I decided that during the COVID pandemic that I wanted to purchase a bicycle. Being from the area I wanted to give a small local business my money. Not having ridden a bike in a few years, I took to the internet and found which mountain bike would be good for a beginner. I emailed Wyckoff Cycle, explained what I was looking for and a price point I felt comfortable at. I was emailed back with 3 options of bikes that they said would be good for what I was looking to do and all were less than the top of my budget. Low and behold, the bike I had been researching for about a week was one of the options! The next day I was contacted by phone and they went over some common accessories which I also purchased (still under budget) arranged payment and picked up the assembled bike about 2 hours later. Rode it home about 8 miles with no issues! Very easy bunch to work with.

    Someone got a new bike!

We had nothing but a good experience coming to Wyckoff Cycle. It was time to get my wife a bike. She hasn't purchased one since she was a kid, so we needed expert advice. We needed something economical and easy. We had first gone to a big box store, thinking that would be the easiest route. No one wanted to help us and we left disappointed. Living in the area, we stopped in to Wyckoff Cycle looking for help. We told Mike exactly what we were looking for. He was super helpful and patient, answering all of our questions. He asked us questions to help determine just the right bike for my wife. We bought the bike, Mike prepped it, and we were on our way. By the time we got home, the back tire had gone completely flat. I called Mike back up, and he said to bring it right back. He took a look at the tire and saw it was defective. He swapped the tire and we were back in business. He made the whole thing completely painless. Not only will I be bringing this bike back for regular service, I'll be bringing my other bike here from now on. It's great to see a business that really cares about its customers and the products it sells.

I have received an initial text from someone who signs it "Nick T". My bike has a broken front fork which needs to be replaced. Since then, I've been texting this guy in good faith and trying to accommodate his time frame, and his (in)ability to find a replacement fork. I've done everything he's asked of me, but I have received nothing but words on a text from him. he can't find a decent replacement for work??? Apparently he's in the wrong business! What a runaround sham. Do not waste your time! Do not expect service or consideration! There are a lot of other vendors, who are willing and able to do repairs, and or sell you a good bike. Stay away from this place where you would waste a lot of time. STAY AWAY. CONTACT A REAL BICYCLE REPAIR AND SALES BUSINESS. PLENTY OUT THERE!

He is very good at repairs and won't give you and crap like most commercial shops will. The only problem is his hours, he's only open one day a week and sometimes he's not even there. The last to times I was there he wasn't in even though it said open. He is very apologetic when this happens so that makes up for the fact. I think it's better to go to a place run by someone who lives what they do then to go to a typical bike shop.
