I have reviewed here before - a few times - but I couldn't help it to review again. The amount of food that we purchased and received was a mountain that more than fed (leftovers even) a family of 4! Their meal deals like we got tonight are not to be missed and these entries and sides are fantastic ! Krunchy Shrimp with Raspberry sauce and Ribs that melt in your mouth and fall of the bone. Excellent food - really some of the best and especially for the money! Don't miss a visit here if you're in the area! We have been eating here for 30 years and NEVER had a bad meal. Excellent service and atmosphere - I feel sure it will be a treat!

Such a busy and loud location. A lot of people came by. We had reservation and I would suggest to have one as volume of people is large. Food was pretty good. I ordered bbq chicken pizza and requested extra crispy crust . My request was granted and I received pizza just the way I like it, thin and crispy. I enjoyed it. I found it a bit odd to use cheddar cheese but luckily it was fine. My daughter ordered a wrap and waffle fries. She enjoyed her meal too. Portions were huge. Our waitress was super nice . I would definitely return if in the area.

This restaurant was conveniently located within walking distance of our hotel. It is large, so plenty of room for a group. We were seated promptly with no wait when we went on a Monday night. Our waitress was great. Reviews recommended the skillet queso, but I didn't care for it. But that's ok because it was part of a 3 course meal for two, and the other two courses were great. My chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes were spot on. We ended the meal with the strawberry stack which was the perfect ending to our meal.

Great service!!! The bread was delicious with the butter drenched in the pan for our first bite along with my salad with a the restaurants version of ranch which did not disappoint bit it was the mess sundae that stole the show. Best Sundae I have had.

Ultimate Jambalaya Pasta

I had the ultimate jambalaya pasta and was so fire! Service by Rob was on point NY Cheese cake was on point

Raspberry chicken, slab of ribs, mashed red potatoes and Parmesan broccoli. Very tasty!

First time here and was very satisfied with the food, service and overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Lots of items to choose from which helps if you have picky eaters. We had a group of 8 and were seated in a reasonable amount of time on a busy night.

Flaming Queso was ... fire. Best club sandwich I've had 8n a while too. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was chill if crowded.

Service and food was A+++. Wait for a table was less than 30 minutes during a busy Sat dinner service.

Food: Very good, but overpriced, comparable to same offerings available at other restaurants…read more Service: Excellent! The primary hostess was very accommodating and apologetic for the long wait after we were seated. Our server was very thoughtful, and was very informed about the food preparation. Ambiance: This is what keeps me from rating Gaskins a five star restaurant. It was so loud we were literally yelling at one another to try to carry on a conversation. We, three of us, were so looking forward to our dinner, but it was almost impossible to enjoy because of the difficulty we had communicating with one another.

It was our anniversary and first time going to Gaskins. Did not disappoint! Was a great experience!…read moreBar tenders spot in. Made me a Smokey manhattan and they knew to stir not shake. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious. For dinner I had the prime rib, baked potato and side of mushrooms, I ordered medium rare and it was perfect! Although, I probably only ate about 5 oz and was 14oz cut. My husband ordered the pork chop dinner and he said delicious and tender. The bread was an add on but so worth it. Staff was friendly and our waiter, Dan was very knowledgeable on the wine list. We even had the opportunity to meet the owner Mr. Jones. Bert first name I think. They gave us a complimentary dessert for our occasion. Pistachio Tiramasu. Delicious. Ambience a plus! They are opening an Italian restaurant in two weeks. Can't wait! We will for sure be back!

Concrete floors, industrial ceiling, metal chairs and tables and an open kitchen. It's very nice, but it just wasn't what I expected. They have team service, and I like the idea of it. But in practice, it was initially bumpy and overwhelming. We got asked for our drink order like 3 times, by 3 different people in less than 5 minutes. The service itself was preventing me from being able to read the menu! There are some unique cocktails, so I actually needed to focus and read about them. Our food was really, really good. We ordered a couple appetizers (wish they had fresh spring rolls in addition to the fried ones), and my husband had the Crying Tiger Steak, which was mouthwatering (though pretty fatty/gristly -- could've used a tad more butchering). Both the appetizers and my husband's steak came with specific instructions from the server of how to eat it properly: first put this on it, then add this, etc. It's not my favorite when chefs tell me HOW to eat their food. Can I just eat it? And figure it out for myself, how I like it? We aren't from Arkansas, and from what I can see, House 1830 is not a typical local restaurant, which is great. The chef was out of the country when we were there (at a food competition?), so not sure how that factored in to our visit. I'd recommend going there -- just wanted to clarify some things from other reviewers.

The menu changes frequently, but the chef's heritage always shines through. We especially love the duck dishes, creative seafood preparations, and flavorful cuts of meat. Our all-time favorite, though, is the crème brûlée. We've come in just to sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail and that dessert--it's that good. The service is every bit as memorable as the food. Bailey has taken care of us many times and is a wealth of knowledge. She describes each dish with thoughtful details that give you an even greater appreciation for the ingredients and preparation. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there last night, and I was so touched to find a bouquet and a lovely handwritten note waiting at our table. A special shout-out to Viva, whose wonderful service and enthusiasm helped make our evening so memorable. Welcome to the Bienvenue family, Viva! The escargot was cooked perfectly and sitting in a piece of handmade bread soaked in butter. The bread was almost as good as the escargot. My wife said her salad was very good. I then had the red fish which was cooked perfectly and it was 2 large filets, I could barely eat both. The mashed potatoes were too runny for me, I prefer them thicker. My wife had the beef bourguignon and it was also cooked perfectly. We finished with a peach pastry that was so good, I might go back just for that. Service was good and the price was better than expected.
