This is another business that was introduced to me by my Hoover Leadership class. I have passed this business on many occasions and honestly, it never crossed my mind to stop in. I'm glad I was able to see what they sell because they do have a lot of items and trinkets and just different things that I can see myself buying for others or even enjoying myself. They were nice enough to offer us a discount when we were in their store learning about their business so I definitely think you should stop. What a unique store. They have items from home decorations to jewelry. The staff were really friendly and very welcoming. We stopped in here for a Renaldo bracelet the wife wanted for Christmas. Although they did not have one in for her wrist size they did try to find it in theTuscaloosa store. Got a call the next day as promised and notes to call them. When I finally did they said that they could not find one but would be happy to order one for me and it would be in with in a week. The new and improved Hoover Wrapsody location is beautiful and now has two fitting rooms! I've always been a shopper at Wrapsody for cute gifts, clothes, candles, Christmas decor, etc. and now they are located even closer to me. Service is always friendly. When they have specials, you can expect the checkout line to wrap around many times but that's a good thing, because I like to support local business and it means that their specials are that good! For example, I went to their Sip and Shop event, where I was 2nd in line for their first 25 in line receive a $25 gift card special, 20% off purchases, and free champagne and Big Spoon ice cream. Wow....that's how you sum up this store in one word. This store has everything you need and everything you just want. I have never been to a store like this, but I literally wanted EVERYTHING they sold. They have cute boutique clothing, jewelry, accessories, and a large selection of home decor items. Imagine taking the best and most sought after items out of every boutique store and putting them all together into one store, and there you have it. Wrapsody. The items I fell in love with most were their key ring bangles, but I was definitely in like with everything else they had too. I would say price wise they are worth it for their products. This would be a great place to buy gifts and a great place to receive gift cards from for sure! I could have spent hours here! Wrapsody is one of those stores you just have to go in and walk around. I don't know if anyone comes here for something specific. It's more the kind of store you go into and see what they have. It's a great store if you are looking for a gift. I've been here a few times now and it has always been just to browse and see what they have. I always find some interesting things here. They have stuff for the home, things to eat, clothes, shoes, Vera Bradley, and jewelry. They sell Reynauldo bracelets here which I really love and they feature a special one every month that is a special price. I heard they are moving and it's my hope that they are moving to a bigger store! My only issue with this store is that it's pretty pricey. I certainly wouldn't come here looking for a deal but overall it's a great store! read more

If you're looking for a great, local shop in Birmingham with unique gift finds, Wrapsody is where you want to come. Beautiful items for sale here- whether you're looking something large or small, you'll find some great brands (think: Alex & Ani and Vera Bradley) and Birmingham-specific gifts! I really like this store, and love perusing the huge variety of items they offer. However, after my visit today I will no longer shop here. I entered to no greeting; was offered no help; and after finding what I needed on my own, I was not acknowledged at the register once ready to make my purchase. I was unable to determine who were employees versus customers as the ladies in the store were deep in conversation. I've worked retail in a couple of different environments and learned to appreciate a friendly "I'll be with you in a moment" to enhance a customer's experience. This is really unfortunate as I prefer brick and mortar shopping to online, especially when the location is so convenient. I will have to find my beloved glamorous wash online going forward. read more

Wrapsody has been my go-to for two years now for all gifts and special presents. Unfortunately, I won't be buying clothes there any longer. Thanks to an incredibly limiting seven day return policy, I literally just put back $100 worth of clothes. Super sad. I was willing to pay the higher prices for the sake of convenience and ease. I am happy to update that I received a call from one of the owners of Wrapsody in which she asked for my side of the story. Although she still seemed to believe that I did indeed put the wrong delivery address and shared she still felt that it was not an error on their part, she did, in all fairness, say that she wanted to make things right and did not want an unhappy customer.
