I really enjoyed visiting Secor Farms. Parking is right in front of the entrance and I appreciated the staff member directing every car to available parking spaces. All of the areas throughout the farm have a good flow and there is plenty of inventory to purchase everything from produce, food, Halloween decorations, and/or plants. Their staff members are friendly/helpful and enjoyed their quick service at checkout. Children will have an opportunity to feed the goats and customers will have hayrides available, for apple/pumpkin picking. Secor Farms has thought of everything and will be one of my go-to farms for the Fall season and beyond.

My family and I have been visiting Secor Farms for over five years. It's the perfect place to go pumpkin picking and buy some delicious produce, doughnuts, and pies! The hayride is a must do. We always buy our tickets ahead of time online. Hay barrels are decorated to match the most current Halloween movies and trends. Lots of pumpkin and squash selections. Fall decor is available too! The petting zoo is small but appropriate. The goats are really fun and cute to admire. I love buying the apple pie every year. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Keep in mind the farm is open prior to October. There's great seasonal events including just in time for the holidays. Looking forward to visiting again soon with my family.

I've been to Secor Farms twice this month. Love this farm in Mahwah and glad to have visited this Halloween season!

Super cute place! Such a wonderful atmosphere with nice employees. They have goats and bunnies. They also have hayrides that I have yet to try! The little farmers market is very nice. Got some chocolate chip cookies from there and they taste good once heated. just needs a little softening for my liking! But tastes good regardless!

This is an awesome farm that's usually less crowded than the others in Bergen County. I love it! I go there as soon as fall hits and do all the fun fall activities - pumpkin picking, hay rides, and corn mazes. And there are tons of cool lawn signs that make for great photo ops. Don't leave without buying the freshly baked cider donut with a warm cup of apple cider. This is what I would describe as the perfect day!

My partner planned a pumpkin picking date here at the end of October. We came on a Monday. It was Monday school was out, so there were a lot of kids there. Finding parking wasn't too difficult. We went inside and started looking at the items on sale. The prices were quite fair. I didn't find anything that I thought was overly priced. My partner purchased the hayride tickets online, so picking it up was easy and quick. We waited in line at 12:20pm for our 12:30pm right. I didn't matter that we were early because the hayride was full by the time it was our turn to pick a seat. It waited about 15 minutes for the next ride. The hayride from pick up location to the second pumpkin picking area was about a slow 10 minutes right. There are fun statues and arts to look at on the way there. The second location had two mazes and many photo opportunity spots. After taking a million pictures, we took the hayride back. I believe my partner said it was $17 per person. You can still enjoy this farm without the hayride. There are photo opportunities when you first enter. The only benefit of the hayride is seeing the fall foliage and taking more pictures. My partner and I purchased apple cider donuts, spaghetti squash, and butternut squash on the way out. The squash was about 30-40 cents more per pound than you would have paid at a farmer's market. All in all, I had a great time and would definitely come back next year.

This review is for their fall farm/pumpkin picking, etc. I wish I could give this farm a higher review score because I know they're trying. But there were a lot of disappointments for my family when we came here. First off, online it says there's a petting zoo. There is NO petting zoo. There is a LOOKING zoo. It has a bunch of goats in a fenced in area. You're not allowed to go in and pet them and they never get close enough to the fence for kids to pet them. Same with a few bunnies. The second disappointment was being "required" to purchase hayride timed tix online before you arrive. Which we did. It said they must be purchased ahead of time. So when we arrived, we got in line as one would expect with pre-purchased tickets. THEN, as soon as it was our turn to get on the ride, the kid said we need to go get physical tickets. We showed him our QR codes that we had on our phones and he said, "Yeah, it doesn't make sense, I'm sorry." So we had to wait for the next hayride because their website gave more false information. And these lines were not short. It was a VERY crowded fall Sunday. Finally we got on the hayride and my son enjoyed the cute characters that had been created from hay bales. When you're dropped off, it's a little field covered in precut pumpkins. (Did they grow them or did they buy them from somewhere else and just mark them up?) Next to the field is an entrance to a small corn maize. I say maize instead of maze because it's just a path you walk through that's inside corn. No tricks or side paths to throw you off, which is pretty boring. If this is the closest "farm" for fall activities that you have access to, then maybe try going on a Friday or a less crowded day. The apple cider donuts were decent. And they had a ton of cut outs for photo ops. But know what to expect so you're not disappointed.

Great little farm to spend a stress free day with the Kids tons of pumpkins and a very nice closed off area where the kids can run around and play with the pumpkins. Petting zoo is great and easily accessible. A farm stand with some cute home gifts as well and amazing Hot cider (so gooood)

Pretty much great trip overall!! We went late and couldn't do activities we wanted in that area so we ended up here where they have pretty cute photo ops and a mini farm and stuff for sale. Also, bathroom was very clean. Most staff was nice.

Nice farm and environment. Friendly employees. Lots of pumpkins, flowers, decorations and all kinds of delicious foods. We bought apple pie, apple cider and apple cider donuts. Haven't tried them yet, but the donuts smell absolutely delicious.

I think this was a do it all farm. Petting zoo with alpacas and mountain goats, hot pumpkin spice coffee, cider donuts, fresh apple cider, maze and pumpkin patch. Also candied apples inside the store and some Halloween decor. What more could you ask for?

    Interesting gourd!

Pros: good variety of pumpkins and gourds, has a store with fresh veggies, hot spiced cider, and some other specialty products like horseradish cheese dip or champagne dip. Thoroughly enjoyed sipping my hot cider on the hayride to the upper pumpkin patch. Apple cider doughnuts tasted fresh and not too sweet. Also does not have an admission fee like some other NJ farms I considered, but keep in mind that the hay ride ($5) is mandatory if you plan to go to the upper pumpkin patch where the two corn mazes are. We only did one corn maze, and we saw where the exit sign was before entering so it wasn't that interesting because we just followed the path to the exit. Didn't try the second corn maze though, which seemed to be bigger and more confusing! Love that the farm store has clearance veggies and products! Cons: not much food available for purchase (chicken noodle soup, tomato basil soup, and pretzels that were too doughy and not fresh) and the pies look great but are a tad expensive (~$20). Candy apples were also pricey IMO.

What a great food store. A ton of fruits and vegetables, meats, fish and dry goods and condiments…read more Definitely a great ethnic food store. Prices are reasonable and I love that you can get a lot of things in bulk. When going for your first time be prepared to spend a while as this place is huge. Also, a little sidenote, it's located in a strip mall which has a lot of traffic. Once you enter into where the sign is, you have to walk to the back of the building and you'll find the store on the left.

This is a supermarket that carries a good variety international grocery products. Great selection…read moreof spices of all sorts, and many ethnic foods and ingredients that you wouldn't be able to find in regular markets. In addition to fresh produce and shelf goods, there are also seafood, meat, and deli departments, as well as baked goods. The Latin American section is the most extensive (catering to the local clientele), followed by Caribbean - I'd come here for specialty items for those cuisines. There is also a small Polish section (but no other Eastern European stuff). Some Indian. However the Asian section is dismally sad, and has only tepid mainstream brands like Roland, Geisha, and Kikkoman (OK Kikkoman soy sauce is the best tho!). Not even good sesame oil or noodles. But for authentic Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or SE Asian products, I would just go to one of several excellent dedicated Asian food markets in NJ. There are also few gourmet/epicurean global culinary products, but then again this isn't that kind of store, and is much more down home. The store feels a bit dingy and the aisles can be cramped, but I do like browsing and coming across interesting or less familiar items I can incorporate into my cooking, try new delicacies, or finding specific ingredients or spices called for in certain dishes I'm making. Prices are reasonable and not subject to the typical "imported/special ethnic foods" upcharge at a Wegmans or whatever for certain products that are very basic and cheap in its country of origin.
