We had this delicious bbq from Wrights! Every meat in the family tray was delicious. The bbq sauce was great! We had 5 adults and two small children and had a good amount of left over food. We ordered a brisket plate, nachos, and two drinks and it was $57 with tip. Oh, and I should mention that it was all self-service. I find it manipulative at a self-service restaurant that you ask me for a tip when you don't actually provide service other than pushing a tray of food towards me on a counter. I'd say that's part of your job and what I am paying for in the price of my food. The nachos were great; good flavor and large portion. The brisket plate had two small slices of meat. Overall, the food was good concerning flavor, but I am disappointed in the pricing and tip practice when it is completely self-service. For the price of lunch being $57- I'd hope to receive some type of service. read more

Wright's as established themselves as the go to place for BBQ in the Northwest AR area and the reviews on yelp along with the images that you see justify the quality of a meal that you will receive at Wright's. My family and I ordered the moist brisket, pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, potato salad, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese. When it comes to the brisket at Wright's it has all of the characteristics you want: moist, tenderness, smoke ring, and flavor. Their brisket is served thick cut and when brisket is cut thick, you know they are confident in the tenderness since you would easily be able to pull apart the meat. I am a cynic when it comes to sides ordered from a BBQ joint, but you will notice the macaroni is cooked al dente, so you won't have mushy Mac and cheese. I'm also a sucker for mashed potatoes, and they are not bland and you can taste the garlic flavor infused with their mash that's whipped up, with some texture to it. Visiting from Vegas so anytime I'm in the south I try to find good bbq. Ended up doing Togo due to a huge snow storm but their food was incredible . Did a 1/2 brisket plate with Mac and cheese and smoked beans and everything was great . Brisket was a little different than Texas style but aaa very flavorful and juicy . The beans had some spice and the Mac and cheese was not too chessey so it paired very nice with everything . Might not be the best bbq in the states but has to be the best bbq in Arkansas read more

I've argued many times, NW Ark has good BBQ, but we lack that world class venue. Wright's has forced my hand, I no longer have such an argument. I bet I've tried a couple hundred bbq restaurants or more. Hands down, Wright's is king. I typically rate bbq based on two primary factors - my personal favorite dishes: 1) brisket. 2) beans. The bacon burnt ends here are easily the best brisket I've had anywhere, and the sliced brisket is easy top five. The bbq beans are incredibly firm, spicy, not too sweet, slow cooked with smoky, tender brisket. Unbeatable. The green beans were a ridiculous surprise, sweet, buttery, heavenly. Street corn could be a meal by itself. Sausage, chicken, pulled pork, all as good or better them ANY other ARK restaurant I've tried. Iced tea fresh, perfect. Cold beer, great local Kraft selections. I'm enjoying open air live music here right now, as I write this review. It's like a perfect food and entertainment storm. I'd pitch a tent and just flipping stay here if they'd let me!! Got there at 11:30 and there was a line but it's worth it! I got ribs, burnt tips and pulled pork - it's was all yummuylious!! The Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were oh so good!! The baked beans were abit to spicy for me. Inside there are two rooms which are used for dining. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Go by yourself or with the family - there's kids meals as well. This is a must go if anywhere around the area, I go each time I visit and it is definitely one of my favorites in NWA! One of the main reasons I love it is because of the cool atmosphere paired with the great food. It would be one thing to have amazing BBQ, but this place has that awesome hole-in-the-wall feel along with it. The first time I visited Fayetteville I went to the original location and was obsessed immediately. My girlfriend even ended up getting me a Wright's shirt to rep while back in Columbus cause I couldn't stop talking about wanting to go back next time I visited. Had a great experience at Wright's BBQ while on a day trip from Kansas City. Coming from the BBQ mecca, I had high standards and Wright's didn't disappoint one bit. The line moved very fast and the employees were engaging and nice. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage, mac & cheese, potato salad, and 1/2 pound of bacon burnt ends.
