Was recommended by my dentist to get a botched root canal fixed. The whole experience was smooth and although i was super nervous about pain the doctor quickly put me at rest. He explained everything about the procedure and has a large screen in your room to show you an X-ray of your tooth. I was done in 40 minutes. His assistant was very good as well. Beware of this clinic! Waste of time and money. Drove for 90mins to this clinic, brought our own CT Scan, still got charged $150 for them to look at the CTs and say "sorry we can't save that tooth" A decent clinic would've accepted that we share the CTs over the cloud and would've not charged for the 5mins it took for the to look at those scans and say "nothing we can do" PS: we are insured and they take our insurance, probably will bill insurance too read more

I took my child here for a root canal after he was referred here. I paid the fee, they took their own X-rays and refused to use our expensive X-rays that i had already paid $450 for. The dentist came in eventually and told us that she refused to do the root canal because there wasn't enough tooth for a crown. She refused to refund my fee. She spent one minute in the room before deciding that she would not help my child and could have told me that by looking in his mouth. BEWARE! Had a root canal. Dr Davis broke a tool off inside my molar and sealed it in my tooth without consulting me. He didn't say anything during my 2.5 hour procedure. Instead, he waited until I was walking out the door and casually mentioned it. The tooth got infected. Antibiotics didn't work and 4 months later I needed a 2nd root canal on the same tooth. To top it off, I was charged hundreds of dollars for their "special" xrays not covered by insurance and HE STILL COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT! New endodontst that did the 2nd root canal did not cost me a dime, took one hour, and numbing was minimal while Cornerstone numbed the entire side of my face that lasted about 6 hours after the procedure. read more

Work done - 3/11/2021 I had a complicated root canal. I live in the Huntington Beach area. I needed micro dental work and there were few options (do not go to Tustin). I looked outside of OC and found Dr. Edalat. He attended to my nasty tooth! I was nervous due to previous bad experiences. The staff was kind and patient and answered all my questions. Stellar staff and stellar doctor and so very thankful I found them! My story: I had a root canal on a molar. So difficult the situation, my own dentist turned me down stating they could not do it (too complicated). I needed micro dental work! So, after wasting my time on a full mouth Xray (2 in one month), I was seeking a specialized dental place that would not have to take full mouth Xrays all over again. Cornerstone recognized the fact that too many mouth Xrays in such a short time was not healthy. Every other office I called in OC and LA wanted $200.00 cash up front for Xrays and no, none would share those Xrays to another dental office via digital. WT? I was truly distraught. I researched and found Cornerstone Endodontics. They specialized in root canals only. Sounded good to me. They did not require cash up front. They used what I had. Yes, they accepted Medical! They even provided a nice care package afterward to take home! :) I watched cartoons during the procedure (that good) and never felt a thing! I still don't feel any after effects. Great service to substitute for a misplaced crown from another dentist that caused an infection due to food getting stuck beneath the crown, so rather than an implant due to damage from dentist prior, which would cost 5000 out of pocket cost if insurance isn't covered, the temporary root canal provided here by Dr. Eddie Edalat assisted with the pain without the need for pain killers and cost was covered via insurance. read more

I had never needed a root canal in my life so I was unsure what to expect before going to Dr. Edalat.... so I'm very thankful to Dr. Edalat and the staff for informing me throughout the whole process. Dr. Edalat was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very patient with me. All of my 4 root canal treatments were efficient and essentially painless and after two days my mouth feels great and I haven't needed to take any pain medication. I was referred to Dr. E for a root canal and was very apprehensive, based on a very old prior experience. The entire staff was patient, accommodating and professional and listened to all my concerns. Couldn't even get my appointment strait. Scheduled a double root canal after being in awful pain all weekend - morning of the appoint they text me saying they have to cancel the appt due to to many people having covid in the office. Disappointing considering the arrangements I had to make to get my appointment done at the time that was scheduled prior. i then receive a call 10 minuets before my scheduled appointment time and they proceed to tell me that my appointment is still on! "sorry for the inconvenience" was the response. After completely my rearranging my week and "accidentally" sending me a cancellation text at 8 am. They were unable to call me before 1:30 pm to tell me that they made a mistake. Horrible service, very rude on the phone and not a chance they are operating on my teeth if they can't even schedule an appointment correctly. Incredibly, they expect you to pay $3000 to be inconsistent of your time money and arrangements. There are much better Endo's offices in orange county. I am very impressed with Dr.Edalat professionalism and knowledge and how caring he is. Couple of months ago I started having an excruciating pain in my jaw and mouth. I thought I needed a root canal as one of my tooth appeared to be the issue. Because COVID-19 most of dentists office were closed. Dr. Edalat returned my call and we discussed about my symptoms and possible treatments. The pain I was having went away and came back recently. His assistant is so gentle and comforting and Dr. E is as well. He works so efficiently and made sure the work would be as painless as possible.
