Instead I found it overwhelming, so I just politely walked most of the aisles only looking at the things that really jumped out at me. Actually, there is a little bit of everything that collectors hope to see at the Brass Bear at reasonable prices. In addition, parking is free and convenient at the front of the store. Stop by one day when you have a free hour to treat yourself.

When we came in he told us go ahead and look around he was going to call the power company and harass them then he would harass us. I thought he was joking, but it was unprofessional. My daughter found a pair of nightstands to purchase and since her husband is in the Navy I asked if he could give her a military discount. He immediately started in about being drafted and he didn't get any discounts he just got sent to Vietnam. He carried on about this and seemed somewhat combative about it. As we were leaving he did attempt to apologize, but it was a little late at that point. A simple we don't give discounts would have been a much more professional and courteous response to my inquiry. My husband and I talked with the owner about potentially exchanging the set. The owner asked me, "Now what would you do if you were me and you didn't like the second set." My reply was, "I would probably offer a refund at that time." Apparently this sent the owner over the edge. He walks off throws a few things around and comes back cursing at me. He let me know that he was having back pain but that he didn't have to exchange or refund anything. I proceeded to ask him about his return policy and at that time he told me that I needed to leave. He asked my husband earlier if he could see the table in our home. Of course my husband refused. While escorting us out of the door, he mentioned something along the lines of ...since he could not come to our home we needed to leave his store. I have never experienced anyone as rude and unprofessional as this guy. The story gets worse because I came back to the store to take pictures of his non-existing return policy. At that time he threatened to call the police and have me arrested for being a public nuisance. I don't recommend that anyone purchase anything from this establishment!
