My, my, my. I had not been here since pre-Covid and what a difference a decade makes. They used to make one of my favorite beers, a cask-conditioned ale. They don't make such a thing any more. That's ok--I figured a hazy ipa would get me through the day. Hmm. It didn't . It wasn't a great beer. Laminated menus and sticky floors were the last straws telling me not to come back. read more

What's to say about a brewery surviving and thriving since 1988?! Smooth beer. Great nachos (two cheeses). Perfect burger. A lot of people do food and drinks well. People make the difference. Justin was knowledgeable, welcoming, and generous. But Alexa was the star of the night. In addition to offering recommendations and great service, we saw her discreetly and deftly handle a difficult customer with grace and professionalism that kept the incident from becoming a spectacle. read more

Not sure who the people are who's giving their place anything less than 4 stars, but those people are wrong lol. This place is delicious. The wings are amazing, super crispy and flavorful. Would order any day of the week. Fired pickles weren't the skinny ones that you get most places and as a pickle fan I was highly impressed. The bison burger was delicious, cooked just the way I asked which is rare. Beer selection is good and the cocktails were pretty good for a brewery. Ive gone here a handful of time and have never gotten good service, tonight was the last straw here. Really bad service by the bartenders, 3 people behind me got served before i was even acknowledged while standing at the front of the bar at the ordering area. So so so pleasantly surprised by Wynkoop Brewing. Visiting Denver & was looking for a close brewery, and Yelp helped me find this one. Location is extremely convenient, as it's in front of Union Station. I decided to sit outside (huuuuge outdoor seating area). The *only* downside, was that service was slow but considering we're still in a pandemic and all...I completely understood. Regardless, I ordered some Buffalo wings and a Roadie Grapefruit Radler. I absolutely loved the beer & the wings were hands down some of the best I've ever had. Totally blown away by both! Definitely recommend them. read more

Super fun and inviting open space with secret nooks to explore and pool tables galore! Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. What their G&T lacked, their house wines made up for, particularly the rosé. My company party was here and Wynkoop provided nutritious lean vegan proteins, delicious vegetables and decadent desserts. Lots of omnivore selections as well, something for everyone, but I am still drooling over their vegan chorizo ams vegan chocolate mousse. Above and beyond! read more

This was the place we stopped for dinner our first time driving through Denver and it had enough promise that we wanted to come back for this trip. The soup I had (chorizo tortilla) was absolutely incredible. I'm so glad I decided to ask what the soup of the day was and got a cup of it. My friend loved the salmon dish he had. I really liked the stout I had. My burger and all the other beers we had were okay to good, which evens out to a solid place to stop that I wouldn't say is a must-go. read more

This is my go to spot to bring visitors! You can always count on stellar food cooked perfectly. It's a proper establishment with a fun atmosphere and upscale ambiance. The service is always friendly and they make great recommendations. I love their burgers, pizza, and specialty dish's like Shepard pie or pork green chile. Stopped here for a lunch last week. I ordered the fish and chips with a salad. The fish were large and lightly fried. Salad had fresh greens and a good dressing. While at a Conference here, I did my usual venture to a local brewery. Wynkoop is the oldest brewery in Denver so I had to give it a try! I am so glad I did! First off the bartender, Kasey, was very attentive but he also made excellent recommendations and gave a little background. He told be to try Railway which is the oldest recipe and I would have missed out on this amazing beer! It was my favorite in the flight. He recommended the Trois Bien sandwich with the green chili sides. Wow! The sandwich had fried tomatoes, three cheeses on sourdough with a tomato agrodolce. I was actually sad I couldn't finish my sandwich. I will look forward to lunch tomorrow. The chili had veggie and meat options and I chose the pork! It was spicy and savory and delish. If you are here and want a great food and beer experience, I highly recommend!!! read more

Visiting Denver for the first time. My group decided on dinner here because it wasn't too crowded. Checked out yelped and decided to go with it. Solid 4 stars for food, ambiance, drink choices, and the fun game room upstairs. But I need to give an outstanding 10 stars to the staff. Robert was our waiter and was beyond excellent: amazing service, super kind, and checked in on us often. When we went upstairs after dinner, I realized I forgot something at our table. Nothing too important. And I thought it was gone since we left our table 15 minutes ago. Robert and the staff searched but to no avail at the time. We were there last night for the first time, food was amazing!! We ordered Bison burgers, fish and chips, shepherds pie, crispy fish tacos and lemon leche cake. We met out of town friends at Union Station and wanted to find a spot nearby for lunch. Wynkoop fit the bill. We were greeted and seated outside in a jiffy. Our server Savannah was FANTASTIC! She gave great suggestions and was an absolute delight. We ordered a variety of yummy eats. Everyone was thrilled with their choices. Tacos, burgers, pretzels, mac and cheese... Everything was fresh and tasty. Our friends had to jet off to Red Rocks for a concert, so we ordered another round of beer and headed upstairs. They have Golden Tee!! Something we can never find in our SoCal town. We hung out for a couple of hours. Everyone was great, beers cold and atmosphere lively. We will definitely be back the next time we visit. I've been here for drinks twice now and both times was underwhelmed. Based on all of the positive reviews I thought my first visit was just a fluke so gave them a shot again while in town. The first visit we sat at the downstairs bar so this time we tried going upstairs. We have not tried the food but all of the beers were just average. Beers go alright and the service is good. They gave me a free taster for a beer I didn't ask for which was awesome! The sour is cucumber flavoured. It's weird. But if that sounds like your thing then give it a go. I was hoping to try the lagers but they're apparently so popular they were completely out. Atmosphere is nice and they enforce social distancing with spaced out tables which is good to see. Will definitely head back to try our those lagers! read more

Our bartender, Savannah was amazing! It was our first time in Denver, CO and our first stop, she was so warm and welcoming-- gave us some cool suggestions on hikes and neighborhoods to check out. The feel of the brewery is really chill and laidback, they have pool tables and foosball tables on the second floor. Restrooms were clean and accessible. Food is pretty good and had a decent portion to them. We ordered a brunch burrito to share that was filling enough for the 2.5 beers we had at this wonderful establishment. Tasty brews, their triple play sour was bomb and we got a growler to go! Not a stout person but the resident stout they had on tap is something i definitely would buy again and drink happily! Decided after work to head to Wynkoop Brewing because we were to lazy to cook last night. With no Rockies game it made it a lot easier to find parking instead of taking the train downtown. We walked in and we're greeted promptly and taken to our table. Within the first minute our waitress greeted us and wanted to let us know she was our waitress and would be right back to take our drink order. When she came back she took our drink order and asked if we wanted to order any appetizers. It was between the cheese fritters or spinach artichoke dip. We couldn't decide and the waitress leaned us towards the spinach artichoke dip and it was very good. My dining companion had the fish and chips and he would definitely order it again. I had the BBQ ribs and they were good and not much fat on them. I would say when we return I will lean towards ordering the adult max n cheese. All in all a good meal and great service. read more
