Superb work. I was kept up to date with the status of my vehicle, and walked me through the process of dealing with the insurance company.

Everything you hear and read about these guys is 100% truth. I've had my fair share of encounters with repair shops and TJs is up there if not #1. I was semi discouraged from the initial repair shop I visited that really tried to pull one over on me with the initial estimate process. Defeated but also relentless, I took a deep breath and had faith I'd find a good and reputable shop within the area associated with my insurance. My first encounter with Ian was nothing short of professional and helpful. He got me in within the hour, got the estimate done within a half hour and scheduled repairs a week out. Simple. They didn't keep too much in contact during the repairs process but were helpful whenever I checked in. I also beat them to the punch a lot with follow ups. Expectations were clear and the repairs done were nothing short of phenomenal. I really like their layout inside as well with pamphlets explaining the process and your right to choose your own repair shop. Something I had issues with in the beginning. Can't rave enough about these guys. Honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional 100%! read more

I did some damage to the rocker panel and tires on my car ( my own doing!) . I have State Farm insurance and Tom and Jerry's was one of their preferred shops and it's 2 blocks from where I work and was highly recommended by a few co workers . I brought my car in one morning to get assessed. It was drivable and I picked it up later that day. They ordered all the parts and 3 days later I dropped it off to get repaired. Within 24 hours, everything was repaired perfectly. The whole experience couldn't have gone any smoother. Don and Ian were a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend this place. My car was even washed when I picked it up. read more

A family member recommended this place. Took my car in for a couple of scratches to be taken care of. I brought in touch up paint from dealer. The young man took care of it right away. "No charge" saying it was his "good deed of the day." I still paid him a lil something but so appreciated a kindness when and where I least expected it. The touch up job was great. And I appreciate a positive experience. read more

Needed some work done on our car and decided to give them a try. From the estimate to the completed work Tom & Jerry's delivered outstanding quality service. I would definitely use them again. read more

Highly Recommended!!!!!! Tom and his team did a fantastic job! (Side story) I had extensive undercarriage damage to my vehicle, and when others did not want to provide an estimate or when they did, padded the bill and overinflated estimates , Tom thoroughly inspected my car, provided a fair estimate, fixed the car with quick turnaround time and looking/operating great!!!!! Tom is the man!!!! read more

I had just got a new (to me) car and had it about a month. I saw a girl walking an adorable German Shepard pup, and WHAM, parked car jumped out of nowhere. I was sure, the cops who did the report were sure, and the tow truck driver were all sure, it was going to be totaled. Car went over to Tom and Jerry's after a suggestion from my mechanics at NAS, and they said, no worries, we can fix this right up. They did and the car looks and runs wonderfully. I am beyond impressed with Tom and Jerry's and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The insurance paid for everything, but I checked online and the prices were fair and competitive. read more

Great repairs to my little car after it got a bit too close to a semi on the highway. Work finished faster than expected, and car even cleaned when I picked it up! Shop worked smoothly with my insurance company. read more

AMAZING service and communication. These guys over-deliver. I've had conversations with them where I've mistakenly told them one thing when it was actually another and I'm certain it had some negative impact. They never made anything of it. As far as their workmanship? IMPECCABLE! It's a love hate relationship...I look forward to doing business with them and I don't ever want to HAVE to do business with them. Superb value. read more

The service was AWESOME! They were speedy, and did an amazing job at repair. The team was extremely thoughtful in their care!

I highly recommend Tom & Jerry's Auto Body Shop. They did a beautiful repair job on my bumper! They are professional, efficient, and courteous. Getting work done on your car can be stressful but their care and concern for me and my car put me at ease from the time I called them until the work was finished. Thank you! read more

I just had an excellent experience with Tom & Jerry's Auto Body Shop. They took care of everything in the time quoted. When I picked up my car it was spotless, and you couldn't even tell there was anything wrong! They are very appreciative of the business they receive, and show it in many ways. I highly recommend Tom & Jerry's for any auto body work! read more

This review has been overdue since last July 2020, I was going through some of my receipts recently and totally forgot the bad experience I had here. They have so many good reviews and was the main reason I went to them not sure what happened. But I brought my car in to get my front bumper fixed from a bump at the shopping center. Seemed like a quick fix but upon pick up and driving it home I noticed my air conditioner wasn't running well, blowing hot air. I asked the advisor whom I was working with it if the bumper had come off during the paint job and he said no, thought maybe something was crossed when they put it back. Car was still under warranty so I took it to the dealer and sure enough all the ac lines in the bumper were crossed and shorted out the fuses. I had to pay quite a bit out of pocket for the repairs bc they won't cover damage under warranty and my insurance company added the costs to my final bill to reimburse me. Not to mention all the time wasted leaving the car at the dealership and waiting until they could get me in and having no ac in the middle of summer. Then I asked the insurance company if they can view any videos of the bodyshop work while the car was there and they said they could bc by law every certified body shop has to video their work they said. Sure enough again, the video showed the bumper being pulled off and being worked on - they clearly lied to me. The quality of work was decent thus the 2 stars but don't like being lied to. Also, I noticed the ash tray in the door handle was broken when I got back and some gum wrapper in there...I'm very leary about their procedures and ethics. I will not be going back for future repairs. read more

Could not be happier with the service here. Tom was very helpful in working with my insurance company to get the right quote for the necessary repair, work was done on time, as promised and they even gave the car a wash inside and out! I highly recommend for any body work you might need. read more

True professionals that genuinely seem to care to about their customers. Took my car in after getting a flat tire and they took the time to help me to a nearby tire shop. After which they helped install the tire for me. New cars apparently don't come with spare tires so these guys were a life saver. Going to these guys for any issues going forward. read more

I went into Tom and Jerry's today because I hit a piece of metal and it hit the side of my car causing several small scratches. I spoke to Matthew, who came out and looked at the damage, I had touch up paint and Matthew touched up the scratches while I waited. As my car has a two stage paint so he told me to come back in several hours and he would do second coat. I returned in several hours and Matthew came out immediately and applied second coat of paint again while I waited. He did an excellent job both times. When I asked what I owed him for his work he said there was no charge. I asked several times to pay but he refused. I would highly recommend Tom and Jerry's to anyone who needs repairs. I would not take my car to anyplace else. read more

Took my car here for an insurance repair after a moderate front end collision. Mechanical and body repair was done well, all panels were lined up well. Paint color match was decent but not perfect. Under direct sunlight you can easily tell the difference between old and new. After receiving the car back heard a rattle in the driver's door, saw that the front grill was not attached fully, and heard creaking from the windshield. I took it back and they removed whatever was rattling in the door and fixed the grill, but they told me the windshield was fine and was not creaking. Must be in my head. Also, my headlights were not aligned properly, and one side was much higher than the other. When I pointed it out, they explained to me that one side is supposed to be higher than the other. I looked up the alignment spec and of course, they are supposed to be level. So I leveled them myself in less time than it took me to drive over, complain about it and get lied to. Much later, I lifted my window switch, and the whole panel came up out of the door. I found that a snap/tab was broken off, and replaced with a black tar type substance similar to old chewing gum. I realized the rattle inside my door was the broken tab, and they tried to fix it by using a wad of "chewing gum" rather than replacing the broken part. This is not how repairs should be done or how customers should be treated and I don't recommend anyone go to this shop. read more

Recently, my daughter's insurance forced us to go elsewhere. After postponing our delivery date three times, they finally called and told us to come get it. But it was not ready and an hour later we drove off in a damp, poorly washed car. (Class act that they were, the guy washed the car with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Hey, they're only ashes.) Yet after 20 years and more than a dozen dings, I have never had a bad experience at Tom & Jerry's. They know the difference between a dent repair factory and professional auto body service. read more

I have used Tom & Jerry's a couple of times (wince) after I fender-bendered two cars within six months (no, I was not texting but I WAS distracted). I used them for bodywork to my 2008 BMW 3-series coupe. The owner, Tom, is such a great guy: cool, detailed, careful, and responsible. He took very good care of my car when it was in his shop. You can tell he loves cars. Tom & Jerry's was ultimately recommended by friends so I return the favor by recommending them to fellow Yelp/internet users who are looking for a reputable body shop in the Chicago area (not far off the Kennedy expressway/I-90). read more

I have been using Tom and Jerry's for over 30 years now, back when Jerry was part of the business, from dings to serious stuff this is one of the best if not best body repair shops in the city. I have never been dissapointed, Tom is a great guy and beside being honest he really knows his business. As far as customer service, pretty hard to beat, you will not be dissapointed going there. read more

I stopped in one day to have the lock on my trunk fixed. Owner Tom took a look at my trunk and said let me pull it in. He worked on it personally with one of his guys and 20 min later, I had my trunk lock fixed. very cool and professional and friendly service. best part that i didn't even expect was after i asked him what i owed he waved me off and said don't worry about it! Now hopefully I will never need body work done anytime soon. But if I do I will be back here to get my car worked on. I highly recommend Tom and Jerry's Auto Body to any one. read more

We received the best service and repair for our car here. Tom runs a top notch business and his employees are not only friendly, but also professional. We've had our cars repaired at other places, but have never received this type of service. The car looks brand new, was done quickly and with care. We highly recommend Tom and Jerry's. read more

My car was parked outside of my house and got sideswiped. While the other car got the brunt of the damage, my car had about $3500 worth of damage and was not drivable. Huge bummer and major inconvenience. My boyfriend's family has been using Tom & Jerry's Auto for years, and so I wasn't hesitant at all to use them. What made it even better was that it is a State Farm Approved shop, so my insurance and Tom & Jerry's worked together without needing me as a go-between. Tom was super helpful and nice on the phone when initially giving me the estimate, and told me it the car would be ready by Dec. 19th. It is now December 18th (the car was ready yesterday, but I couldn't get it until today), and I am back in my beloved car with it looking better than before the hit. Tom met me at the door early this morning before I had to go to work, remembered exactly who I was, and I was back in my car within 10 minutes of arriving. Like I said, my car looks amazing and drives wonderfully. I won't be using anyone else for repairs besides Tom & Jerry's from now on. They are fantastic! read more

Somehow I scraped the bottom of the bumper. Matt was able to with touch up paint, basically make the scrapes disappear for free! Great service, very honest, highly recommend! read more

This is the second time in one year that my family has brought our cars in for body work and I cannot day enough positive things!! The work was immaculate, the staff is super nice and helpful, it has a very homey feeling about the office and the friendliness of the employees have made me feel completely comfortable bringing in our cars for work. After an accident it is always a super stressful time and it is refreshing to know there is an auto body shop I can trust and that has helped me feel at ease. Highly highly recommended!! (And worth the drive even if it's not the closest shop) read more

I brought my car in for some minor body repairs based on a suggestion from a family member who'd gone here in the past - and boy, am I glad I did! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tom & Jerry's! Everyone I encountered was helpful and friendly, the communication was great and the work is extremely well done. You would never be able to tell there's been a repair - my car looks good as new! I'm hoping that I won't require anymore repairs from them in the near future - but if I do find myself needing any auto body repairs, I know where I'll be going! read more

This was my first experience with Tom and Jerry's auto body. My best friend who owned a great body shop moved to a different state a couple of years ago and I was devastated when on my way to work, my car's bumper was damaged from a rear- end collision. I didn't know any good body shop that I could trust and I chose Tom and Jerry's based on the five star reviews on google reviews page, and let me tell you, I don't regret it! Everything that was being said about this shop is TRUE. These people really care about their customers and provide excellent service, outstanding communication, top quality work and fare price. When I came to pick up my car, it looked great and spotless. Besides the great job that they did on the bumper, they went the extra mile buffing some unrelated scratches on my car and cleaning the car's interior! Additionally, to my surprise I received a cute box of chocolate mint candies!)) I HIGHLY recommend this auto body shop! read more

The parts took a bit longer to come in and required a lot more work than was anticipated but the car looks better than new and the finish on the new parts is indistinguishable from the rest of the car. They then buffed and waxed the entire car and it looks new. I had it at a show a few weeks later and everyone was duly impressed. read more

I've had work done here twice - including just recently for some minor side swipe damage. Once under insurance and once self-pay. They are extremely knowledgeable, honest, wonderful customer service, timely, and great at communicating what you need and don't need. Auto body repair is obviously something you hope you don't need to deal with very often, but I will only patronize Tom & Jerry's for body work because I've had wonderful experiences here and never any concern that I wasn't being treated fairly. Thank you Tom & Jerry's team!!! read more
