His specific assessment was to perform a Apicoectomy on Tooth #12 to remove foreign debris that was discovered during his analyses. 3. The surgery was scheduled the following week, and the procedure was a success with no discomfort. My experience with Dr. Simons revealed to me that he is an authority in his profession and extremely passionate in his practice. My general dentist referred me to Dr. Simons and I'm extremely pleased. He has performed both routine and complex root canals for me and I have never encountered a dentist who is more passionate about his specialty and the well-being of his patients. Regardless of the course of action, he always thoroughly explains procedures and clearly defines my options and his recommendations. He is always thinking ahead to ensure improved outcomes. His knowledge is impressive and he's exceedingly skilled. He continually informs his patients of progress and results throughout the procedure. Dr. Simons to the rescue! I can't say enough about how awesome our treatment was when my daughter went in for her broken tooth. We were told by her primary that the tooth just wasn't going to be salvageable. I was also worried about the cost of this fiasco and wondered how I was going to pull it off but I had to get my daughter out of pain. Still being hopeful, I called Dr. Simons office and emailed him our x-rays. He then requested us to come in to further evaluate it, and he thought that maybe he could save her tooth. Low and behold, he did it!! Not to mention her pain was gone that same day (she had been crying in pain for 2 days prior)! Further, his office staff was so helpful and even helped me discover how to apply for care credit. This helped to cover the out of pocket costs so I had one less thing to worry about. He even called to check on my daughter that same night. This I loved because I'm an RN by profession and this speaks volumes to me on how important his patient care is to him as a dedicated professional. Absolutely the best Dentist in town.! He gets one million stars from me. Dr. Simmons was kind, patient, and very concerned with my discomfort and fixing my dental emergency promptly. The staff was outstanding and got me in right away to be seen by Dr. Simmons. He is very dedicated to his craft and patient experience. Dr. Simmons also takes time with you to show you your xrays and point out the areas of concern. The equipment in the office is high tech state of the art. The office feels as if it is inside of the Ritz Carlton ..they even play calm classical music. I totally forgot I was in the Dentist office! I stopped by Dr. Simon's office to check on an appointment and was greeted by Stella. She was very nice offered to schedule an appointment, check my insurance, and followed up with expected costs. When I arrived at for my appointment, Dr. Simons promptly came out to greet me, asked me several questions, and said that he could help diagnose the issue and solve my issues. Treatment was determined and he immediately set out to solve the problem. His team was professional and Dr. Simons has an incredible way of helping one to feel calm, confident in his skills, and worked quickly and professionally. I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure and my pain and issues were resolved. I have had excruciating root canals with other doctors. This was not the case with Dr. Simons. Dr. Simons is awesome! I was referred to him by my dentist (when I lived in San Clemente) after learning that I would need a root canal done. I was very nervous about the whole thing, especially since this was the first time and always heard how painful it was. His staff was very kind and his office is really serene. Dr. Simons noticed my anxiety and assured me that everything would be okay. He explained step by step what was going to be done. He checked in during the procedure, asking "how are you doing? Doing okay? Here's what's gonna happen next." Here was the unexpected part: you see everything he's doing on a small screen above you! I've had some major work performed by doctor Simons twice now. I can't really say enough good about him and his staff. From the time I entered his office until my major work was completed (Three Root Canals and some major restoration work) I felt comfortable and in the care of a very professional team. His work is exceptional, not really a dentist but what I would call a "dental artist". He also manages to keep you both comfortable and well informed throughout the procedure. I did have to spend a lot of money, but considering the work done and the quality of care, I think it was money well spent and probably much less than I would have paid elsewhere. Dr. Simons did spectacular work with my infected tooth and gums. He operated on me by making a root-canal on a front tooth and a complete elimination of a gigantic tooth cystic. And if that was not enough, he finished by covering my tooth with a special material that left my tooth like it was brand new. Nothing less than! AWESOME! Beginning to end. I learned that I had this infection for approximately 45-50 years unknown to me. I always have taken care of my oral cavity but still did not know about it until it bursts. I was sent to Dr. Simons by racomendation from my dentist of 30 years Dr. Dapper. The visit for my root canal ( a complicated one - because we were saving a double bridge ) was unbelievable. He took away all my fear and discomfort the minute i walked into his office and set down in the chair. He explained everything he was doing as the preciousr went on. I had a root canal on a molar performed by Dr. Simons several days ago and I'm very happy with the results. He is quite skilled and precise. He works smoothly and quickly but not rushed. Wow. Superbly impressed with Dr. Simons and his staff. I needed a root canal on one of my front two teeth (which is actually a crown). Not only did I need a root canal, but I had a bad infection in my face above the root as well that needed some serious attention. My face was painful and swelling up. I had two visits with Dr. Simons. From the minute you walk through the door, you feel like you are home. Everyone is super friendly. The atmosphere is profession but laid back. That is the first thing you will notice. The other thing is Dr. Simons complete attention to detail, and perfection. I went to see Dr. Simons for a problem and his equipment and his office treated me in a very professional and welcoming manner. He spend lots of time reviewing the different problems and what should be done. It was just a perfect diagnosis and no quick action. I am to monitor the problem and call if it gets worse. This advice is good because the source of the problem was not immediately determined and time will give a better indication and may the solution much better.
