I phoned and spoke with the owner, and was informed she still had it, and - not requiring card payment over the phone, she decided to hold it for a couple of days until I was free and my wife and I could drive 200 miles to her shop on a Saturday. We arrived, paid her, and while there I saw and purchased a beautiful, quality onyx lamp my wife fell in love with. What great finds. The owner is very gracious and just a knowledgeable and lovely person. It has been over a year now and We are still pleased. I will recommend her to anyone. When we did go back recently the store had a bit of a remodel. It was nice, but just did not have the same feel as before. Prices on items tended to be a bit more hefty and the selection seemed more, how can I say,... "tan?" We went on a Saturday, which used to be a very busy time for them. But this time the store only had a couple of shoppers. Just couldn't put my finger on it, but it just didn't seem as interesting or inviting. The staff seemed a bit standoffish as well. I suspect if we are back down that way, we may stop by. Just don't think this will be a planned destination any longer.
