My brother texts me and says he and his boys are going to X-Golf indoor golf simulator. Do you want to join? I said yes and brushed off the cobwebs from my golf bag and went to meet them in North Carmel. They have 6-8 large screens where you tee up a ball and swing away at a ball towards the screen. It's pretty realistic. You can play different courses under different weather conditions. The chipping and putting took a couple of holes to get used to. There is a full bar and good beer on tap choices which was fun. The woman who were running the place were very helpful and accommodating. I liked being able to sit and talk with the other golfers while we were golfing which is different when you play real golf. I liked it better than TopGolf because you played your whole game and it was indoors in a comfortable environment where you can have a beer. They have leagues and options to play with groups. Would be great for company outing. Strongly recommend. read more

Fun spot to play some golf and get out of the house in the colder months! There's about 6 lanes and it's plenty spacious if you have a group of people. Staff was friendly and helpful to get you set up and gave you a friendly reminder when your time was almost up. Drinks were reasonably priced and it looked like they had a few food items available as well. It was $60 for one hour on a Saturday night (with cheaper options at non prime time hours). They played los fun music and it was a really lively environment. We're going back in a week already because it was so fun! I think this spot is very cool, even for someone who does not golf! It's a very good combination of people just having fun and people who love to golf and wanting to play more in a different way. It can get very busy, very quickly since multiple people and groups can come in and claim a bay (think Topgolf but indoors on screens). The food here is great but it can take a long time to come out. The staff is very friendly and can do it all from assisting with simulators to bartending to serving food so please be patience and nice to them! read more

Stopped in today to see what this place was about. I'm pretty impressed. The place is small. However, they have 6 simulator bays, minimal seating, a mini bar and a small finger food type menu. Sara "no H" was very helpful. They did have a small pro shop area that was more of a counter in the back. Looked to be only Callaway brand. You have to bring your own clubs, otherwise you'll need to rent there's. Minimum play time is 1 hour. You can play 1/2hr increments afterwards. Up to 6 can play per bay and regardless how many are there, it's per hour bay rental. Ex: 4 players play for 4 hours, each person pays 1/4 of the bay rental = 1 hr. It's pretty good for a group. They have a PGA pro and offer scheduled lessons as well. So let's talk golf. I'm a 12-15 hdcp player. My drive is weak! I average about 240-250yds. The simulator displayed about 200. My other clubs seemed about 10-20% lower than normal as well. Still the trajectory is pretty accurate. You can practice on a driving range set up, it has popular courses like Pebble Beach, Bethpage, Bay Hill... programmed, you can play scrambles... it's pretty loaded with options. I played Bay Hill, shot a 91. Also played Pirates Cove which was like an adult sized putt putt course. Volcanos and everything in your way. Sara also checked in frequently and complimented my play speed and brought me a coke. Ended up shooting 83 on Pirates Cove. So how does it work? You press the yellow button (I used my club grip end). It dispenses a golf ball and tees it up for you. Use the arrows to raise or lower your tee height. Left center and right buttons adjust your aim. SWING! For woods, the tee automatically senses you're about 200yd out and lowers the tee to simulate the ball up on plush fairway grass. You can also roll the ball back on the darker grass and it's like hitting off the deck for iron shots. There's a back section for sand simulation that has some give to the grass to get under it. The small holes left and right of the tee is where you place the ball for putting. The screen is 15' away, use that for distance control. There's marks on the floor to line up your putt, it's pretty accurate. All in all, I had a great time and it will be a great way to continue playing throughout winter. I'm sure the food is great, the guys next to me got pizza and it looked and smelled DeeeLishhh! See pics below and if you have a few day or evening, go try it out. Would sure make a great date night too! Only improvement I'd say is maybe more space. It was pretty tight. Also the "pro shop" was less than impressive. read more

New Indoor Golf Simulator. We went last night to the new location. They have both food and adult beverages. The simulators were really great for those wanting to work on their game. There are 6 bays to choose from. There was no wait last night but I recommend making a reservation. The cost is a little high at $60 for one hour of play. We did not try the food as we had just went to dinner. My husband is an avid golfer and he said it was very true to play. The staff was very friendly. read more

Hubs went for a nice Fathers Day relaxation. Got there 1/2 early hostess was rude. Family came in, and Hostess immediately waited on them made hubs wait and 45 minutes later, 15 minutes after the time he was supposed to start, the hostess takes them to a broken bay after the person who left the bay before them told them the bay was broken. She would not move them to another bay, even though others left and there was room to move them. Ambiance is loud,crowded and tight. My husband felt if he was 3 shades lighter things may have been different. ‍ Back to Fishers to the "Top" we go. read more

I took my father-in-law and brother-in-law here to pass some time. We really enjoyed the simulator. We played pebble beach as a par 3 course and the game-play was great. Seemed accurate as far as shot data. Service was a bit scattered or inconsistent. But overall we had a great time especially during these times. read more
