Samsung support specifically directed me to this location in Natick, MA, which is why this…read moreexperience was so disappointing. I understand service centers have policies, and I wasn't trying to argue or ask for special treatment. When I walked in the store tonight it was empty and I hear a "I'll be right with you" yelled from behind a wall. When the technician walked out and asked what they could do for me I replied with a sad smile and a "I hope you can help" and went on with my story. As I was trying to explain, they interrupted and asked me to remove my phone from its case, and took it without explanation. As soon as they noticed a very small cosmetic scratch on the frame -- unrelated to the software boot issue -- they cut me off mid-sentence and stopped listening. The phone (which is 2 months old) was handed back to me with "it's out of warranty," with no other explanation. I tried to continue the description of the issue, as it was a known software issue with the phone. They insisted that a minor cosmetic scratch voided the warranty. I questioned it and they said they would check with the manager. Went behind a wall for less than 2 minutes and returned and said they wouldn't help, I could try mailing it to Samsung. The manager did not come out to address me personally. This was especially frustrating because Samsung later confirmed the device was still eligible for warranty service for this issue. I can accept a "no," but the lack of basic communication and empathy made an already stressful situation worse.

Very frustrating experience here. Brought an ipad that wasn't charging. They convinced me to…read morepurchase a monthly plan with Asurion, as it would be the best deal for fixing it. Picked up the ipad and they assured me it was fixed and would charge. Got it home and it did not charge at all. Brought it back and they said it was actually a different problem (without really acknowledging they'd previously told me - falsely - that they'd fixed it). Went to pick it up for the second time and they said it would be too expensive to fix and I should call Asurion, file a claim and most likely they'd replace the device for me. Called Asurion who of course had no interest in helping me. So I spent 2 round trips to the store, lots of time on the phone and money on a monthly plan, without actually getting anything fixed.

The Target in Framingham off Route 30 behind Shopper's World is a large format store with a…read moreconvenient location that makes it an easy stop whether we are coming from the highway or already in the area for other errands. We walked into a store that covers the full Target range including clothing, groceries, electronics, household goods, school supplies, and pharmacy, and the breadth of what is available under one roof is the primary reason we make it a regular stop. The store is generally well stocked and the online order pickup and return process works smoothly, which is one of the more reliable features of this location for anyone who shops Target both in person and through the app. The grocery and food section covers enough ground for supplemental shopping even if it is not a full supermarket replacement. Self-checkout availability fluctuates and on busier evenings the only open lanes have sometimes been limited to ten items or fewer with no full service registers staffed, which creates real friction for anyone doing a substantial shop. For a quick trip or an online pickup, it works well. For a full cart of groceries or household restocking, we plan around the checkout limitations or come during off peak hours.

Target in general a classic place to just walk around and browse. It basically has it all - home finds, clothing, toys, groceries, makeup, everyday essentials, the list goes on. I usually go to the Target in Watertown but whenever I'm in the area I'll come here. The two locations are similar: huge, has tons of parking, and items are generally pretty well-stocked.

Or so I thought. I found the same TV for $100 less at star-visions.com and they offer the same royal treatment option. The Price Protection says (directly copied from their form) - Price Protection - Paul's TV will match any verifiable price up to 30 days of receipt. Items must be the exact model number, factory sealed, from an authorized retailer offering the same Royal Treatment (Free Delivery, Set Up and removal of old TV) and similar payment/financing terms. Check and check. Star Visions matches all that. I called to see how it works and they told me no, they don't honor online prices, only local store prices. The store has to be within 50 miles of a Paul's TV, and has to be a physical store. Should I find that, I'm sure they'd then add their "Royal Treatment is Different" or "their payment/financing terms are different." While overall I do believe Paul's TV is good overall and their sales staff are knowledgeable, Buyer Beware, their price protection guarantee is a sham. Next time, I'd buy my TV from Star Visions...
