This place is crazy good. By far my favorite donut shop in the High Desert. The first time I had a Raspberry Fritter, I couldn't believe how good it was. There is a great variety and they even offer insanely huge versions of pastries like the cinnamon roll for example. Got the opportunity to sample their bear claw, along with their ham & cheese jalapeño croissant. Let me tell you, both real awesome and a definite must try.No disappointment at all. All true as stated, huge variety of carefully crafted donuts. Definitely larger than most, however they have this unique flavor that keeps me wanting more. I love it when you can come to a doughnut shop and also get a Thrifty banana split. I didn't, but I could have. Instead, I split a Valentines sprinkle doughnut with my kiddo, and also had an iced coffee which was a super reasonable $2.99 for 16oz. Service was handled with a smile, and she was so accommodating in asking how I'd like my coffee prepared. They take card payments, which is sometimes not an option at a doughnut shop. P.S. I have been here twice. The first time I came in was pretty late in the afternoon, probably around 5 or 6 so I didn't have my expectations high because usually the later you go, the quality of the donuts drops. To my surprise, there was a huge selection of donuts. They were cute and plentiful and there was a huge donut which really caught my attention. The lady that attended us seemed bothered by us, hardly spoke to us and was just straight faced. We ordered half a dozen and she said she'd give us 3 free donuts so we thought that was awesome. All of the donuts we got were fantastic. They were all sweet and fresh. The second time we came in was earlier at about 11am. We were attended by a different woman this time with even worse customer service. She glared at us and when we asked questions she'd answer in a snarky way. It seemed very stand off-ish. I thought that since we were coming in earlier there would be more selection but it was very very limited. There was no classic chocolate donuts which was weird to me because I think that would be the most popular item. We settled for other chocolate donuts like the cake and mochi ones. This time we ordered a dozen. Again, all the donuts were fantastic. I think their consistency in the quality is great. The customer service needs a huge face lift and I'd suggest having classic chocolate donuts at all times would be a major plus. read more

Oh glorious donuts, how I love thee! Neil's knocks it out of the park with their flavors, selection, service, and quality. These donuts are fabulous; they literally melt in your mouth. I have had the privilege of visiting this donut shop twice now at very different times (once in the early morning and once in the early afternoon), and each time their donuts were extremely fresh and perfect. They must make them fresh constantly because the case is always full of delicious looking treats. The store itself is small but packs a punch of deliciousness. The service is super friendly and efficient. They offer a bakers dozen and when you buy 6 you get a 7th, so that's a bonus! Prices are great for the quality and portion sizes. They have giant donuts too if you have a big appetite! Along with donuts they have drinks, pastries, and ice cream; all of which looked quite good as well. I had the chance to meet Jared, the owner of Neil's Donuts, recently through a Marketplace advertisement I had posted. I had never heard of his shop so I decided to check it out at 445am last Thursday. They were open for business before 5 am which was great. I was greeted by three smiling employees seperately as they were busy setting up for their day, and I loved the shops atmosphere. I was impressed with the variety and presentation of their donuts; so much to choose from! I bought a dozen to take home plus a bag of sprinkled donut holes that were displayed neatly and tied up with ribbon by the register, which I opened and sampled soon as I got in my car. Yum! So good and fresh. When I checked out I mentioned that I had recently met Jared to his employee, and that evening I received a text from Jared thanking me for coming in! I stopped in Tuesday to order 100 doughnut holes for a Children's Christmas present day on Saturday. I'd be stopping in about 7:30am to pick them up. They had them boxed and ready to go when I got there. All the volunteers had at least one. They were so fresh and tasty! WAY TO GO NEIL'S DOUGHNUTS! Very disappointed! I went here because on line it said they had Bearclaws. I was so excited when I walked out with two of them. I almost choked. These weren't Bearclaws, they are apple filled glazed donuts in the shape of a bearclaw. A Bearclaw Always has an almond filling. The least they could do is put a sign on them stating APPLE FILLING.
