They greet you and direct you and go on to tending to the lavish supply of many outdoor and indoor plants. My friends helped me pick this out. I forgot the name but she is doing well and requires minimal attention just water once a week and a sunny place in my house. Prices are a bit more here but quality and longevity of plants last. This location, as well as the other one, are a couple of the nicest nurseries I've ever been to. Plant quality is of the highest level and the selection is really good as well. They have an indoor garden center that has all sorts of gardening decor (like pots and things of the sorts) to go along with other garden related nick knacks for the home. Also, they have some great seasonal stuff on display when you first walk into the indoor section - assuming this rotates through different seasons and holidays. I do think prices are slightly higher than some of the other places like this I've been to, but the quality here is off the charts and the employees are all so friendly and helpful. The furniture, art, and other decorative pieces were gorgeous and priced really well. There were some unique finds that you probably wouldn't look for but would be glad you stumbled upon and lots of classic pieces too. I became obsessed with a couple of items but wanted to measure before making a purchase. Steve happily provided his card in case things worked out. Unfortunately, I returned home to find that my hunch was correct and the pieces wouldn't be a good fit. No worries. I'll for sure keep Soho in mind during the rest of my redecorating!

The house was fabulous - something that us "common folk" could never imagine owning. Yes. The owners found me peering through the scrub oak at the fabulous abode that they tried so hard to make their "intimate get away place". And Yes. This homeowner was kind enough to satisfy my curiosity and invited me in (not to mention offering me a mimosa)! That tells you a little about the owner of Richard Tubb Interiors! And that's just the kind of guy he is. Warm, kind, genuine, inviting. And that's just what his showroom down on 2nd South is - warm and inviting. It's not stuffy, it's comfy & cozy. It's not full of crap that some of us would never dream of having in our homes. It's filled with clean, crisp, beautiful furnishings that invite you to just come in and sit a spell. I have been shopping at Richard Tubb for well over 12 years. It's been my go to place for "big girl furniture". There is always something new and exciting in store for me - whether it be the BEST sofa I've ever sunk into or the newest line of candles that I must have. My home is an evolving project - I always have something in the works. Richard's team of designers (they are all great, but I have my favorite - Sam! He just "gets" me) are there to help me make the perfect decision when I am lost on the entire set up or to just nail the decision down when I need a little validation.
