I've tried WundaBar in Montrose and Los Feliz. First time at this studio. Booked this class through Class Pass. Plenty of street parking if you are lucky to get a free spot, and I was!! Short walk to the studio. Once I walked in, I noticed how clean and organized the studio looked. Found the cubbies to place my stuff in. The instructor was very nice and gave good instructions. I noticed right away that there were MANY beginners in the class, so the class was easier than I would have liked. In general, I feel WundaBar is much easier than Motivate or Lagree. Would I come back? Sure, but hopefully it will be a little more challenging.

Had my first-ever Wundabar class and it was decently nice! My instructor was Carrie and she was an absolute delight. So positive and friendly and welcoming. Upon entering, she confirmed it was my first time at the studio and showed me around / showed how to use their pilates reformers. The class size was pretty small. There were only 7 people in my class (some slots were not filled) and the instructor will walk around and give hands-on adjustments. Carrie also walked around the class and gave lots of personal positive reinforcement. She's truly a really awesome instructor and kind person. Knocked off a star because I didn't think the class was particularly challenging or new. A lot of the exercises seemed to mimic moves that you could do with mat pilates. I did not break a sweat nor was I tired or sore the next day (which makes me question the quality of my workout). I also wasn't a fan of the resistance ring. I don't believe the studio itself has any showers or locker rooms. There are cubbies where you can store your shoes and belongings - but no way to lock your stuff. The interior design is nothing breathtaking or IG-worthy. I've tried most other pilates studios in Pasadena and I would say this was probably the most lackluster in terms of design (but not docking stars for that because who really cares - a cute studio is just a cherry on top of a good workout). The choice of music also wasn't to my taste and can tell they didn't invest much into their sound system. Parking is street parking only - depending on what time/day your class is, parking can be easier or more difficult. There's a nice cafe right next door and the Pasadena location is very close to lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Haven't been to the gym for over 2 years! If you have been working out at home, you MUST come here to unlock all under utilized muscles that you don't think you have. I lack coordination which deems challenging following instructions. But Ms. Amy Jordan is very insightful, fun telling me not to worry about what your neighbor is doing, just focus on yourself. Class size is small which the instructor will spot you out and correct your posture right away. It is well lit, clean and airy at the studio. Easy parking on the street or lots around corners!

The class options and times make it easy to show up, the studio is spotless, and everything runs smoothly without feeling rigid or cold. What really makes this studio stand out is the instruction. The teachers are paying attention. They correct your form, they want you doing the workout correctly, and it shows. This isn't a "do your own thing in the corner" kind of class. You feel guided, supported, and challenged in the right way. I especially loved my class with Emily. She was able to gauge exactly what I was doing incorrectly and came over to help me in a way that felt thoughtful and encouraging. I genuinely appreciated that level of awareness. They also make an effort to remember your name, which tells you everything about the culture and how much they value customer satisfaction. I leave class feeling stronger and mentally clearer every single time, which iswhy I keep coming back. If you're even on the fence about barre, take one class here. You may get hooked too.

The classroom size is pretty big - about 20-30 people and they have a livestream too for people joining remotely. Restrooms are fully stocked with deodorant, perfumes, etc. The class itself is a mix of abs, stretching, and easy workouts (imagine pulsing a 2 lb weight 50 times). Parking was easy as there's paid parking structures nearby all around. For class, if you find the Pasadena city owned parking structures, it's just $1 to park for the hour and change.

I've been a long time member of Corepower so I've had my fair share of hot yoga, and it makes me appreciate the way that hot 8 operates - they have multiple types of classes - I tried Strength, Yin, Sculpt, and they're all fantastic. The membership feels so worth it because of the variety of classes and the multiple rooms/times available. I will definitely be returning. Shout out to the front desk staff - they helped me solve issues with my booking process (my fault) and were so kind/patient when exposing the different classes to me. Oh and shoutout to Allison Chiang - the Strength instructor. She brought the energy and spent time on form correction. So key! Finally - there's free parking with validation in the building! My favorite class at the moment is Yin, which is a restorative deep fascia release class. (I've had some injuries unrelated to yoga, so I need something more restorative.) Prior to my injury I was taking the Barre classes for 5 to 7 days a week and it changed my life for the best. I am very much looking forward to taking the new Strength classes once I'm feeling up for it. I recommend Mia and Damara for Barre. I recommend Jaz, Shanai (who is also an excellent barre teacher too), and Rachel for Yin. Jaz teaches extra special Yin class with tennis balls that help students stretch into their fascia even more deeply, and is better than any massage I've ever had! With my injury, I'm not sure that I would have continued with my annual executive membership if Jaz were not teaching Yin. Her classes have been a godsend. Even when I'm healed I will continue taking her classes! All the teachers are quite good; I just have my favorites based on personality and instruction style. You are sure to find someone who will exceed your needs! The three reasons that I decided not to give the studio five stars are: 1. they've been running out of the towels that I get with my particular membership. 2. there are some rude students who interrupt important times of instruction, especially the Shavasana, which is critical to closing out a successful yoga practice. 3. The showers can sometimes be a little slimy, which is pretty gross. This was not the case when I first started taking classes almost 2 years ago.

Yoga Sculpt is a class that uses light hand weights and has some cardio (jumping jacks, etc) in the middle, with the room heated but not too hot, just enough to make you really sweat. But…read moreupon attending my second class in April 2026 I had to take three minutes before class to fill out a parking validation form on my phone, asking for a ton of information as part of their new parking policy. The validation is for 58 minutes and doesn't even cover a whole class and time it takes to get back to your car (see the receipt attached below). This is an important detail because the building that hosts Pasadena Corepower (Residences at Westgate, owned by Greystar LLC) contracts with a predatory tow agency called Metro Towing. Warning: Metro Towing will absolutely tow your car if they have any chance. They did this to my friend, and CorePower staff lamented it had happened to numerous others, including the instructors. Go to the Metro Towing Yelp page and you can see how this company makes its money. The cost of getting your car back will be at least $530, and Metro Towing company is incredibly rude and dismissive when you call them. To be clear: the most troubling part of this whole towing situation is the complacent "oh well!" attitude taken by CorePower management. Their guests and instructors are getting their cars towed and they don't seem to even care! They put a small update on their formal website saying you now need to validate your parking- but honestly, who checks the website before taking a class? (By contrast, the facility where I play indoor soccer sent out SIX emails over two weeks with detailed maps showing where exactly to park in order not to get towed by neighboring businesses. That is how you get out in front of things and take care of your guests, even when the parking situation isn't yours to manage like it is here.) I have somewhat mixed feelings leaving a poor review, because this is really about management and not the instructors. But Pasadena Corepower Yoga and Greystone LLC (the building owner) have made the decision to stand by a predatory towing company, and therefore folks taking classes should be on notice. If you linger after your workout to shower or have a conversation with someone, you are putting yourself at great risk to lose your car and $530- even if you followed the validation rules parking your car. It makes no sense to me that a yoga studio of all places would nurture this kind of environment, but here we are.

Let me start this review by saying I've been a huge morph fan for 2 years, literally declining…read moreevery invite from my friends to try different studios. I've been to Los Feliz when I lived in LA and moved to Pasadena when I moved out of LA. My sister and I collectively referred over 10 people to morph whom purchased beginners class, then beginners 10 pack, and some even 15 class packs. We wondered about referrals and no one got back to us. I don't even want a free class but maybe a pair of socks to show their appreciation for all the business we brought to them. We got nothing, not even a verbal appreciation. I've gotten my friends to mostly fill an entire class a few times too. To me, seems like morph doesn't care about their "morphletes" as much as they portray and they only care about the money. Parking: THE PARKING SUCKS. There's only a few spots and the rest is paid parking. I'm already paying $20 per class, I don't want to pay for parking. You have to go at least 15 minutes early to wait in the parking lot for the previous class to come in for lot parking. Classes: the classes are a breeze, they're so easy compared to other studios. I started going to a different studio while having morph credits still and I'd go to morph when I want an easy workout. The flow of the class is different than other lagree studios, exercises have different names too. Some instructors don't even have holds/pauses in the routine. The classes are just not challenging enough. WHY IS THERE NO APP TO BOOK CLASSES? I feel like at this point, an app is bare minimum. Their latest class is 6pm which is hard to make for a corporate employee to attend. The studio I currently attend has 7pm and 8pm classes. Community: As much as they portray a community, there is no sense of community at morph. I've only been going to this new studio for a year and I feel so welcomed and appreciated. At my other studio, I've gotten acknowledgment for my birthday, 50 classes, 100 classes, invitation to join a free class for content, and owners are much more personable. You can tell who is in it for the money and who is actually passionate about lagree. Also, morph trainers spray down the machine as soon as class is over, giving you NO time to stretch because they be waiting by your machine with a towel as soon as class is over. Just feels like they're trying to rush people out asap. Other studios use wipes, giving people time to chill out and stretch after a challenging workout. Overall, There are A LOT of better lagree studios out there, in all the ways. A lot of studios have holiday discounts/founders deals much better than what morph offers. Take it from me who was a huge morph fan who ended up finding a sense of belonging at another studio. Forgot to mention that I been weight lifting for 3 years and the only 2 times I got severely injured to the point of bed rest was at this studio.

The studio itself is spotless and thoughtfully set up. The bathrooms and showers are super clean, which makes those early 6 AM classes so nice because I can shower and head straight to work (complementary towels, shower mats, razors, q tips, deodorant, hair dryers, etc). There's plenty of street parking around the block and designated spots in their lot. Highly recommend :)
