A wonderful, family owned, off-the-beaten track orchard. Amazing apples in lovely country setting. Country store with apple cider and other goodies. I highly recommend making the trip to this farm

Lovely little U-Pick Apple stop hidden on the back roads between other well known farms and orchards- it was only a small road sign that took us off our worn path. They make their own cider and had plenty of fresh cider in the fridge to take home. We were concerned a full gallon would be too much for us, so the owner offered to split a full gallon so that we could just take home a half gallon. A very nice gesture. :)

Apple picking in mid-September. We were able to pick gala, Macintosh, and Jonathon varieties as well as Asian pears.

Peaches were juicy. In the fall I picked up drops apples for our beef. Apples are crispy and sweet

Very nice orchard. 20 bucks a bag and you get all different apples. Clean. Nice staff.

I personally really enjoy that it's a few miles off the main highway and doesn't have all the bells and whistles of other orchards (hay rides, pumpkin slingshots, etc).

I visited over the weekend and was able to pick raspberries. The staff member who we spoke with wasn't sure if there would be enough to pick, but to my surprise there were a ton of ripe raspberries just waiting to be picked. I was easily able to fill up a carton. I just missed out on blueberries and blackberries, so I'll have to make a point to go back earlier next year. There were also baby pumpkins growing, so I'm sure in no time they'll be super busy for pumpkin picking. I also spied some jalepenos, peppers and eggplants growing in the fields. At the farm stand there is a huge selection of fresh flowers, fruits and veggies. I got a bunch of fresh red, yellow and green tomatoes. They were perfectly ripe and made the most delicious salad. Unfortunately I do not live near Valley View - otherwise I'd buy produce here all the time. But, I will say that it is worth it to come for the u-pick. I'll have to keep tabs on what's in season next year so that I don't miss out!

It was such a beautiful night, my parents and I came and we each got our own pizza. Pizza came out in maybe 15 minutes, we sat and waited and just chilled. It was a beautiful night. I am so appreciative that Windy Brow has a vegan cheese option, so I could be included! I got the Margherita pizza and subbed vegan cheese. The crust and dough were incredible - so fluffy, perfectly crispy, amazing thick crust. The vegan cheese was also great, and the sauce too. Just a perfect pizza. My dad got a regular Margherita and loved it, and my mom got the fungi pizza with mushrooms and was raving about it. My boyfriend got the pig and fig and (of course) loved it as well. We all raved to each other about how amazing everything was. For a farm to do something like this when they don't need to, shows that they love what they do! You can really feel the love in the pizza. We then got ice cream after since the ice cream stand was still open. I got the vegan dark chocolate sea salt (literally incredible, perfect consistency, I love hard ice cream so this was amazing), my boyfriend got Madagascar vanilla and said it was a perfect classic vanilla, my dad said the cherry vanilla was the best he's ever had, and my mom who doesn't love ice cream got the lemon blueberry butter cake and was raving about it. Phenomenal job!!!!! So appreciative to live near a spot like this. Blessings!

I was shocked by how good the ice cream was here. I got the peanut butter cup, which was filled with gooey gobs of peanut butter. It tasted fresh, like the peanut butter had been hand-whipped into the luscious vanilla base. The cone was fresh too, a tasty waffle cone that would pair nicely with many of their flavors. Beyond that, the women working the stand were all nice, and the prices were very reasonable. I got corn which was also quite good, and was a standard price so I didn't feel like I needed to buy a bunch just to get a bulk discount. I did also try the green valley farms labeled black cherry soda - that was probably the only 3/4 star experience for me, but would be perfect for someone who likes the flavor of black cherry soda without the carbonation of a brand like Stewart's.
