But for authentic Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or SE Asian products, I would just go to one of several excellent dedicated Asian food markets in NJ. Classes are typically 2-3 hours long and including cooking a handful of recipes and eating them. In each class I received a packet with all the recipes we made that day and continue to use most of them. Classes are also BYOB which always makes a night out better. This is a great place to learn how to cook healthy foods. All the food I've seen so far is natural / organic. Diane is the operator and main instructor and cares very much about the quality of the food we eat. Classes are posted on the company's website and include the menu so you can see in advance what recipes are included in the class. I love Indian food but have never made it before so this past class was extremely helpful. I also took a knife skills class where I learned techniques I continue to use and another class where I learned how to make chickpea burgers, home made ketchup and other foods.
