Absolutely love this beautiful and clean yoga studio. Cleanest yoga studio I've been to by far, spacious rooms and open walkways. There's 3 workout rooms and a variety of classes with so many time slots from AM to PM. Just finished my 3rd class this week and I'm looking forward to the next. It's HOT! And you'll drip sweat like never before but you'll get a kickas5 workout and you'll leave feeling accomplished. Park in P1/2/3 for easier entrance to studio or park on any other floor and take the stairs/ elevator. They validate 2hrs parking. Everybody is so inviting and super helpful. The cold refrigerated towels are the best during or after class. Bring plenty of cold water and your energy.

Tried the $35 week of unlimited classes. I normally not a yoga girlie but I heard a few clients mention Hot 8 and decided to give it a try because I love a good heated class. Woah was it hot in there, but I loved it. It's not unbearable, I didn't have to step out but it's definitely a mental challenge. Grab a cool Towel from the refrigerator. I can't remember the formatting took, didn't love her so not worth mentioning.I fell in love with Stephanie Love, I took her barre and sculpt class. Music, her aura, her flow everything was amazing. I'd return just for her, her energy and the challenge. Restrooms are very packed after classes, so I typically just run to my car and head home to avoid the chaos. I would definitely recommend taking Stephanie, you wonty regret it.

I've been coming to hot 8 Pasadena for 4 months now. I have taken every class except power(yet) I have also only been to the Pasadena location so I can't compare. I do really enjoy the classes the instructors are all great and have high energy for the high energy classes and really keep you motivated and pushing through. One of my favorite classes is yin w/ jaz w/ tennis balls! This class should be a staple in everyone's practice! The difference it makes in your muscles and recovery is tremendous! The not so great: there have been a couple of times maybe 4 that I remember where there was no toilet paper or seat covers in 3 of the stalls which was annoying and they had just opened around like 330 pm and it was 4 pm so I don't see why there wasn't fresh restock? The price is not cheap $219/ mo I know with inflation and everything it's expected but from previous reviews it looks like months have passed and the same problems persist. No bathroom supplies, supplies not being wiped, smelly rooms. Sometimes the classrooms stink so bad like an old car in a garage or something ? And just like sweaty idk how to explain it but they can really smell badly sometimes. Sometimes the speakers in the classrooms suck ? I'm not sure if it's the cable connected to the phone the actual speaker or what. But there have been a couple of classes where the music would go so quiet or just completely stop and it messes with your focus and flow and energy. Some of the classes get so packed to the point it feels unsafe due to overcrowding and you would get trampled if something happened lol. Maybe for crowd control they can offer more classes during the day? The front desk people are pretty nice for the most part. I would give all the instructors an award for being so amazing and supportive and make you feel connected and loved! Most of the instructors feel genuine!! You get two hours free parking with validation which is a plus iykyk. I would recommend this place for sure and will continue to be a hot 8 yogi ‍

Unfortunately I didn't see colors during my sound bath. I did have memory flashed back of this year in my mind during the session. The instructor was kind and informative. We had a private party booked so I wasn't too worried about leaving my stuff in the locker area. There are no locks in the locker area by the way. I think it may be better to try the sound bath at night or if they lights were turned off. It was pretty bright and when the instructor mentioned the white light, I only see light from the window above me. My coworkers saw colors during the sound bath. The staff is always friendly when I come in and they're happy to help with anything. I enjoy the variety of classes offered here, there's something for every need. The classrooms are heated and I definitely work up a sweat for the tough workouts/flows. The cool scented towels after classes are super nice. The studio is cozy! There's no showers, but all the areas including the bathrooms are very clean and well kept. There are lockers with built in locks to store your items. I'm in and out of there after my classes. Now that I'm healed, I was thinking about going back to Corepower but the algorithm must have seen me browsing yoga studios and an ad for this place popped up on my Instagram for a $36 for 3 classes intro deal. I was a bit weary of my card automatically getting billed for a membership once my three classes ended, so I called the studio and spoke to Kelsey (She's the daytime studio manager I think) who assured me that there's no catch, I can take the three classes for $36 and decide from there if I want to buy a membership or not. She was super friendly and helpful, she asked me what I was looking for and helped recommend me which classes might be good for me. My first class I took Dahhee's mobility class which I enjoyed. While it definitely feels like yoga, it's not a traditional yoga flow class where you're doing chaturangas and sun salutations between each sequence but a mix of yoga, stretching, and strength building. The second class I took was Kyle's slow flow class. This was more similar to classes I've taken in the past at other studios and I really loved that Kyle integrated her playlist with the movement. The studio is also very welcoming, the first class I went to was an evening class and the evening studio manager Karisma greeted me and helped me check in, while the second time I went during the day and Kelsey was there. There's free combination code lockers in the locker room which is really nice, you don't have to bring your own lock. Parking is fairly easy, they don't have their own lot but there's free street parking on their street. Both times I found street parking right on their street, though they also validate meter parking as the free section is limited. You should give yourself some time to walk over in case you have to park up the street. The two cons I have are: 1) No showers 2) The classes are only warm not hot. I asked Kelsey and she said both classes I took they heat the room to 90 degrees. As someone who's always cold, 90 degrees I'm barely breaking a sweat. The no showers thing actually didn't matter too much because I wasn't drenched in sweat like I usually am after hot yoga. Next week I plan to take the "Power flow" class which I'm told is hotter and also more difficult, so I'm looking forward to it.

Nothing beats the intelligence of the Iyengar system, imho! I will say that Paul has a unique way of balancing his precise knowledge with a very spacious accommodation, which is TRULY the art of an engaged teacher. However, there are other instructors here (I won't name names) that unfortunately trigger my sympathetic nervous system with their tone, and overuse of the word "should." As much as I try to get past this, my breath and body just become tight, and I don't move as freely with overly managed instruction. Yoga House could be one of the last studios on the Eastside that uphold the integrity of a yogic learning environment. As a yogi of 25 years, and an instructor myself, I recommend the Iyengar classes to anyone working to heal injuries and those who want to deepen their practice. It's not a miracle, but a more serious approach to yoga can be transformative, on many levels.

I recently attended the class for people with mobility challenges, led by the incredible Peggy, and it was truly a transformative experience. As someone living with Lupus and Muscular Dystrophy, finding a movement space where I feel safe, seen, and supported has been a long journey. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed--not just by the staff, but by the beautiful community that gathers here. There's a genuine warmth in the room that you can feel, and Peggy's presence and guidance made all the difference. She was patient, attentive, and so compassionate, offering helpful adjustments and making sure each student felt comfortable and included. The studio is clean, calm, and absolutely beautiful. They offer plenty of props to support your practice, and the meditation beginning and at the end of class was the perfect way to wind down and reconnect with myself. It's rare to find a space that honors both your limitations and your potential--but Pasadena Yoga House does just that. If you're looking for a welcoming, inclusive, and healing space to move, breathe, and just be--you've found it. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio to anyone, especially those with mobility challenges or chronic conditions. I left feeling lighter, supported, and truly at home.
