Terrible experience here. They are in my network so I went to them for the first time because my insurance changed recently. The doctor tried to up charge me for a regular clanging visit with a "scaling procedure". When I said no thank you he then said he couldn't clean my teeth at all unless I purchased it. A complete waste of time and I was not told this when I booked my appointment over the phone. Very frustrating. 0/10 recommend. Complete cash scam just trying to get $$$. The fact that he wouldn't clean my teeth like my appointment was for was absurd. Save your time and go anywhere else Edited to add- that's because my maiden last name is on my yelp Doctor. I'll call you tomorrow to make sure you have record so I can jog your memory about the conversation and the day I had to leave your office without a cleaning since I turned down your "scaling" procedure. I also have my records of my x rays that's your office took and emailed me since I had to change dentists attached below as proof. Horrible experience. The dentist was recommending me to get Arestin (antibiotic treatment to gums) for a deep cleaning and I trusted him when he told me it is pregnancy safe. I found out it is NOT pregnancy safe and it states on the drugs website that it can permanently yellow or grey the baby's teeth and cause skeletal deformity to the fetus. Thank god I looked it up right before he was about to preform the service or else I could have permanently effected my baby. I told Dr. Amir I did not feel comfortable and he was annoyed. After telling him it was not safe, he persisted to tell me it was usually safe but if I'm not comfortable that's okay. He gave me a routine cleaning which took 15 minutes, stabbed my gums over and over, rushing to finish quickly. I was gurgling on blood and fighting back tears. On my way out he had the nerve to ask to schedule the antibiotic treatment for after I gave birth, which I declined, got in my car horrified to notice blood all over my face. Was willing to ruin someone's life for an additional $100. This dentist should be ashamed- don't go here. read more

I like how the doctor does my cleaning! I came to him after I had a horrible experience with another dentist that said I had various cavities that they wanted to fill. I came to him for another opinion and he was so nice and honest saying that I didn't need extra cavity treatment. Any concerns I have about pain he addressed promptly. I know I have gum issues so I appreciate that he takes the time to pay attention to that. I also really appreciate how he and his office didn't discriminate against me for my lower insurance when I first came to him for help. I just recently upgraded to the highest insurance incase, but regardless he was always nice and never made me feel bad for having the lowest tier of insurance coverage. read more

I've been in pain for months since visiting Artistic Dentistry.. I came in for a cleaning, that was fine, had a couple cavities that needed filling and this went horribly. It's been over 3 Months and I'm still in horrible pain, I can't drink anything cold, my teeth feel so weak they could shatter. I always had good strong teeth and zero pain or problems before visiting here, never had any issues with other dentists. The staff was friendly and so was the doctor but he was super pushy about having me leave positive reviews on both yelp AND google, I hadn't even gotten out of the chair and I was still numb it felt extremely pressured and I think most positive reviews are likely from this tactic. I hate to leave a bad review but this place just rubbed me the wrong way, equipment seems very old, yellow and outdated, I should've gone with my gut and went somewhere else. I feel like my teeth are ruined now, I feel like my teeth are likely going to hurt forever and never be strong again. This was the first dentist I've ever been to who talked poorly about my teeth, I have great teeth and have always been compliments on them by dentists. Again I never had any dental issues until I visited Artistic Dentistry. Please beware, I will never be back, do your research and go somewhere else. read more
