We came here in October when fall season festivities were in full swing, and had a lot of fun! There were many kids and family activities such as a corn maze, apple cannon, tube slide, pedal bikes, cow train ride, pumpkin patch, barnyard animals, and more. Most of these are included in the price of admission except for the pony rides, apple cannon, and pumpkin picking. If you're lucky and timely, you'll also catch the candy cannon blast, which the children eagerly await and sprint toward the candy sprayed across the field! They sell apple cider donuts, beer, and some basic food. A nice feature is that there are proper bathrooms and sinks to wash up in here, in addition to the porta potties which is all that most farms have. There is plenty of parking, and no reservation or advance admission is required, though you can secure your ticket in advance online if you wish. read more

I don't know that Wright is a Maze ing, but it was sure a trip for the two of us. We stopped on by because the "sunflower maze" from last time was not a maze at all, and we knew Wright is an actual maze each year. With the entry fee paid, we decided to enjoy as much of the farm as we could. We looked at the petting zoo (not much to do, the goats were being happily fed already), the race course (all kids' vehicles, sadly), the apple cannon (extra fee, more fun to watch than to shoot we thought)... So you get the idea, adults maybe are more limited to the maze and the local products for sale in the payment area. So the maze: Like others have said, it's gotten overgrown. Unlike the top places (Cherry Crest in PA), Wright does not clear all the maze paths. It's not just hard to tell whether a path is a dead end or not, or whether it's actually a path or just a cut through some broken stalks; it's hard to just walk some of the paths due to the wet overgrown grass and weeds. Looking beyond path condition, there are two mazes (or at least were in 2025), an easier A and a harder B maze. The B maze was bigger but we were done in 10 minutes, and only had 3 clues to follow if we wanted to. (The solvable clues are "What is the answer to this question? A. Turn left. B. Turn right. C. Turn left." So even without knowing the anwer, just pick the choice that is different.) Jeez, the A maze must be super easy. Nope. We got hopelessly lost there. The one hint we needed to get ourselves found had 4 clues, two Turn Lefts and two Turn Rights. Without knowing the answer (what percent of... something), we kept finding ourselves back at this sign. The path conditions did not help us navigate, and unlike Cherry Crest, you don't get a maze puzzle to put together and help you get out, so you can actually get yourself very lost in there. Fortunately, we eventually found ourselves skipping ahead from Clue 2 to Clue 4, and made our way out a solid 45 sunburned minutes later. Fun story, right? So then we said, let's go catch a hayride while we're here. We were the only ones on, it took us up barely past the maze and then turned around. That was it, the pumpkin patch was just past the maze after all that. So I let my lady down... to incredible rudeness from the driver because we undid the latch and the stairs ourselves instead of waiting for him. I admit I should not have done that, but he should have been a TINY bit nicer about it. Verdict: Pumpkin patch yes. Kid stuff yes. Maze no. Service no. Nice little local collection of goods in the entryway. I will quote another review I see from another Elite: "This farm is nothing spectacular." But it's good enough to bring the kids for a half day out. read more

This farm is nothing spectacular, but it's perfect for a great family fun day! Pony rides, peddle carts, goats and donkeys to feed, corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin patch and much more to see and do. The food truck had a variety of things- hot dogs, cheese burgers, Mac and cheese and MORE! The prices are reasonable but the $3 charge of a bottle of soda or water was a stretch. They have a small beer/wine garden to help the adult attendees get through the day :) ! Of course they have all of the fall favorites available for purchase like freshly made kettle corn and apple cider donuts. I've been to this farm twice already and I thoroughly enjoyed myself each time. Although there's plenty of great photo opts available, I highly suggest leaving the brand new fall outfits home! Great little farm. They had a lot of activities to do, but don't think you're going there for a pumpkin picking. Food was a bit expensive for hot dog and chicken tenders but you can bring your own food in. Kids had a blast. I would suggest it more toward younger ones under 6. But the 12 year old had a good time with us too. read more

Went apple picking here. The bags were $20 and could fit 8-10 apples. Tons of apples to choose from, although the different types were not always labeled. Highly recommend making A day out of this - plenty of room for a picnic and they also have a brewery attached. The apple cider donuts are very good read more

Our experience last weekend was terrible! Upon arrival we were harassed about having our wristbands on b/c we (people of color) cannot be trusted. We left immediately and will never step foot in this establishment ever again. So I absolutely do not recommend! read more

This review is specific to the corn maze. They have other activities for younger kids, pumpkin picking (in a nice looking patch), and some minimal food. You have to stand on one line to buy any of these options, and as a result the line gets long. They should really change that back to the old way where you pay at each attraction, which resulted in no lines. The corn maze is huge and they have themed clues throughout to help you along. We go here after apple picking and lunch and the kids love it. The size is impressive and really makes for a fund adventure for the kids. They are old enough to go in alone now and really enjoy it. read more

The website makes this place look so nice, but when you actually go, there's nothing there. Decided to go on a day grandma got in for free, so my mother and daughter were free (since she's only 17 months old), or else I would of been pissed if we had to all pay to get in. There's like 3 sad goats and a donkey.. Nowhere does it say where to get food to feed the animals.. the people next to us were giving the poor animals grass. We finally realized you have to go to the main shed to buy the food. (They should have signs or dispensers). We paid $5 for my daughter to go on a pony ride (we had to go back up to the shed to get a coin in order to ride).. the kid went in a tiny circle twice and it was over. My daughter loved the cow tractor ride, but it took forever for the kid to get up from the picnic table after I asked if he was doing the ride He told me in 5 minutes. He was just sitting on his a** chatting. Other than that, there was nothing else there. Some rinky-dink peddle bikes that were filthy, and a tube thing you run 2 feet in back and fourth. The website makes the place look so nice. So I decided to drive an hour to Warwick from Westchester. We were the second family to arrive on a cloudy morning. The pumpkin patch was very weak barely any nice pumpkins. Not what I expected at all. We couldn't finish the corn maze because they did not maintain it so we kept going in circles. The area to buy food was NOT appealing at all. My mother wanted a cup of coffee but it just didn't look clean. Since we didn't see people buying food we figured it would not be good. I did see a lot of people with drinks from Dunkin Donuts or from other places. The area where the kids play is cute, but some of the equipment was broken and dirty so it need to be updated. Overall, the place needs a little more TLC. read more

I have never experienced such a hassle free event, in my life. Kerry was outstanding! Since the very first time we did a walk through, until the moment we left, you provided us with amazing service. The family was so welcoming and warm to us and all of our guests. The property is beautiful! I highly recommend the wright family farm for any birthday party, or just for spending the day with your family. We had our son's birthday here and the kids loved every minute of it. Wow -- we had a GREAT time here! We were 2 families who came together, and our little kids (3, 4 and 5 years old) had a blast. Lots of activities, plenty of room to run around, and a huge pumpkin patch full of pumpkins of all sizes and descriptions. Plus the people who work here really couldn't be nicer -- they made us feel welcome and at ease. We have a whole bunch of pictures (and pumpkins) as souvenirs. read more

Nice little place for young children. We did the activities, cow train, and had lunch there. Kids were too worn out after lunch, so skipped the pumpkin patch. The equipment needs updating - very worn and weathered. The carts for kids to use were old and one was missing peddles. Food available was basic but good. read more

The Write family does a GREAT. Job with the holiday season and all year but especially when it comes to the trees , we have always gotten a beautiful tree for a reasonable price , the trees are healthy and don't shed pine needles everywhere . The farm is also currently selling fresh ( frozen ) farm raised beef that BLOWS. My mind the burgers are amazing ! Give them a try !! read more

Had a great time with the corn maze then play area near the front of the farm. Completed the corn maze with 3 year old and 8 year old. The 10 check points helped keep the kids interest, took us about 1hr 45 min, but could have left early if kids lost interest. Play area out front is fun, a lot fun things to do that other farms in the area don't have; giant tube slide, hamster tube, race track, cow themed tractor pull, etc. The people were very nice! read more

Purchased a ticket on groupon. Took the day off from work drove two hours to get up there only to learn that they only accept group tours during the week, individuals are for weekends only. It never stated that on their website. The dumb b#%ch behind the counter didn't know what she was doing and said she only helps out ocassionally. Since then we've attempted to go up there two more times but every time we attempt to go we call in advance and nobody answers the phone. I don't know how this establishment remains in business. The Wright family kindly welcomed us on an "off" weekday, a Friday (yesterday) and did everything to make us feel as important as the girl and boy scouts who were enjoying their day. It truly is a family farm, smaller than the more commercial places but everything you need for a perfect pumpkin picking day. Nothing is overpriced and over promised like other places that charge for bags, entry fees and hay rides. There are tokens for pony rides and other activities, but the base of a great pumpkin picking day is free (you must pay for the pumpkins you cut and take home of course). There's two pumpkin fields. Mr Wright drove us via a hay ride (also free) to one of the fields and there were still pumpkins (about the size of a soccer ball) for everyone to be cut, even at this time of the season. Nothing was pre-picked and placed in the field. They have an extensive maze to keep you busy for hours too, (there is a charge for this), they have farm animals to feed and a kids play area. It took us about 1hr 20min to drive there from NYC, which was also a relief as all my friends told me I would need to drive at least 2 hours to have a decent pumpkin experience. We left very happy with our pumpkin picking day and for the first time I felt I wasn't ripped off. read more

Went for a fall season day trip. Did not pay to visit the corn maze. Was very disappointed with everything we did see. Workers were of no help in guiding you to any of the farm's offerings. The snack bar is simply food bought at the supermarket, put into plastic containers, and then slapped with a outrageous price. The animals are kept in quarters that are not cleaned regularly. The pumpkin patch was littered with smashed-open pumpkins, which were rotting, as well as actual litter. I know this is a farm, but there was no pride of ownership. read more
