My dental hygienist is such a sweet person, I look forward to seeing her every 6 month. She is gentle, remembers everything, and always has a smile on her face. Dr. Carlston is awesome. He is so kind and takes his time when coming into the room. Although our interactions are quick, they never feel rushed. The office is beautiful and you can see the ocean right from your seat. I travel a little over an hour to come to Daydream Dental and I have zero regrets.

Wow! I finally found a holistic dentist that made my 8 year old daughter feel comfortable going to…read morethe dentist. From the moment Dr. Chase walked in the room, I knew we had found our future dentist. He has a professional but relaxed presence. He has four kids of his own and is a natural with kids. My daughter has struggled with cavities from a young age and has been recommended for anesthesia to fill multiple cavities in the past. I am so relieved I decided to hold off and then found Dr. Chase. He provided us a wonderful plan to address the many issues leading to her cavities. On our first visit he spent a lot of quality time with us, simply explaining the causes and the plan while simultaneously educating us. We followed his recommendations for SDF and Ozone. On the second visit, he filled her two teeth WITH NO ANESTHESIA REQUIRED! I was blown away and so relieved. My daughter is so happy and now brushes, flosses and uses mouth wash without me asking and understands the importance of her oral health. It is important to note that I drive all the way from Menifee and continue to do so time and again because they're that good in this office. Thank you Dr. Chase and team!

I was skeptical about this dentist after my first visit, but my latest experience changed my mind…read moreand proves they are headed in the right direction. I enrolled as a new patient after my husband had a root canal here (everything went great btw). My first encounter was a bit awkward: they left me a follow-up message after my initial exam to inform me that I had 5 cavities and needed to get them filled. When I called back, they said "that's what's in their notes", but that they'd check the X-rays to see what was factual (because the dentist said my teeth were awesome and I've never had a cavity, so I found it hard to believe I had 5 all of the sudden)! They called back shortly after and admitted that they had referenced someone else's records for some reason and that my teeth were fine. Even though this was minor mistake, for some reason it really upset me - I didn't feel like careful work was being done, or that I mattered (if they didn't know who I was). I called the Office Manager, Felipe, to let him know about this first impression, and ultimately I decided to give them a proper chance at my first official cleaning. And.... I am proud to say that today's cleaning was absolutely wonderful! Marcella quickly checked me in at the front desk, and after waiting only a minute or two, I was shown back and immediately greeted by the hygienist, Nellie. Nellie was fun, relatable, very smart, and looked out for my best interests. My cleaning was extremely quick (less than 40 mins), and that even took into account the time it took to address and treat a minor infection she discovered during the process. All in all, the antibiotic treatment was $114 bucks, and my insurance covered the rest. And for a 2:00 pm appt, I was out the door before 2:45 pm! Impressed and ready to continue my dental journey with Nellie and her team. Thankful I gave these guys another try, and encourage them to keep their clients #1! Thanks SC Dental.

She hit me in the head with the x-ray machine and nobody gave her any direction. The only normal part of my visit was talking to the hygienist she was quick and efficient. At the end of my visit some tech came in and said I don't like your x-rays you have an infection in your root canal that's going to be a $350 CT scan for us to even diagnose it. I asked why she thought that and spoke half English she said I just don't like the way it looks? I went back to my old dentist for a second opinion and turns out there was nothing wrong with my root canal so I have no idea where they got that from. I asked for a break down of what my insurance covers and they told me I don't understand how insurance works and that's not possible. Weird because I went to my old dentist a week later and everything was covered. Be careful about this place they tried to give me a $1500 quote and tell me I had some random infection, still not sure what the doctor does all day but he definitely isn't involved in exams

My mom recently started losing some crowns & I found HomeCare Dentists here on Yelp. Dr Caputo is very kind & very honest about possible solutions & cost/benefit analysis. We are still in the process of getting my mom's mouth stable, but I trust Dr Caputo. If you are in a situation where you need a dentist to come to you, I think HomeCare is a great option.

My mother is in hospice care and recently lost two teeth from her upper dentures. I was given…read moreHomeCare Dentists' information from her Board/Care as a possible solution to fix her dentures. My only goal was to see if the dentures could be fixed and at what price, so that my mother would feel good about her smile. At this stage in her life, how she feels about herself affects her willingness to battle her serious health issues. To get an answer on if the dentures could be repaired, I was advised that I must agree to a full exam with x-rays (she has 1.5 teeth remaining) of my mother. I reiterated that I only wanted to see if two teeth could be added back to the dentures. Also, I was told that their agreement form must be signed giving them permission to do whatever work they felt necessary. I questioned this, but they said if there were any additional work needed, I would be contacted first. At the first appointment, I was contacted by the dentist, who informed me that she wanted to extract the remaining 1.5 teeth from my mother's mouth. They weren't infected, but it would be simply for precaution. I reminded them that my only reason for contacting them was to get my mother's dentures repaired if possible. My mother's health is month to month (lung, heart failure and swallowing issues) and I just want her to feel good about her mouth, as when the tooth broke from the denture, she didn't want to wear them anymore out of embarrassment. Evidently, my sole intention of whether the dentures could be repaired was either not clearly passed on or just disregarded. I was told both missing teeth on her dentures could be replaced and was quoted a price, which I agreed to and was quickly charged. When I was told they were repaired and an appointment was set up to have them delivered, I asked if everything was paid in full. They would not send me anything in writing, but gave me a verbal that all costs were paid. The last call came at the appointment where I was told that the fit looked a little off and that they had to adjust the dentures for an additional $325. This was already done when they called and I had no option to challenge this. When I received the statement, it read that this was an emergency treatment, thus qualifying for additional work per the agreement. Kudos to their lawyers on their forms and the accounting dept for putting you in a must sign/pay situation. My drive for doing this was to give my mother her smile again while she is still alive on hospice which was accomplished, but the billing and after the fact nickel/diming practice is something that I didn't appreciate.
