This place is great!!! PROs: lots of activities that keep you entertained as you walk around, lots of food options/tents, large - but not too large (walkable), decent parking space, didn't feel packed/overcrowded, beautiful atmosphere with the mountains, enjoyed the hayride to the pumpkin patch, lots of great photo ops, enjoyed the cardinal rides (Ferris wheel was fun) CONs: expensive..., a lot of dust in the air being blown up from the ground (my contacts kept bothering me). I know there's not much they can do about that, but just wanted to point it out. It was also a windy day, so possible that it's not always that dusty. Bring cash - some stands are cash only, but many take credit cards.

Came back for our annual fall festival. Always enjoy the pig races. Canine show was great. Always need to go on hay ride. Food is ok. Like the wine samplers sold. Beautiful day to be out ,

We were looking at some early fall activities and saw that Heaven Hill offered some nice options. Their website was very informative and they received constistently great online reviews over the past few years. While I was skeptical at first due to the prices (tickets are $15-22 online depending on the day of the week and about $4 more if you choose to buy on site), I saw that there were a lot of activities included so we decided to give it a try. Many places will charge base "admission" tickets which only allows you entrance...and then force you to pay al la carte for literally everything else...not this place. There were so many activities included in the general admission tickets: dog show, pig race, obstacle courses, corn maze, sports throws, sling shot, rally carts....and more. The only thing you have to pay for is the carnival-style rides and the apple cannon ($10 for 10 apples) and paintball ($7 for 75 paint balls)...both the apple cannon and paint ball activities were really fun. The short tractor ride was bumpy but fun. It takes you to and from the pumpkin picking area...the pumpkin prices were not as expensive as we expected. The pumpkin area was emptier and spacious...great for snapping pictures of the little ones without having lots of people in the photos. Parking was very organized and easy. The store had lots of goodies; sodas, fruits, veggies, frozen treats, and candy. They also have a fresh bakery section where they sell baked goods, pies and apple cider donuts. They also have an ice cream section as well...the ice cream was pretty good. They do have a hot food area where they sell chicken fingers, fries, burgers, hot dogs nd other stand-style items. I cannot comment on the prices of those items...the lines were fairly long on a Saturday afternoon and moved quite slowly...but that is to be expected on busier days. All staff we encountered, from the parking staff to the ticket window people to the ride staff to the store clerks were all great. Very helpful and friendly. One suggestion I would make is for the corn maze. We went on the first day (September 17th) but it seems like a lot of the corn maze was down...there were sections where the maze aisles weren't clear...making it difficult to choose a path. Those areas may need to be touched up...if possible.

We had so much fun at Heaven Hill Farm's Great Pumpkin Festival. Both adults and children will enjoy it, they even have wine tasting. I loved watching the dog, walking through the corn maze and doing all the activities. Food was good as well just a bit pricey. The best part was drinking that apple cider slushy!

I went with my boyfriend and we got there late at 2ish on a Saturday. Main admission in September online was $25 for each person I think. For 2, $50 something for the basic admission. You can see which pass works better for you and your family. It was filled. The girls bathroom was gross and it only had three stalls. And one stall was gross. The baby changing station was outside and it was gross. Bathrooms close early and bring wipes and hand sanitizer if you use the port a potties. It's more of a kids thing. Hayrides and maze with other games like ball games or anything you throw are free and included with admission. Wine tasting was $7 for 4 samples. Fair rides use card tokens to enter. It depends which ride you want to do. 8 tickets for the Ferris wheel and another we did was 6 tickets and you can reload with packages of $20 or more or just do $1 loads, but pay a $2 extra fee. Food was alright but pricey. Shish kabobs for one were $8 with bread. Pies were $17 each were good. They sell tiny apple cider containers and by the gallon(forgot the price). We also got the caramel apples with nuts. The hayride is like a shuttle bus that takes you to the pumpkin patch, apple cannons/paintball, and the main festival location. Oh yeah, I brought cash, but if you want to do the Apple cannons/paintball you have to pay with card. I think it was 14 apples for $10 and I didn't look at the paintball but both had to be with card. You pay for pumpkins by weight I believe. They also have carts and I would come early on weekends so you don't park so far away from the farm. It was hot when we went. Check the weather before you go. We overdressed, but it got cold at night. We would probably go back if we ever have kids since it was more for kids. Maybe if you don't want to spend money on food, bring your own lunch and save up if you want to spend. Just for two people, with pies apple cider, shish kabobs and 2 rides and snacks, we paid around $150-200.

Tubes of paintball rounds. 2 for $10.

Per person is $20 to get in. We brought 2 adults and 4 kids. You pay to get in and the rides are front and center when you walk into the pay area, so no avoiding them. They cost tickets to ride. Of course the kids want to ride rides instead of the free ball toss and animal viewing. We bought the largest bundle of tickets $26 for $30. Seems reasonable until you see the rides are 3-6 tickets each. So we bought $78 in tickets total for everyone to get the same amount of rides and you end up w/2 unusable tickets to give away. Paintball is $10 for two 8inch long by 3in wide PVC pipe tubes full of rounds. The tractor takes you to paintball but you have to walk back through a muddy field. Your feet will get wet. Do not buy the $18 pies, I've tasted better frozen grocery stores pies. The peach one tasted like peach perfume. Strong scent and bitter fake peach taste, honestly I would have given them more stars if their pies were good. I just felt thoroughly ripped off when I tasted this absolute crap. I wouldn't verify because I have standards but my teen son says Mcds makes better pies. Zeppoles are $17. Small cotton candy $7, large $12. Small caramel apple is $8. Gem Mining is $10 a bag. Pony rides $10. Pros: It's a beautiful property. Everyone is incredibly nice. Kids have fun no matter what. Garden store collectibles are decently priced and well-presented. Boys loved the free pitching radar that shows your pitching speed. The brownies were good but the sprinkles are rock hard. Kettle corn was the best ever! BUT In the future I'll buy a ticket to Paris instead.

Preparing food without gloves or mask.

Go cart rides were sanitized between uses but masks and gloves were not worn while preparing food. There were a lot of people there but everything was SO spaced out that it never felt crowded. Portable bathrooms were clean and didnt smell. Had a great pumpkin selection. Two more downsides... i thought they had corn on the cob but they only had popcorn.. i saw it advertised that they had corn on the cob so thats disappointing. Also, no one on the staff knew when the cider was made since it was outsourced from Ochs Orchard. Anyone who drinks cider knows that makes a big difference! Everyone was respectful of eachothers personal space and there was so much to offer. Id come back.. maybe bring my own food but definitely id come back! Edit: one day after leaving my review, i was contacted by the man who prepared the pizza and was threatened to be sued if i didnt take it down. I guess he doesnt think he can contaminate the pizza even after he pulls it from the oven, cuts and plates them all because "he doesnt have direct contact with customers." I suppose in his personal life covid-19 goes duck duck goose and skips over him! Ha! Photo below on what he messaged me for all those curious!

Went on a weekend 15.99$ plus 1.99$ tax per person. They were carousels ( extra charges) , hayride, corn maze, petting animals , pedal cars and pumpkin patch. It was nice, little pricey I felt. Also way too many peope at this COVID times. Apple cider donuts were good , not the best amd can be purchased at the outside farm store. My recommendations 1) dress in layers as it can get windy 2) get enough quarters to buy feed for the petting animals in case you are travelling with kids 3) pumpkin are 69c per lb. You can buy them cheaper at a grocery store. But definitely I recommend going here. It was fun. Parking is free

Is there apple picking there?

No there is not, there is pumpkin picking only. I believe there are apple farms close by in Warwick N.Y.

Now that the kids are older, I heard that they have events for adults at night during fall weekends. I went Saturday night and really enjoyed myself. My wife did also, we made this event our date night and will most likely be back either on a date or with friends. All of the employees were extremely nice and the farm was lit up and decorated beautifully. The choices of food and drinks (alcohol and nonalcoholic) were great. Each food and beverage option was clearly thought out by the owners to make their guests get into the Autumn and Halloween season. There is a gift shop that is filled with country items and different little knickknacks and tasty bites. You enter through the store, so I would recommend buying your stuff before your night begins so they do not run out of stock. There were fires pits and a band that played all night. The band was perfect! They were not loud and just played the right type of music for the atmosphere. I have been to a lot of outside venues like this one and the bands are either too loud or play music that is "just not right". The band Pierson's had was very low key but were excellent musicians and the lead singer had a great voice and their choice of songs were perfect for the atmosphere. The prices for drinks, food and gift shop items are in line with prices at other events of this type in the area. Thank you Pierson's staff and owners for providing such a great event. Have more please!!

This by far the best Bed & Breakfast that I've been to over the last few years. Stone Oak is a peaceful tree farm and cozy barn that shines the spirit of Christmas. Each room is decorated so nicely. Natalie and Rich were friendly, welcoming and offered us activities nearby (breweries, wineries, cideries, hiking locations), although we spent our evenings by the fireplace sipping on hot chocolate. Fresh garland wreaths, roping, Christmas accessories and railroad gifts are also for sale in the barn, "Christmas Junction". Dave and Lynn Beck are good family friends so even though there are 3 or 4 other tree farms close by, we always go to Beck's. It is a tradition to go after church on a Sunday afternoon and pick our tree. Um, most people drive home with their tree tied to the roof of their car. My family is NOT like most people. Dad feels it's much easier to uh, drive our John Deere tractor/wagon here and load it up in the wagon so we can forgo the hassle of tying it to our car. It's been a little different since my brother and I left the nest as the tree is usually up when we get home from Penn State or DC, respectively. When I moved to DC and bought a fresh tree 2 years ago, I was astounded by the $50 price tag. A 4-5 foot tree for $50!? Not the case at Beck's. I believe the price is between $40-45 for a 6 or 7 foot tree which is amazing. Beck's also has a huge pile of garland behind the barn that patrons are free to take as much as they want. Mom usually takes a few pieces to assemble mini trees that she puts on our front porch as decorations. Go to Beck's for your Christmas trees. It's worth it. But you don't have to bring your tractor...you can just bring a regular car or truck ;-). [PHOTOS] http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7p4m-QZKoAeVDK99Cvw1vQ?select=OwrLyYk8B0y7UkQxUPzfAg
