We went to Farms View Roadstand for strawberry picking on the recommendation of my mom's friend. Between my mom and I, we were able to pick about 7lbs of fresh strawberries. I have to say that their strawberries are deliciously fresh and juicy!While picking strawberries, I unfortunately lost my bunny keychain. Later, I was happy to find that the kind lady on the counter kept it for me when somebody surrendered it to the lost and found. Overall, the staff are all kind, friendly and helpful (especially when a staff member helped us pick up some strawberries my mom accidentally dropped). The market also has a delicious selection of fresh pies, pastries, and other bakery stuff. The vegetables we bought are farm fresh. Definitely would be coming here again! 10/10 read more

One of my favorite local farms. The key lime pie is made fresh with key limes and it is really good! Great produce from here. Made some of the best pickles ever using their cucumbers and garlic. Garlic was phenomenal and fresh and full of flavor. Have been for strawberry picking too, they are such good strawberries. The heirloom tomatoes from here are so delicious and huge! I posted one on Instagram and it got nearly 2 million views for its beauty with so many people praising how delicious it looked. Staff was so friendly considering it was 95 degrees. I visit this farm on the fall season. We enjoy our visit with family specially pick up pumpkins. It was fun but quick. We took some fruit and vegetables as we were here, and honey. You need to try a pack of six or just one of those apple cider donuts, this was my first time trying them, and I loved it something different from the traditional ones, I do recommend grabbing one. The staff was friendly, they have donkeys some chickens, some coats and a horse that we enjoy very much watching them. It's a great experience and if you want to outdoor decor this fall I believe you could find everything here for some good holiday decoration. read more

We went strawberry picking on the Sunday of MDW at around 10:30. There was a small crowd but it definitely started getting more busy when we left at around noon. There were some strawberries just starting to get ripe but I think going the first week of June would have been much better - but also probably more crowded, so you can't have it all. Entrance is $5 per person and you pay per pound. I believe the strawberries were $8.99/lb so it will add up quick. We probably spent $20 on strawberries but of course, you're paying for the experience. They also have a farmer's market/bakery and prices aren't too bad for farm goods ($10 for fresh pickles, $20+ for pies). It's nice not to have to drive too far to get to a pick your own farm, so it'll be nice to see what they have available during the rest of the summer season and the fall. read more

Every strawberry season my family and I stop by Farms View Roadstand. We really like this spot because it's not that far from us and it's really easy to access. We recently stopped by on Memorial Day Weekend to pick some strawberries. There is a $5.00 entrance fee and then you pay by the pound for what you pick. We arrived later in the afternoon on a Saturday. The section of the strawberry fields they directed us to was pretty picked through. There were not many ripe strawberries and my kids were getting bummed that we couldn't find anything. Also, I was getting bummed because we paid the entrance fee to pick strawberries and there wasn't much out in the field they had sectioned off. Thankfully, they opened another strawberry picking section where there were plenty of ripe strawberries to choose from. My kids perked up immediately and were able to find a good haul. After picking, we stopped in the store. They have beautiful flowers to pick from and will certainly brighten up anyone's outdoor space. We picked up a cinnamon crumb cake, some peanut butter chip cookies, and vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce. Everything was delicious! I am sure Farms View Roadstand can get pretty busy, but we always seem to get there at off times, and it makes the picking experience so much better. read more

This is a terrific farm for strawberry picking. For a $5 entry fee you are free to roam around their beautiful strawberry fields and pick strawberries straight off the vine. Strawberries you pick are $5.50/lb which is a great deal. This is a terrible place for pumpkin picking. For $14pp you get a tractor ride to a pumpkin patch where everyone can get a pumpkin. You ride the tractor and they take you to a field where you literally have about ten minutes to pick from a selection of ITTY BITTY pumpkins. They have a nice farmer's market, but there aren't any other fall activities on the farm to do, no mazes, no haystacks to climb, nothing. Maybe two cutouts where you can snap a quick picture. The whole visit took us about 30 minutes and was a rip off for $14. And did I mention, the pumpkins you get from this whole experience are ITTY BITTY. They have bigger carvable ones in their farmer's market at $0.79/lb. We'll be back here for more strawberries in June. We'll definitely be going to a different farm for pumpkin picking. read more

I love this farm! Another local gem in Wayne. Super cute family friendly farm. They have a garden nursery area. Beautiful mums for sale. A ton a variety of gourds and pumpkins- big and small. The market is pretty big- a ton of variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Baked good vary from large cakes to small packaged cookies and brownies. We opted for some brownies and apple cider donuts. Both were delicious. I went on a Saturday and it was so much fun. Very busy filled with many families. They have hayrides available along with a petting zoo. Def recommend going there- it was so much fun. read more

We come here every year to gather about 10 lbs of strawberries, that way we have enough jam to last us all year. It's best to come early, parking fills up quick and then you can pick the best of the best. $5 a person to enter and they give you as many boxes as you want (pay by weight at the end). Load your berries in your car and run into the store for fresh produce, pies, cookies, honey, salsa, nut breads, pickled veggies, etc. The workers at the weight stand and in the store are also knowledgeable and always smiling. I've been going here for years. Some wonderful plants, vegetables, etc. can be purchased for your home and garden during the spring. Plants are always healthy and reasonably priced. I typically leave with a flat of tomato plants, herbs, and other vegetables. However, fall is when this place truly shines and we love coming here for a fall outing. We pick up some very unique pumpkins here, decor for the house, and lots of fall treats. Pumpkin pound cake, apple cider donuts, pies, etc. are all wonderful! We recommend their baked goods for sure! Home-made preserves, sauces, etc. are also excellent. Store has an awesome farm vibe to it. It can get crowded, so plan some time. They do move the lines quickly. read more

The u-pick strawberries are simply the best. The family who owns and operates the farm are fantastically knowledgeable. We have been pick strawberries for several years and the berries from Farms View never disappoint. Excellent corn!! Terrific variety of fresh produce. Was thrilled that they had watermelon with seeds!! Cute inside and out. Very well kept. Everyone was helpful. They also have a variety of breads and jams etc. Great selection of flowers as well. This place was awesome early on during the pandemic when you wanted to avoid supermarkets. A good road stand with freshly baked pies, donuts,and produce. Such a wonderful place to purchase pumpkins while in season and decor for your home for the holidays.I can imagine they do something festive and different for every different holiday/season. We went for some donuts, cookies, hot apple cider and we were in heaven. When we arrived at 3:30pm on a Saturday the donuts were pre-bagged and not hot. I am not sure if they make the donuts on site fresh and served hot on some days. The hot apple cider was great because it was not too sweet in comparison to other ciders I've had. The pumpkin patch area here is so cute for families for their children to go out to take some photos and pick out a pumpkin to bring home. I had never been strawberry picking but I thought it might be a nice family activity so we headed to the Farms View Roadstand on a Sunday afternoon. We paid for all of us to enter, including our not yet two year old, and someone went over the picking rules with us before handing us a card box to put our pickings in. It was a fun experience but there were not even enough ripe strawberries to bring us to a pound so we left strawberry-less. The farm stand itself is adorable though and we had to buy cookies and ice cream to make up for the fruit we couldn't get. read more

This is a great local small farm in the town of Wayne. There is a large, gravel parking lot on the property that does fill up pretty quickly on the weekends. On the side of the parking lot there are a few small fenced in areas with some smaller farm animals such as chickens, goats, and peacocks. This farm does not have as many attractions as many of the other farms but the prices can't be best. For $9 you can take a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch, pick a pumpkin, and get apple cider. They also have a shop where you can buy other fruits and vegetables. They also have plenty of home made baked goods at reasonable prices. Most of the fruits and vegetables are grown ok property but whatever isn't, is locally grown. read more

A nice quaint place to go strawberry picking and shopping for your farmers market groceries. We came the third week of June towards the end of the strawberry season. While a lot of the strawberry plants had been picked already by then but there were abundant rows planted and still available to pick. The fields were easily accessible walking from the marketplace. Just follow your nose to the sweetest ripest berries. I also liked their marketplace. The prices were reasonable and there were plenty to choose from. We picked up some homemade ice cream and salsa to try. There was a huge selection of flowers in the marketplace and in the greenhouse. How many times have we driven by and not stopped?! This is a real farmstand in the midst of a dense suburban area; they had a great pumpkin selection just before Halloween & was also found wonderful produce and baked goods inside. (They had a patch for the kiddies) The spinach I bought stayed fresh wrapped in a towel in the fridge for over a week later. And we also went for and indeed found the apple cider donuts! They open back up just before Thanksgiving so if you haven't gotten there yet this year go for it. I also noticed their website tells you what produce they have fresh that day very nice feature. I went with 5 year old for strawberry picking. Not many berries and they /43 tasteless. My kid picked up an onion on edge of onion field, not allowed. Manager forced me to pay for it. She went to look at cameras and claimed the kid picked the onion. never mind, it was rotten. Everyone with kids, stay a mile AWAY from this farm like plague. Much nicer farms around. read more

covid review: grab the kids and come pumpkin picking. or if youre an overgrown child like me, invite your mom friend and tell her to come on down. during covid it cost us $10 pp which gave us 1 pumpkin, a hayride to the pumpkin patch, and 1 apple cider donut. This is such a good package! you walk up to the tent, make the purchase for the package. they hand you the donut, which was the best apple cider donut ive had. why? well it was moist, had flavor, and the perfect size. then you wait in line and get on the hay ride to be taken to one of 3 pumpkin patches. the line moves quick, dont worry. the patch we went to during the 2nd week of october was still full of pumpkins. you can easily pick them off of the vine yourself. i advise going into the market and grab some housemade essentials or other local goods. Prices are decent, but honestly everything is grown fresh. I had my basil plant priced at 6.99 for 2 weeks, its huge and well worth the price. there is parking, but beware, the lot gets full. you might have to park on a side street on the weekend and walk on down. read more

Now that we are in autumn, I was in the mood for some fresh apple cider and apple cider donuts from a local farm and ended up here in Passaic county, NJ. Dating back to 1894, the Kuehm Farm originated as a roadside stand with produce displayed on a picnic table on the side lawn. Today the Farms View offers something for every season: fresh produce, a wide range of plants, gardening supplies, specialty food items, gifts, and more! There were plenty of parking by the time my partner and I arrived but was starting to fill up. They have a small petting zoo with chicken, donkey, goats, ducks, a horse and peacock which is great for kids. Just opposite of the zoo, several picnic tables were set up for a small gathering. As we got closer to the farm market place, several rows of various size pumpkins and mums were arranged like soldiers for sales. However if one wanted to pick their own pumpkin, tickets for their hayride were offered to go out to the pumpkin patch field. We went into their sizable market place where we picked up their apple cider, delicious apple cider donuts sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and some other produce including their homegrown cantaloupe. This would be a nice outing off the beaten path which we recommend. read more

A nice farm that offers a lot of what you want in pumpkin picking. The hayride ticket, which is $9 offers a tractor ride in a hay wagon, to a small patch with small pumpkins. Everyone had a chance to pick a perfect little pumpkin. At the end of the ride, you get a donut and small apple cider, also included as part of the ticket. Outside of the store, they offer more choices of donuts and different sizes of apple cider. Inside, the farm has your pies and more. In a small area outside they have the pumpkins spread out to pick out. They charge by the pound. Almost every single pumpkin in that small patch was able to be carved. Some of the best pumpkins I have seen in a while. The donuts were ok, I've had better, but perhaps it could be that they were sitting out for a while as they were provided as part of the ride. We purchased two pies at the farm, a caramel apple pie and a pecan pie. The Apple pie was outstanding. The caramel came on the side, so you can drizzle, which made it a plus! The apples in the pie were full of flavor and the crust was nice and crispy. The pecan pie was okay, the jelly texture threw me off a bit. Just not the texture I expect when I think of pecan pie. It was of good flavor, but I've had better. I wish they had more activities for the kids, perhaps a maze or some rides. For us it's a quick ride and you get enough to make it an enjoyable place. Doesn't seem to get crowded like other popular places and the pumpkins won't disappoint. read more

I had a pleasant time picking strawberries with my small group of friends and I couldn't ask for a better place; got me singing, and naturally it was "strawberry fields forever..." Pickin' and hummin', pickin' and sweatin', I enjoyed my afternoon thoroughly. $4.99/lb and we wound up boxing up 4 lbs of sweet, juicy strawberries. If this place was any closer to where I live I would visit every weekend. Produce and other items inside the shop are worth a gander. I ended our trip with purchasing 3 jars of spreads. Orange marmalade is my favorite. The apple butter and the whole blueberries are equally tasty but I have a soft spot for marmalade. Young staff here are helpful and charming.
