Little do they know we have Apple Valley Donuts, one best donut shops I have had. They make a good yeast donut, but don't sleep on their cake donuts. Literally the best I have had. The donuts were pretty good. The only thing that made me upset is that she charges extra for jelly donuts for the half dozen box yet I got halfway through my donut and there's still no jelly. What's the point of paying extra when there's a tiny bit of jelly in the end of the donuts? Customer service was very stale as well. read more

First time I went here in the late afternoon they were pretty much sold out and by the time the lady in front of me picked every last one I was interested in, there was no glazed, filled or fancy left so I walked out. I came back the next day in the morning and there was not much more of a selection to my suprise. I got a few and they were excellent, not my favorite in the area, also the service is lacking a bit. This is my go to place for Donuts. I absolutely love the French crullers and butter milk bars. For awhile I was stuck on the Apple fritters but now I'm hooked on the other two. I've had the other Donut places nearby but was always disappointed. This place always has fresh donuts which is why I keep coming back. Before today, I was a long term customer at this donut shop. I bought a dozen donuts and took them home to my family which includes two toddlers. I found a bug in my donut. You could clearly see that this bug was cooked inside this donut. I tried to call them to tell them about it but their number doesn't work. So I went back to the shop and showed them the donut with the bug still in it. The older lady at the counter threw the donut away, didn't want to give me a refund, didn't want to call the owner, and didn't want to give me the owners information or tell me when he would be in the shop to speak with him myself. Finally after much arguing, she called the "owner" which was supposedly her son. After she argued with him in another language, she said "here, you talk to him" and shoved her phone in my hand. I explained to him the situation. I was most frustrated that I let my kids eat these donuts and now I was afraid that they had been exposed to eating bugs! He didn't seem to care, nor did his mother. He told me that people take their donuts home and put bugs in them for refunds, so he will refund it this one time. I told him there won't be another time. So thanks for calling me a liar. He asked to talk to his Mom, they argued some more in another language, she took out 9 dollars and hesitated on the remaining sixty cents saying that I bought a drink and not just donuts, when I didn't. I told her I can tell you exactly which donuts I bought to get to that total. She gave me the rest of the money and when I asked for my receipt back, she said "no, I gave you your money back." So she wouldn't give it to me. I had to snatch it out of her hands to take a picture of it. Then she started yelling to her son on the phone and I left. They made a mistake by letting a bug slip into their food, and wouldn't correct it by pleasing their customer. I won't be going back. read more
