The guy who…read morehelped me seems to be the owner isn't exactly the friendly or chatty type, more on the opposite side. But he came across as no-nonsense which I do respect. Not pushy and doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. However, the pricing is definitely on the higher side. After the service, I called a few other mechanics and realized I had paid about $300 more than their quotes for the same work. Still cheaper than dealerships and chain shops, but not competitive with other independent shops. I also spent there 3 hours waiting for something that should take 45 minutes at max. Overall, experience was okay, but given the price difference, I probably wouldn't go back.

He told me on the phone he would "only" charge me $400, but charged me $550 instead. When I picked up my car and asked if it was safe for me to travel with it (I was supposed to go out of town for the weekend) he felt confident that it would be fine. As I was driving on the expressway it broke down again. He had it for a week and then proceeded to tell me it was going to cost me another $5000 to replace my transmission. Never said anything about the $1550 I had paid for him to not fix anything. I've had other issues that I've overlooked because my father trusted him for so many years. I'm disappointed and frankly disgusted that I was treated this way as a loyal customer. I do not suggest taking your vehicle here. He has no knowledge of the new way that cars are built. He also messed up my brakes last year and I had to have them redone. He can't even do that right anymore. DO NOT TRUST THIS CON MAN!
