I have really, really appreciated Dr. Erini Redmond since transferring from another dentist in San…read moreClemente a few years ago. But today's service and treatment was spectacular! Here are the details; I was driving home from a 5 day road trip. While driving down from the Tejon Pass, I started eating a protein bar with nuts. I bit down on something hard. When I looked at it, it looked like a nut shell. I thought no more about it. I took a break and stopped for a walk while I charged my car, tossing out my trash (which included what turned out to be a dental crown--not a nut shell :-( About 30 miles down the road, I took a drink of water, and realized I had a dental problem. I was concerned because it was a Wednesday--I didn't want to have to get through 4-5 days (including a weekend)...with a tooth root that was very sensitive. I called Dr. Redmond's office at about 9:30 am as I headed for home. Brenda (her receptionist) said the doctor was fully booked into next week, but that she would see if Dr. Erini could somehow work me in. I got a call back in about 15 minutes. Dr. Erini and her assistant were willing to work thru their lunch hour to get my tooth cleaned up and also put in a temporary crown. Gratefully, I said I could be there, for sure! Later in the day, I was out of the office, with a healed mouth and temporary crown just before 2:00 pm!!! I simply need to return next week for my permanent crown. In addition to her incredibly caring service, Dr. Erini always has the most modern treatments (like the machine which took the impressions of my bite digitally with a specialized camera). So much faster and more accurate than that ol' putty. Take it from me--if you're needing a caring and highly professional dentist and dental office, check out Dr. Erini Redmond in San Clemente.

I originally came…read morein as a new patient for an exam and regular cleaning, and after just two visits I can confidently say this has been one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. What stood out to me immediately was how thorough she is and how much individual attention she gives her patients. I never once felt rushed or like I was just another patient on the schedule. She takes her job and her patients' health incredibly seriously, but at the same time she is so sweet, kind, personable, and makes you feel completely comfortable. I was honestly amazed by how comprehensive my first exam was! I've never been to a dentist where they checked my blood pressure before starting, followed by the dentist personally doing a full head and neck exam, checking my lymph nodes, jaw, and surrounding areas. It immediately showed me that Dr. Kaban is looking at the whole patient and genuinely cares about your overall health, not just your teeth. I had originally scheduled a regular cleaning, but during the exam we found that I actually needed a deep cleaning. Instead of making me schedule another appointment and come back another day, she took the time to explain everything, gave me the option of doing it right then and there, and was able to add the deep cleaning to my visit that same day, which I really appreciated! I also wasn't completely numb after the first round of anesthetic, and she had absolutely no problem stopping and giving me more. She made sure I was completely numb and comfortable before continuing rather than expecting me to tolerate any pain. That meant a lot to me. I came back today for my fillings and had another amazing experience! Once again, she gave me her undivided attention, made sure I was comfortable, and never made the appointment feel rushed. It is honestly rare to find a dentist who is this thorough, knowledgeable, attentive, and professional while also being so genuinely kind. After these experiences, I already know I'll be coming back and making Dr. Kaban my long-term dentist! I feel extremely lucky to have found her and would recommend Kaban Dental Group without hesitation to anyone looking for a dentist in the Orange County area. 10/10 experience all around!

They even sent me a text message appt reminder and I had also called to confirm prior. After speaking to other dental offices they all confirmed a 30 day notification was customary when insurance changes. I received none of these.
