Was recommended by my dentist to get a botched root canal fixed. The whole experience was smooth and although i was super nervous about pain the doctor quickly put me at rest. He explained everything about the procedure and has a large screen in your room to show you an X-ray of your tooth. I was done in 40 minutes. His assistant was very good as well. No pain afterwards either. Definitely recommend this place read more

I had horrible pain later. Nobody answered the phone in the afternoon during working hours. They numbed me up so I left with no pain. Hours later, I was in excruciating pain and nobody answered the phone or responded to my voice messages. There was no answering service. My son's dentist, Grace Dental, who has also treated me referred me. I called them and they said I should call Cornerstone, that does not care about patients once they have their money. I assumed the referral would be trustworthy like Grace Dental. Cornerstone had a staff of six sitting in the front office. I assume this is marketing and management as I never saw or spoke to any of them later. By the time I found out about the antibiotics, it was too late and other medical issues create problems with antibiotics, but I can take if needed. I never saw Dr. Edalot during this visit awake. I had seen him briefly during a pre-op appointment. My caregiver called him Dr. Hottie. That was the only time I saw him, so that is a moot point. I saw the anesthesiologist who was with me after the procedure. I had no way to call him. I learned later he told my helper he did not believe in narcotics. I never knew this. Defensive medicine and insurance payment are what is paramount. I am almost 70, and through numerous hospitalizations never thought of becoming a drug addict. Plus, I have to take benedryl with narcotics or I will itch and this makes my asthma worse. I imagine the anesthesiologist and dentist also ensure they and their families do not endure post-operative pain. The paying patient does not matter. I learned later that after my post, antibiotics and 75 mg of Tramadol, which does not exist was phoned in from my CVS app. I assume Cornerstone did not answer CVS when they called. Either, they are ignorant as to medication or did this on purpose. I called Grace Dental who told me to call Cornerstone that never answered. I am waiting for them to return my call about completing the work. Maybe, they won't call me back because I complained, not about them, because they were great and very patient. I hope so. I need more work done. Dentists legally are not required to treat disabled patients as MDs are. Cornerstone had numerous five star glowing reviews. I know there are numerous ways this can occur. I assume the other reviewers did not have my experience, if they were real patients. The honest and fair practice would be to inform patients that they will have pain when the medication wears off and staff will not answer phone or return calls. My husband said he was better than crooks I went to years ago. My husband was not financially ripped off as with previous dentists. Teeth still hurting.... read more

I took my child here for a root canal after he was referred here. I paid the fee, they took their own X-rays and refused to use our expensive X-rays that i had already paid $450 for. The dentist came in eventually and told us that she refused to do the root canal because there wasn't enough tooth for a crown. She refused to refund my fee. She spent one minute in the room before deciding that she would not help my child and could have told me that by looking in his mouth. What a great lazy way to take in hundreds of dollars in five minutes. read more

Beware of this clinic! Waste of time and money. Drove for 90mins to this clinic, brought our own CT Scan, still got charged $150 for them to look at the CTs and say "sorry we can't save that tooth" A decent clinic would've accepted that we share the CTs over the cloud and would've not charged for the 5mins it took for the to look at those scans and say "nothing we can do" PS: we are insured and they take our insurance, probably will bill insurance too read more

BEWARE! Had a root canal. Dr Davis broke a tool off inside my molar and sealed it in my tooth without consulting me. He didn't say anything during my 2.5 hour procedure. Instead, he waited until I was walking out the door and casually mentioned it. The tooth got infected. Antibiotics didn't work and 4 months later I needed a 2nd root canal on the same tooth. To top it off, I was charged hundreds of dollars for their "special" xrays not covered by insurance and HE STILL COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT! New endodontst that did the 2nd root canal did not cost me a dime, took one hour, and numbing was minimal while Cornerstone numbed the entire side of my face that lasted about 6 hours after the procedure. read more

Will not disclose prices. Took my license and held it like I was in a foreign country, required 300 in X-rays before revealing ONE basic root canal costs 2000 dollars. Two. Thousand. Dollars For one tooth, this price does not include X-rays or anesthesia. Walked out and had to eat that 300 loss for nothing. Other places charge 600 for this service. Total scammers. This is a wonderful office and most importantly we had a great experience here! Dr. Eddie Edalat did two root canals on my brother. Dr Edalat was very gentle with doing the root canals, easy to talk to, eased my brother on what needed to be done and his after care, and did the procedures in a very timely matter. The office staff made everything so seamless with the insurance and our dental office. Everyone, we encountered in this office was very kind and pleasant. The office itself is very clean, open, and modern. This office is nestled in beautiful San Clemente. Work done - 3/11/2021 I had a complicated root canal. I live in the Huntington Beach area. I needed micro dental work and there were few options (do not go to Tustin). I looked outside of OC and found Dr. Edalat. He attended to my nasty tooth! I was nervous due to previous bad experiences. The staff was kind and patient and answered all my questions. Stellar staff and stellar doctor and so very thankful I found them! My story: I had a root canal on a molar. So difficult the situation, my own dentist turned me down stating they could not do it (too complicated). I needed micro dental work! So, after wasting my time on a full mouth Xray (2 in one month), I was seeking a specialized dental place that would not have to take full mouth Xrays all over again. Cornerstone recognized the fact that too many mouth Xrays in such a short time was not healthy. Every other office I called in OC and LA wanted $200.00 cash up front for Xrays and no, none would share those Xrays to another dental office via digital. WT? I was truly distraught. I researched and found Cornerstone Endodontics. They specialized in root canals only. Sounded good to me. They did not require cash up front. They used what I had. Yes, they accepted Medical! They even provided a nice care package afterward to take home! :) I watched cartoons during the procedure (that good) and never felt a thing! I still don't feel any after effects. Dr. Edalat had acumen, patience and high skill. Angel! I'm so grateful! High recommends! Covid safe. And yes, I got a free digital too! Amazing doctor! read more

Great service to substitute for a misplaced crown from another dentist that caused an infection due to food getting stuck beneath the crown, so rather than an implant due to damage from dentist prior, which would cost 5000 out of pocket cost if insurance isn't covered, the temporary root canal provided here by Dr. Eddie Edalat assisted with the pain without the need for pain killers and cost was covered via insurance. read more

Superior skills in endodontics. I am grateful for the admirable professionals at Cornerstone Endodontics. I am so grateful, I feel that a thank you isn't enough for such a wonderful service. Dr. Edalat was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very patient with me. I am very impressed with Dr.Edalat professionalism and knowledge and how caring he is. Couple of months ago I started having an excruciating pain in my jaw and mouth. I thought I needed a root canal as one of my tooth appeared to be the issue. Because COVID-19 most of dentists office were closed. Dr. Edalat returned my call and we discussed about my symptoms and possible treatments. The pain I was having went away and came back recently. I decided then to have a consultation with one of his associates few days ago and In the end I didn't need a root canal as my main issue was a TMJ and a bite adjustment. if I ever need a root canal I know I will be in good hands with Dr. Edalat. read more

Couldn't even get my appointment strait. Scheduled a double root canal after being in awful pain all weekend - morning of the appoint they text me saying they have to cancel the appt due to to many people having covid in the office. Disappointing considering the arrangements I had to make to get my appointment done at the time that was scheduled prior. i then receive a call 10 minuets before my scheduled appointment time and they proceed to tell me that my appointment is still on! "sorry for the inconvenience" was the response. After completely my rearranging my week and "accidentally" sending me a cancellation text at 8 am. They were unable to call me before 1:30 pm to tell me that they made a mistake. Horrible service, very rude on the phone and not a chance they are operating on my teeth if they can't even schedule an appointment correctly. Incredibly, they expect you to pay $3000 to be inconsistent of your time money and arrangements. There are much better Endo's offices in orange county. Looking forward to my experiences elsewhere. 0/5 out of stars if i could read more

A follow up from my last post. I was remiss to not mention state of the art, up to the minute equipment. Had my root canal done today. Once again, the staff and Dr. Davis shined.
