These are the worst donuts I've ever had. For the price that they charge. It is absolutely exuberant because these donuts are trash. I bought one single glazed donut no sprinkles nothing fancy and it was almost 3 dollars. Highly highly highly recommend checking out Slik Donuts. We stopped by this past weekend on our way to Las Vegas. The staff is very friendly and the selection they offer is amazing. We ordered half dozen and each donut we got was delicious and very fresh. We got glazed twist, maple bar, crumble donuts and blueberry donut. If you are not looking for something sweet, they offer ham and cheese croissants. Next time we go to Vegas, we will be stopping by Slik Donuts again. read more

My husband and I had gone camping in the area and we were leaving town and on our way back home. When suddenly, I had the urge to drink some hot cocoa. But because it was late at night, I initially couldn't find anywhere that offered it. Then, I found silk donuts through yelp, and after a phone call to confirm they had hot cocoa we made our way here. Since we were inside, I decided to pick up a couple donuts for the drive. They unfortunately didn't have my favorite chocolate with custard, but the plain glazed was a great choice regardless. I also, ordered a dozen donut holes. After paying we went back to the car and started dipping the donut holes in the hot cocoa and it was the perfect combination. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at this establishment. read more

Made a little stop here while on a family road trip to AZ. My mom wanted to just check it out, so we did and got 2 donuts. The gal behind the register was surprised that we got JUST two lol. These donuts always taste fresh. The Apple fritter is perfect mixture of crunchy, soft, and sweet. They make a berry filled glazed donut that is the best out of all of them. Yum! Also, at times they have a young boy and girl helping with boxing the donuts and running the register and they are so sweet and professional. The ABSOLUTE BEST donuts EVER! My new and only donut place! First we were greeted by a very friendly cashier. She was so helpful and happy! I purchased the Bakers Dozen 14 donuts, Every donut tasted incredible! It was not the same recipe for each donut, each donut was made with love. The cake donut was moist and cakey. The filled donuts were a different recipe and not just "filled" with the creme or filling, the donut was cut open and had filling (thick filling) inside! The filling actually was coming out the sides when I bit into it! The donut holes just melt in your mouth! The chocolate frosting tastes like melted chocolate, not like a generic paste. The Old Fashioned was incredible it had a very distinctive taste! These donuts are made for donut lovers! People who like donuts will be able to find something too. But these are REAL donuts! Ok - this review is not for the donuts but the owner of this shop, which some folks may care about so being upfront about that in my review. Recently, I was playing in the snow with my four kids and after a fun day, we got back in the minivan and the car wouldn't start - bad battery was my guess. No cell reception and getting later in the day with four kids - so your basic nightmare. I left the family at the car and walked up the road hoping for cell reception to call AAA. I got to the next lookout and no cell reception. Asked 2 folks there if they had cell reception and no. So I walked back to the car thinking I would talk to the wife to make a plan - possibly walk 3 miles back to town was my idea. As I get back to the car, Mr. Slik is nearby with his family in their car. I flagged him down and he asks me what is wrong. I let him know my car won't start and ask him if he is going back toward town and willing to give me a ride. Wasn't too hopeful with Covid and all. Mr. Slik parks near me and pulls out one of those jumper battery packs. He proceeds to help me and stays around till my car is charged and running. It was the end of day and he had his family with him. Am sure he wanted to get home too. I am writing this review to show our appreciation and share an episode of humanity which we need more in this world. So thank you Mr. Slik and his family who had to wait around and hope folks will like knowing they are supporting a donut shop who's owner was wiling to help a complete stranger in trouble. I know when I go past Hesperia, I will be buying my donuts here. read more

Road trip back to Vegas. My husband needed to use restroom and the one at the gas station was closed. He went into Slik Donuts and was told he had to be a customer to use the restroom. He bought a couple of donuts. I am thinking great it's 6:30 pm and the donuts were probably stale. I was wrong as they were fresh and delicious. I am sorry he only bought 2. As a paying customer, I have never been treated in such a manner. The small brown bag givin to me containing my order wouldn't close at the top. After I paid, I politely asked for another small brown paper bag. The cashier looked at me and responded, "For what?". I explained to him how I could not close up my bag to keep my donuts fresh and that separating them would be helpful. They have a Neil's doughnuts in the Vons shopping center on Bear Valley and Hesperia Rd. Now I don't know who this Neil character is, but as for his doughnuts he must be some kind of Angel.
