 48hrs. Not Acceptable. Came here once to pick-up a self-install kit and again to drop-off our old kit. Both times didn't have to wait very long and they have these tvs that tell you where you are in the queue. The first time a super nice manager gave us back the same rate we paid last year and a discount on some of the random setup fees they charge you when you open a new account. I sort of wished we had to wait longer because they have a nice TV with new movies you can watch while you're waiting. The second time the employees took the remote to the TV so I couldn't watch How to Train your Dragon 2. Sad. read more

I like Comcast but the customer service reps in store need to get on the same page about what they know and what to tell customers. I went in about a month ago asking about running a wire from a main house to a backyard studio and one rep said yea no problem you just need to schedule it a couple weeks out because it can take a while for them to get to you, no problem. Come in to ask about it 2 weeks later and another rep says yes they are able to do it but you need to be in the studio before anything can happen. Okay no problem, couple weeks later I move in and go again to schedule for this service and now the service we need is no longer provided. I would have to hire my own contractor to do the service and then have Comcast come out to connect it. So within a month there was no notification by the first 2 reps about this and now the service is no longer done by techs anymore. read more

The door opened promptly when it was time. Out came Tyler, who was very unto taking good care of me. Honestly, I came in there to have them fix the problem I had, which was having two accounts. Tyler took care of the extra email addresses that were on my account. Tyler said that I needed to call Customer Service to fix my problem. Well, two people helped me with my issue about having two accounts. The second person came up with why the second account was linked to my first account. The answer to my problem was that the second account had the same account email as the first one. There was a link between the first account and the second one. Problem solved! read more

I don't usually have time to write reviews but I had to set aside some time to write this one. After moving to the area, I went to the Xfinity store on 1600 Saratoga Ave. to get internet service. The sales person offered to bundle Xfinity home security service with internet and convinced me to purchase the bundle. The monthly charge he quoted was very reasonable. I asked the sales person to confirm that there were no additional one-time charges which he did. The next day, I received an email from Xfinity which made me aware that there was an additional $800 equipment plus installation charge that was never mentioned when I signed up the day before. The $800 charge was going to add an additional $40 to my monthly bill until it was paid off completely. I needed the internet service right away and I thought the bundle was still a reasonable deal and decided not to cancel. The reason I am writing this review is not any of this but what happened next: Approximately 10 days after my initial visit, a technician installed the home security equipment in my home. Two days later, I received a notification from the Xfinity app that my initial bill was ready. To my surprise the amount of the bill was four times higher than what I was originally quoted by the sales person. To make matters worse, I could not see the details of the bill since, according to Xfinity, I needed a pass code which could only be mailed through regular mail and it would arrive in 5 to 8 days. I decided to head to the Xfinity store that sold me the bundle. The customer service representative logged into my account and claimed the reason for the high initial bill amount was a duplicate installation charge (of $100) that she would remove and also because she claimed "Xfinity sends bills only once in two months". Since I had been a Comcast/Xfinity customer for over 20 years and my bills always arrived once a month, this was a red flag for me. I asked whether she was sure or whether this was just for the initial bill. She confirmed that Xfinity has been billing once in two months for a long time. She printed my bill but failed to show me anything on the printed bill that showed it was for two months (I found out later that there was a date range in the bill that showed the longer period). I asked her to show me the duplicate installation charge but she could not point to such a line item either. During all this conversation she kept reprimanding me - like a teacher would reprimand a child - for looking at the paper bill. She kept asking me - in a very condescending manner- not to look at the bill but to look at her face . She wrote on a paper what she claimed to be the break-down of a monthly bill going forward. Having been quoted earlier bill amounts that differed greatly from what the Xfinity emails and apps were saying I wasn't going to take her word for it and wanted an explanation of the charges on the paper bill. I realized I wasn't going to get any real answer from this customer service representative when she asked me whether I knew math. As a science person who uses math regularly, I was quite offended and said I knew math much better than her. I told her she was very disrespectful; she did not have the right to treat me like a child and asked to talk to the manager in the store. She claimed to be the manager and that I was the one being disrespectful and asked me to leave the store. I went outside with another store employee who was a reasonable person. He told me that he was an assistant manager and the representative I was talking to inside the store was also an assistant manager and that the manager was away. I told him I had the right to talk to the manager after which he promised to ask the manager to call me when he returns. I am still waiting for the call. When I returned home, I called Xfinity customer service. The lady who answered the call was very professional and explained what was going on: There was no "duplicate installation charge" but there was a one-time charge for additional door and window sensors I had purchased during the installation. (Apparently, the $800 equipment and installation fee includes only 10 door/window sensors which is not enough for a typical single-family house). She confirmed that the Xfinity bills would come every month, not every two months and that only the first bill covered two months. I thanked the customer service representative immensely after finally getting a simple answer to my billing question. To Xfinity: One day before the store visit I got a text message from Xfinity to review the installation technician's work and I gave him 10 out of 10 in all categories because he was such a respectful and professional person (Thank You again Carlo). The day after the store visit I got a similar text message asking me to review the store and I gave it 0 out of 10. Beware! You are only as good as the employees and stores that represent you. read more
