All the staff I was involved with clearly were enjoying their work. A real dream team. The name of the business, "Smiles" not only refers to teeth but also the well chosen staff. Well done Brandon, and what a pleasure getting to know Heather, Sheila and lovely Erin on the front desk. So caring, warm and efficient. I had a couple of minor teeth issues which I knew about. B. spotted one immediately. I was able to explain the difficulty with a back tooth. On investigation he knew exactly what needed doing to stop the discomfort. His job, of course, but it was such a relief to find someone who wanted to progress to next steps for improvement. I'm looking to getting the work done. The office itself is light, airy, very attractively put together...and the music, for a change, is not overbearing. The view I had from the treatment window towards hills was stunning. I saw 3 beautiful eagles swooping around each other in the near distance. They also have some impressive equipment making X-rays straightforward and accurate. For the first time ever I felt no pain when having the water treatment for spraying my teeth post cleaning. Heather used some WARM water: NO DISCOMFORT. An unknown for me. Another plus in my books. Here are the details; I was driving home from a 5 day road trip. While driving down from the Tejon Pass, I started eating a protein bar with nuts. I bit down on something hard. When I looked at it, it looked like a nut shell. I thought no more about it. I took a break and stopped for a walk while I charged my car, tossing out my trash (which included what turned out to be a dental crown--not a nut shell :-( About 30 miles down the road, I took a drink of water, and realized I had a dental problem. I was concerned because it was a Wednesday--I didn't want to have to get through 4-5 days (including a weekend)...with a tooth root that was very sensitive. I called Dr. Redmond's office at about 9:30 am as I headed for home. Brenda (her receptionist) said the doctor was fully booked into next week, but that she would see if Dr. Erini could somehow work me in. I got a call back in about 15 minutes. Dr. Erini and her assistant were willing to work thru their lunch hour to get my tooth cleaned up and also put in a temporary crown. Gratefully, I said I could be there, for sure! Later in the day, I was out of the office, with a healed mouth and temporary crown just before 2:00 pm!!! I simply need to return next week for my permanent crown. In addition to her incredibly caring service, Dr. Erini always has the most modern treatments (like the machine which took the impressions of my bite digitally with a specialized camera). From the moment Dr. Chase walked in the room, I knew we had found our future dentist. He has a professional but relaxed presence. He has four kids of his own and is a natural with kids. My daughter has struggled with cavities from a young age and has been recommended for anesthesia to fill multiple cavities in the past. I am so relieved I decided to hold off and then found Dr. Chase. He provided us a wonderful plan to address the many issues leading to her cavities. On our first visit he spent a lot of quality time with us, simply explaining the causes and the plan while simultaneously educating us. We followed his recommendations for SDF and Ozone. On the second visit, he filled her two teeth WITH NO ANESTHESIA REQUIRED! I was blown away and so relieved. My daughter is so happy and now brushes, flosses and uses mouth wash without me asking and understands the importance of her oral health. He is so kind and takes his time when coming into the room. Although our interactions are quick, they never feel rushed. The office is beautiful and you can see the ocean right from your seat. I travel a little over an hour to come to Daydream Dental and I have zero regrets.
