I swapped out the bacon for avocado (not normal for me, but like I said, dietary restrictions) and it was just as good as with bacon! My burrito has avocado, eggs, hash browns and tomatoes, and it was exactly what I needed. Good to note that the only bread option is sourdough, however, it is very tasty homemade and fresh sourdough, which is quite the treat. Unfortunately, not for me today, but I have enjoyed it in the past. I usually get to go and drive up the hill to picnic with a view, but I'm looking forward to eating in one day. That atmosphere is very cozy and calm, both the inside and the patio are nice. I was shocked at the actual square footage of this store as it looks much smaller from the street. Additionally, I never noticed they have a Starbucks within. Initially I only intended to stop in for a meager bag of tortilla chips, but I soon found myself walking other aisles just to peruse the variety of goods available. There's a full-service bakery with an impressive display case near the entrance (adjacent to the Starbucks), and the steaks at the meat counter were equally attractive. The deli section was doing a good business with several people in line for sandwiches, and I noticed a hot soup station, as well. I hate shopping at Lake Arrowhead village on weekends due to the traffic and, though this Jensens was doing a very brisk business, the ease of parking is so much better. I have been relying on the little market in Cedar Glen (a former Jensens, ironically) for emergency "basics, " but it's nice to know there is a larger, better-stocked, option available a short five miles distant.
