I noticed a sign that said they also replaced cracked screens so I asked about the service. The technician explained that if he replaced the screen Apple would not look at the phone. I indicated that was fine since they refused to replace the screen anyways. He said it would take about 20 minutes. As I was trying to explain, they interrupted and asked me to remove my phone from its case, and took it without explanation. As soon as they noticed a very small cosmetic scratch on the frame -- unrelated to the software boot issue -- they cut me off mid-sentence and stopped listening. The phone (which is 2 months old) was handed back to me with "it's out of warranty," with no other explanation. I tried to continue the description of the issue, as it was a known software issue with the phone. They insisted that a minor cosmetic scratch voided the warranty. I questioned it and they said they would check with the manager. Went behind a wall for less than 2 minutes and returned and said they wouldn't help, I could try mailing it to Samsung. The manager did not come out to address me personally. This was especially frustrating because Samsung later confirmed the device was still eligible for warranty service for this issue. I can accept a "no," but the lack of basic communication and empathy made an already stressful situation worse.

Items must be the exact model number, factory sealed, from an authorized retailer offering the same Royal Treatment (Free Delivery, Set Up and removal of old TV) and similar payment/financing terms. Check and check. Star Visions matches all that. I called to see how it works and they told me no, they don't honor online prices, only local store prices. The store has to be within 50 miles of a Paul's TV, and has to be a physical store. Should I find that, I'm sure they'd then add their "Royal Treatment is Different" or "their payment/financing terms are different." While overall I do believe Paul's TV is good overall and their sales staff are knowledgeable, Buyer Beware, their price protection guarantee is a sham. Next time, I'd buy my TV from Star Visions...
