Stopped by during our roadtrip to Utah and met the owner. He was super nice and welcoming. Definitely some of the best donuts we've had!!

This was our favorite donut shop in Hesperia. I always loved to come by a couple of hours after midnight to buy the donuts that were just cooked, but tonight was not the same experience as was the past visits. What I was asking for was the freshest donuts, but the late night cook insisted that all the donuts had been cooked today and would not give me any that had just been cooked. The donuts in the counter did not look fresh and where a not the same quality that I had purchased in the past. The service was not friendly nor helpful. I had him box up 15 donuts and when I went to pay he told me that I had to pay an additional .45 cents for the credit card transaction. If the quality of the product and the service had been equal to what I had experienced in the past, I would have pay the additional charge. When I told him that I did not want to pay any additional fee he told me that he had the right to refuse service, grabbed the donuts from the counter and gave me back my credit card, then told me to leave the store. I wife and I see that the local Hesperia businesses reflect what travelers see what our community is like and this business is not adding up to our standard. It is very sad to see a quality business in our community fall short and hope that is review will wake up the business owner. You know how when you travel by car let's say from Cali to Vegas you make certain places your favorite spot to eat, take a break,whatever well I just went to slik donuts and the guy making the donuts was so rude!!! He wasn't courteous at all and didn't let me use the bathroom!! It's a shame that employees like this ruin your customer experience. Slik donut for sure will not be the spot anymore. read more

Unassuming donut place located by a gas station. It looks sketchy from the outside but inside it's pretty decent. The staff is very friendly and they have a wide selection of donuts and breakfast/lunch items. I got a bagel and cream cheese and an apple fritter. Both were delicious and tasted very fresh. Since I ate these in the car, I wasn't able to get a picture of them but I hope to come back here the next time I'm on the road! read more

I am very upset at the service that this establishment. My 5 year old son needed to use the restroom really bad. I attempted to use the gas station next door, it was closed. I asked the male employee which I am to believe to be the owner the Slik Donuts to use the restroom, he stated that my son couldn't use it unless we were customers. My son was crying and obviously needed to go to the bathroom really bad. The male employee didn't show that he cared that my crying son needed to go really bad! Unknown to his knowledge I was going to purchase a couple of dozens of donuts for my family in the morning, that will not happen nor will ever happen! Kudos to Denny's diner next door for letting him use their restroom. I will write a positive review for them. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone just because they just don't seem to care about families in my opinion. I really hope that they will strive to see that a parent that is caring for their child needing to use the restroom and allow the child to go. read more

My daughter and I stop by here very often for breakfast, or take some for sharing with her classmates. Never a bad experience. The lady is super sweet, just like donuts. :) Donuts are crunchy, fresh and a lot of variety. I can only recommend it. read more

Me and my Mom always get at least six donuts and they always give us another one for free. The staff is friendly and they always make sure to please. One night we went in and there wasn't too many donuts to choose from. The gentleman working was very friendly and told us he had just made fresh donuts in the back if we didn't see anything we liked in the front. I highly recommend them to everybody! read more

This place has horrible customer service, it's no wonder they are open so late. They need the extra hours to sell their donuts. My little brothers wanted donuts and this was the only open donut place, it's is over priced, the place looks dirty (and my mom has worked at a donut place), and they didn't even give a free donut or apologized after she almost overcharged me. NO STARS! Horrible customer service! The short man with the mustache was rude and the short Guatemalan lady was even ruder! They don't respect their customers the people GIVING them their paychecks. They have a "B" rating, they charge .45 cents to use your card, and the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life! I'd rather drive to the donut shop on Ranchero in Oak Hills. This place is pretty good. My husbands loves their donuts. They are always fresh. They even have a coupon on the Fantastic Fundraising card, Buy any amount of donuts (1-10) and get the same amount free. You can get 6 donuts for $2.75. The girl that works there is always nice, too. read more

Went here today with my wife for breakfast. I got the ham and cheese croissant. The croissant was ok is why i gave them 2 stars but I couldn't taste any cheese and only the last few bits had any ham. Love this place! If I'm going to get donuts I'll drive up to main street instead of going to the donut place right up the street because it's that much better. The donuts always taste fresh and the (I believe he's the owner) is always so friendly. He always asks how are you and always throws in a free donut. The best, freshest donuts ever. Best in the High Desert that I have had. I have tried alot of other places. The people there are exceptionally, awesome with their customer service. I went there this am about 4:30. Bought a dozen and I got home had a donut and I gotta say it was awful. To me it seemed that it was sitting out for awhile. All the donuts I got were stale, little hard, not fresh at all. I wasted money going there.. plus there wasn't a variety to choose from. I went up to the Donut shop in Oak Hills to buy more. They had fresh ones all ready and a huge selection. I told this donut shop about where I went and was told probably been sitting in there since day before and just wanted to get money and not waste what they had left . Can't believe they would sell old donuts from the day before. Throw away and have fresh ones made. Just plain nasty. Never again will I go here and I will not suggest this place at all. I have to say, when it comes to their donuts, I would give them 5 stars. HOWEVER, their service sucked! We stopped by here on our drive back home from Vegas this past Sunday evening (Feb. 15). The lady that was working was quite rude. When I first walked in I wondered if anyone was even there. I saw a lady toward the back, thought she saw me, so, maybe not, so I said, "Hello". She said, "Okay" or something, and proceeded to wait. When she came out, she was not friendly at all. I felt like I had bothered her. Bought my donuts with the "tip jar" clearly visible. I am generally quite a good tipper, I must admit, but not this time. I gave her "nada", which was what she deserved for her attitude. I went to the restroom which the toilet was stuffed with paper. As I came out to let her know about it, she was over by where the donuts are, mopping the floor. She continued mopping with her head down, didn't even bother looking up at me and just said, "Okay". It was pretty apparent that she was already aware of it but obviously just didn't care. I don't care how good the donuts are, I can find just as good or even better donuts with much better service elsewhere and I suggest you do the same. read more

i really do recomend this place to everyone because the donuts taste fress & the girl that works there in the am her name is sarai she has great customer service....i live in vegas & got stranded in hesperia so im waiting on tow truck to get here to head back to vegas, but if i ever come to hesperia this is the best place to eat a donut with coffee or hot chocolate...i promise u wont regret coming here specially if sarai is the one attending u...thanks sarai for everything.... read more

My husband was fueling the car so I was drawn to the doughnut shop like a moth to a flame...they looked amazing but I've been fooled before...first bite in the car and I knew I needed to leave a review! Delicious coconut cake donut! Right amount of crunch on outside and moist on the inside. They do it right! Give this place a try. While getting gas, I had a craving for something sweet. I grabbed a donut and headed down the hill...Great and fresh....Upon returning up the hill, I stopped and bought a dozen of glades (round). I have bought here now 3 or 4 times and reviewing my credit card statement, I was charged twice $9.00 and once $7.00. Last night when I stopped by and got a dozen of glades (round), the woman AGAIN charged me $9.00. While she was packing the donuts, I was looking at the prices. I asked her why is it that every time I come in I'm being charged a different price? She quickly realized her mistake and charged me $8.00. I asked if the dozen of round glades is $6.99, what's the extra $1.00 for, she stated tax and credit card fee. I won't be buying from this SLIK one again. The donuts are awesome and I give it 5 stars and I can eat a dozen by myself, well hell I do, but I don't like the money game being played at this establishment. Neil's is awesome! So fresh and delicious! We are traveling and discovered Neil's east off I-15 and Main, a block east of Springhill Suites and across from Starbucks. So glad we didn't get a Starbucks pastry and instead got Neil's. They are so friendly too. Highly recommend this little yummy spot! where to start. we decided to get gas after i got out of work and stopped by this little donut shop. i was so disgusted by what i seen. ants walking all over the donuts. i told the employee which he replayed to me " i told the girl from the mornings to not use the tray" so i pointed other trays that also had ants as well. he told me to leave and go to another shop. very rude' honestly i wouldn't send anyone or ever recommend this place to anyone read more
