Dr. Johnson gave us very calm and immediate advice and recommendations as to what to do and not to do. He was AMAZING!!!!!!! And was willing to go to his office to care for our injured player. DR. Here are the details; I was driving home from a 5 day road trip. While driving down from the Tejon Pass, I started eating a protein bar with nuts. I bit down on something hard. When I looked at it, it looked like a nut shell. I thought no more about it. I took a break and stopped for a walk while I charged my car, tossing out my trash (which included what turned out to be a dental crown--not a nut shell :-( About 30 miles down the road, I took a drink of water, and realized I had a dental problem. I was concerned because it was a Wednesday--I didn't want to have to get through 4-5 days (including a weekend)...with a tooth root that was very sensitive. I called Dr. Redmond's office at about 9:30 am as I headed for home. Brenda (her receptionist) said the doctor was fully booked into next week, but that she would see if Dr. Erini could somehow work me in. I got a call back in about 15 minutes. Dr. Erini and her assistant were willing to work thru their lunch hour to get my tooth cleaned up and also put in a temporary crown. Gratefully, I said I could be there, for sure! Later in the day, I was out of the office, with a healed mouth and temporary crown just before 2:00 pm!!! I simply need to return next week for my permanent crown. In addition to her incredibly caring service, Dr. Erini always has the most modern treatments (like the machine which took the impressions of my bite digitally with a specialized camera). All the staff I was involved with clearly were enjoying their work. A real dream team. The name of the business, "Smiles" not only refers to teeth but also the well chosen staff. Well done Brandon, and what a pleasure getting to know Heather, Sheila and lovely Erin on the front desk. So caring, warm and efficient. I had a couple of minor teeth issues which I knew about. B. spotted one immediately. I was able to explain the difficulty with a back tooth. On investigation he knew exactly what needed doing to stop the discomfort. His job, of course, but it was such a relief to find someone who wanted to progress to next steps for improvement. I'm looking to getting the work done. The office itself is light, airy, very attractively put together...and the music, for a change, is not overbearing. The view I had from the treatment window towards hills was stunning. I saw 3 beautiful eagles swooping around each other in the near distance. They also have some impressive equipment making X-rays straightforward and accurate. For the first time ever I felt no pain when having the water treatment for spraying my teeth post cleaning. Heather used some WARM water: NO DISCOMFORT. An unknown for me. Another plus in my books. Dr. Bassir was extremely polite and friendly. I noticed everyone was very nice and polite and saw up-to-date equipment such as Panoramic X-ray and small new handheld X-ray device. Office was very clean, nice and busy. Dr. Bassir gave me a shot which I really didn't feel it. I asked him was it a shot? He said yes it was. He said the needle is special that's why you didn't feel it. Through out the process Dr. Bassir and his Assistant were really great. At the end, the Coping looks really good and color matches perfectly. I do not have healthy teeth therefore I have been in many many dental offices since I was around 10 years old. This was the BEST experience I have had in my life with dental office. The Doctor and his team are absolutely wonderful. I STRONGLY recommend visiting them if you need some work done.

I do not recommend the services of Dr. Oksana Bublik and her clinic…read more Today, October 1st, 2024, I left after my third appointment with this doctor. In the spring of 2024, I sought help for bleeding gums. The doctor recommended I get a deep cleaning first, which would be covered by insurance, but I'd have to wait about a month for approval. She also suggested injecting an antibiotic into the gums during the cleaning (to help with inflammation) and using a laser. She informed me that these two options would help, but they were not covered by insurance. I waited a month for insurance approval. On the day of the cleaning, before the appointment, I signed a document agreeing to these two options. After the cleaning, I paid the previously discussed extra amount. The doctor did not refer me to a periodontist after the deep cleaning, instead recommending that I return in three months. I'll say right away - it didn't help, the problem persisted. Today, at my appointment, they cleaned my teeth again, took x-rays, and gave me a referral to their recommended periodontist. Before the cleaning, nothing was given to me to sign, and nothing was clarified, but after the appointment, they tried to charge me an additional $95 because the doctor used the laser. The staff member, Irina, claimed that the document I signed during my previous visit confirmed my agreement to use the laser. I refused to pay, at which point Irina said I would no longer be able to come to the clinic for treatment. In the end, my gum issue has not been resolved for six months. I paid extra money, lost time, had two cleanings, and they tried to charge me again for something I didn't agree to pay for. I've never encountered anything like this before. If they didn't inform me, I'll inform you: this clinic may charge you extra fees without prior notice. Be prepared for this if you schedule an appointment with Dr. Bublik.

The previous dentist took xrays. Everything was fine. Both family members went to this dentist for a routine cleaning ONLY. Both were told at the time of the cleaning they need a filling. Conveniently, the Dr did the filling right away at the time of cleaning. We asked our old dentist to take a look at the xrays and he confirmed the filling were not necessary! He also told us the fact that the Dr performed the filling immediately during cleaning should have been the clue that this is their game to generate revenue.

The insurance company investigated the work with their dental panel and found malpractice done on placement of the crowns. It has been 8 months, and the dental office still hasn't refunded money for the bad dental work. I went in for a schedule appointment for checkup and cleaning. The dental team pushed for crowns to be put in from worn out fillings without doing the scheduled cleaning. After talking me into the crowns, the dentist gave me a temporary crown that were extra thin and lead to holes in the temporary that lead to bacterial infection. The receptionist was not very friendly and laughed about the malpractice after being provided the assessment from the insurance company. Not recommended unless you want a corporate chain and want complications with you your teeth on a training dental crew. Single dentist firms not part of a corporation are a better path.

Not far into the visit, this dentist began talking about gum disease, etc. which I have never had an issue with based on my previous exams, cleanings. He then proceeds to tell me I need deep cleaning/root scaling and would not do my regular cleaning! In my gut I felt I was being upsold and would for sure get a second opinion as that is a major and costly procedure even with PPO insurance. I know that my former office would have talked to me about that had it been needed over the last 7+ yrs I was with them. I found another dentist the same week and got my six month cleaning that I was due for, and told that the deep cleaning/root scaling was in fact NOT needed after their exam and cleaning. They also reviewed the exam and X-rays from this office and my previous dental office for the last two years and still came to the same conclusion. Maybe this office provides good dental care, I would not know because I didn't receive it. Be very wary of being upsold!
