I called and called and left voicemails.. no one called back. Silence! They became extremely soft, brittle, and bendy. At first, I thought maybe that was simply because I didn't get another set afterward like I normally do, so I decided to give the salon another chance. Unfortunately, I came back today for a pedicure, and the same technician shaved my big toenail down so far that it actually hurt. He looked up at me and said, "Oops," and then suggested putting acrylic over the nail that he had just damaged. Every product applied afterward was burning the nail, which was extremely uncomfortable. He was also very rough throughout the service and came across as rude. To make matters worse, when I went to the front desk afterward, I watched the employees go back and forth arguing about how much they were going to charge me. I was ultimately overcharged for a service I have had done there before. I was also charged for a random nail repair after I had specifically been told I would not be charged because the technician himself had broken/damaged the nail. I have spent a lot of money and time at this salon, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I should not have to pay extra because of damage caused during my service, nor should I leave a salon with painful, damaged nails. After today, I unfortunately will not be returning.

Of course my GPS just dropped me off in the middle of the mall, so you want to look for the Honeybee Boba tea place and it's right next to Fast Fix Jewelry. Luckily, Rehana herself picks up the phone and she directed me on where exactly to go. Parking is readily available at the mall. It's $18 only to get your eyebrows threaded and I was in and out with no appointment in less than 10 minutes. It's quick, easy, she listened to what I wanted and did it in a heartbeat. She has another location in Mesa and she's opening a new one in Queen Creek. This location has been around for four years. She also sells jewelry and clothes. You get a punchcard that you can use towards the discounted service. She is super sweet and was so nice to my kids who joined me for the occasion! I would definitely come back here and she comes highly recommended!

I've been coming here for almost 3 years and have always left happy...until this past Friday between 10-10:30 AM. There was only one lady working, an older woman with glasses. She was very kind, but unfortunately, this was the most painful threading session I've ever had. It felt like far too much hair was removed, and when she finished, she applied aloe without asking (something the other ladies usually do after checking if the customer wants it). When she handed me the mirror, I noticed my brows looked a little uneven, but since I was rushing to a doctor's appointment, I paid and left. Later, in better lighting, I was shocked. My brows were extremely thin...something I've never experienced here. I've always had naturally fuller brows, even though they've thinned slightly with age, and I take pride in keeping them that way. I honestly wanted to cry. I eventually called to share my concerns, and while no manager or owner was available, the girl who answered was very sweet and understanding. I explained what happened and suggested that the threaders be reminded to always confirm exactly what the customer wants...especially when someone asks for a simple clean-up. I know brows grow back, but this has been really upsetting, especially with an event I have next weekend. This is definitely a learning experience for me, and I just want to encourage others to be specific with their requests and, if possible, stick to a threader you trust for consistency.
