A nice farm that offers a lot of what you want in pumpkin picking. The hayride ticket, which is $9 offers a tractor ride in a hay wagon, to a small patch with small pumpkins. Everyone had a chance to pick a perfect little pumpkin. At the end of the ride, you get a donut and small apple cider, also included as part of the ticket. Outside of the store, they offer more choices of donuts and different sizes of apple cider. Inside, the farm has your pies and more. In a small area outside they have the pumpkins spread out to pick out. They charge by the pound. Almost every single pumpkin in that small patch was able to be carved. Some of the best pumpkins I have seen in a while. The donuts were ok, I've had better, but perhaps it could be that they were sitting out for a while as they were provided as part of the ride. We purchased two pies at the farm, a caramel apple pie and a pecan pie. The Apple pie was outstanding. The caramel came on the side, so you can drizzle, which made it a plus! The apples in the pie were full of flavor and the crust was nice and crispy. The pecan pie was okay, the jelly texture threw me off a bit. Just not the texture I expect when I think of pecan pie. It was of good flavor, but I've had better. I wish they had more activities for the kids, perhaps a maze or some rides. For us it's a quick ride and you get enough to make it an enjoyable place. Doesn't seem to get crowded like other popular places and the pumpkins won't disappoint. read more

Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Not much to do tbh. The place was packed. Animal farm is really little and you cannot even buy food to feed animals. Peacock looked more like a fat chicken and had no tail:( However, donuts was our worst disappointment. My jaw dropped after I saw the list of ingredients (pls. See attached). Such a cute, homey place where you can buy fresh produce, baked goods, dairy and a nice large selection of garden plants and flowers. A lot of the produce is home grown onsite, and they also bake their pies, breads, pound cakes and cookies onsite every morning. They also have pick-your-own. Right now it's strawberry season. I didn't pick my own but I did buy them in the farm market and they were so much juicier, redder and tasted much better than the ones you find at a supermarket. They also have homemade jams, local honey, salad dressings, pasta sauces, and Amish butter. Sip and Swirl Ice Cream is also sold here - I got the Very Cherry Vanilla and it was really good and creamy. This is a nice place to stop in on a crisp morning and get some fresh goods. read more

I grew up right down the street from this roadstand which has grown into a much bigger place over the years. They have a variety of fruits and vegetables some grown on the property and some I assume from other farms. All very fresh but higher prices than what you would pay in the grocery store but that's excepted since you are getting better quality. They have a some animals outside for the kids to see but I have noticed they don't have as many as they used to. Come here in the fall to pumpkin pick or go through the corn maze or at xmas time to get your wreaths or trees. read more

Decided to visit here for strawberry picking this weekend (early june) because it was one of the closest to the city about an hr drive. Place was smaller than I was anticipating. Good thing we grab some lunch on the way cuz there's no food here. They did have some picnic tables in the back and it was shaded which was nice. They had same chickens, horse and sheeps I think so the kids liked that. They had some porta-potties which was fine to use. It serve the purpose. Place was not crowded and we got to pick easily 10 pounds of strawberries. My boys enjoyed running up and down the strawberry field and got to eat a few too. There's a nice 'farm stand' they sell lots of plants and flowers, had cider donuts, pies, yams, cookies, some vegetables and lots of other stuff. Over all not much to do if you have kids but nice short drive from city if you want to pick strawberries, buy some plants and bake goods. Parking was easy and they charge by the pound for the strawberries. They have other veggies you can pick too. read more

I thought this place was pretty great. The staff are so warm and friendly. They have a bunch of different animals you can look at, a cute little pumpkin patch right in front and a nice market filled with beautiful fresh produce, jarred items, and goodies fresh from the bakery. I even spotted ice cream (but did not buy). For $10, you get a hayride, 1 pumpkin, and an apple cider donut. I believe we were supposed to get some apple cider as well but they must've stopped because of COVID. Masks are required and most people obeyed. If they didn't, i would hear staff give reminders that masks must be worn.. I did not see anyone obeying the 1 person per family rule for the market. I also did not see any staff actively enforcing it (as far as I know) while I was there. It doesn't seem realistic in most cases but I understand why it is important. Also, the checkout line is not socially distanced (which is probably because there is not enough space to) but moves pretty quickly. Everyone inside of the market was wearing masks. There were also hand sanitizer pumps at the checkout stands. The donuts were pretty damn good if I do say so myself! So was their sparkling apple cider, despite not being from their orchard. I was very happy with this place and the goodies i bought from their market and would definitely come back again! read more

Beautiful farm and nice experience. My friend and I went for strewburry picking. my friend told me the months of April and May are when most strawberries are available to pick in NJ. (We went in May) When we got there first we took trays from a staff and walked to strewburry garden. There are so much of strewburries , some of them already ripe. After we filled up the tray we walked back to the store, paid by weight ( I don't remember how much) they also have a vegetable selling too. read more

This is one of my favorite places to go and shop. It's a good 20 minutes away but it's worth the trip. I love driving past the farm to get to the store. Their produce is always fresh you can see the workers out in the field gathering the veggies when you drive past. Sometimes when your in the store you see the workers putting the veggies on the table.NOW THATS FRESH!!! The staff is always pleasant and helpful. I try to go there once a week in the summer to get my green beans , corn and tomatoes . YUMMY! read more

It's a small farm that has a lot of cute stuff during the fall. They have animals, a small pumpkin patch in the front or another pumpkin patch in the fields tay you have to take a hayride to get to. Our group bought tickets for the hayride which allows for either free apple cider or donut with a small pumpkin (that you pick) for $9. It was a fun activity that's probably geared more towards young children. There's also a farmer market that I got to do some food shopping at! I went for pumpkin picking and I didn't like the fact that you are not allowed to move around or stay more than 5 minutes. It was very disappointing because I've been to different farms where they let you do your thing. If you want to take pictures while pumpkin picking go somewhere else. read more

If you're a farm stand/road stand kinda person and you're in the area, Farm's View is well worth a trip off the beaten path for a visit! I've been coming here since I moved to New Jersey, and I wait with anticipation for their openings. If you want something special they'll accommodate and even call you when ready. Got some of their local-grown hand-picked strawberries and imported cherries today and oh my oh my! They also have the usual butters and cheese and spreads and good breads and honeys and even some slightly healthier (but still sugary) snack items. And before you ask: nope, no connection just a VERY satisfied customer. Today I'm snacking down on their hand-picked English peas, a childhood favorite that's become hard to find, but are a PERFECT healthy snack particularly in the pod to slow down greedy hands. I went here this past weekend for strawberry picking with my husband. You can pick your own berries in their fields, which are very close to the Road Stand Market. You pick up a cardboard cartoon at the market and then go to the fields, which are less than 100 meters away. The rows are open for you, and no one assigns you rows (which is common at other farms) or makes you pick all the red berries in one area before moving you. You are free to roam as you like (within reason, of course). The berries are huge and very sweet. We ended up picking almost 7lbs of berries. The price is $4.99/lb, which is a little expensive, but I thought it was worth it considering the experience and the quality of the berries. You can pay with Visa or Mastercard, no Amex. Everyone we interacted with was very nice. We even got directions from one of the girls at the cash register to a park / picnic area nearby. *Note: When we called, we were warned that they occasionally close / stop berry picking after 1pm if it gets too hot outside. This was not the case for us the day that we went, but that is their standard policy. read more

They told us that the hayride was included in the charge for pumpkin picking. And that's all fine and dandy until they refused to let us get to the patch by other means (our own vehicle). A cute humbling farm for spending some time with the family. It's not a place that you would spend a lot of time in as the experience is not all day like some pumpkin patch farms. They do have a small little area to see the farm animals such as pigs, sheep, ducks,and cows. Staff is very polite and welcoming. For those that are planning to visit I would put on some jeans and an older pair of sneakers or shoes. I would put the children in comfortable clothing as well nothing to fancy. I went today with my mom and kids. I only bought tickets for my kids and my mom since I've done it plenty of times. The cranky old lady that was there giving the directions of the strawberry field, was super sneaky she came out all the way in the field to give someone "directions" but it was really to let me know that I can stand on the side in the "shade". She really came to make sure I wasn't going in there without a ticket however I was just standing there watching my mom and kid. She gave my mom the directions in a really rude manner and explicitly told her not to eat the strawberries before buying it which I understand but the people in the field already were eating the strawberries as they were picking so I really didn't feel accepted there and her attitude was truly bad. I really felt singled out and sad that she didn't trust someone for five dollars. She honestly looked like she was having a really bad day. I visited here on Independence Day and I understand that it's covid season and social distance. There was a sign saying only one people from one family is allowed to get into the market. I totally respect that. I am asian so are my friends. We got stopped at the entrance cuz only one of us can enter the market. But there are lots of white couples shopping in one shopping cart in the market together so I reported this to the lady staff at the entrance and I said that hey there are lots of couples are in the market. If they can get in why my friends can't? She said that "oh they probably just met in the market, that's why they are shopping together." I literally heard those calling each other husband and wife. I felt so upset and how could this be such a double standard? Maybe cuz we are Asians, so she can assume that we must from one family? TBH, this ruined my holiday little bit. I really wanted to like this garden center since several of them had closed in our area over the years. I always went to Goffle Brook Farms in Wyckoff after the closure of those centers, but, since I was back in Wayne, I decided to try, this garden center. I needed help identifying where the shade plants were and the young man watering the plants did not know, so, one of his colleagues walked by and he asked her. I have been gardening for 31 years, I know what plants do well in shade, I only wanted to know where the shade plants were. Well, what a response she gave. I don't do shade, she barked. What shade are you talking about, she asks. I say shade shade. She says, that doesn't mean anything, you need to know how much shade per day. I say all day shade, then she proceeds to tell me the 1 type that will do well in mostly shade. She was rude, arrogant and condescending. I knew I needed a one plant for shade so I purchased what I needed. I, happily went back to Gofflebrook Farms in Wyckoff, to purchase the other 21 plants I needed. Spent over $460. Their prices are better too! I wish I had her name, but, she was tall and slender and may manage the place. Good luck to them!! read more

We have been using the curb side pick up since COVID-19 began and the family who runs the farm has been wonderful to work with. Yes, sometimes you can't get through on the first call, but who cares? It is clear that they have been working around the clock to ensure the community has what they need! Great selection of items that has made life a little more normal during a crazy time. This place is great! A diversity of top notch produce and baked goods in addition to the seasonal things we were in search of. We encountered friendly staff who are VERY HELPFUL!!! We ended up with a bale of hay, corn stalks, and a jumbo pumpkin in addition to veggies, bread, apple cider, cider donuts and a candy apple, all reasonably priced. - this put us in contact with over a half dozen staff who could not have been nicer, more patient or more helpful. - not one bad apple in the bunch. Staffing levels were decidedly favorable, despite it being a crowded fall Sunday. If only the customer base were equally well mannered...a clearly marked sign requesting that you do not stand on, sit on, or run through the pumpkins was ignored by a majority of the undisciplined children and their enabling parents who also don't have the common sense not to try and pick up pumpkins by the stem. We witness an amateur photog who felt that she HAD TO SIT on one of their jumbo pumpkins in order to snap a pic of her child STANDING on another one...no doubt the "perfect pic for fall".
