They asked what work had been done I showed them the receipt with only a charge for labor. I thought that sounded high (I expected it to be a little more expensive but not ThAT much) so I took the car elsewhere for a second opinion. I just paid $600 for both repairs... a THIRD of what J&S quoted me... and it turns out I didn't even need a new muffler. Only the adjacent part was broken, but J&S tried to claim that you can't just replace that part, you have to replace the whole thing.
