Loved the ambiance of this place. Very nice and modern. Really enjoyed the music - old school R&B all night! The service was good and our server Terrell answered all of our questions. Now...the food! Redfish royale 5/10: my fish was overcooked and dry. And all the food was a different temp. Meaning the fish was but the corn and mash were a really lukewarm. The mash under the fish had no flavor and was a little bland. I also wasn't a fan of the corn either as it lacked flavor too. I had high hopes for this dish but was very disappointed. Hoping the cook was just having a bad night. Purple reign 9/10: good flavor and not too sweet, even with the sugar on the rim. The liquor ratio was good as well and I didn't even taste it. Wow oysters 10/10: flavorful and was served with garlic bread which was unexpected but nice. Red beans and rice 8/10: very small portion for the price and was lukewarm. Good flavor and seasoned well though. Margarita 10/10: good balance of the alcohol and sweetness.

Came in a for a friend's birthday. The service was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I got the mojo turkey leg stuffed with seafood pasta. The pasta was good. Good flavor. The turkey leg was good as well but I felt it could have used a bit more seasoning. (Maybe they season it less because they stuff them with other things?) Overall everything was good and I would like to go back and try other things on the menu.

Mykia was our server and she was great! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees to share and everything was delicious! The oysters were small but really flavorful! The spinach dip was good too. We got the turkey leg with macaroni and it was very tender. The Caribbean style turkey necks were okay, the black beans were a bit overpowering though. I'd definitely come back

I tried this place for the first time. It was 4th of July so there was about an hour wait. After we sat down, there was a bit of confusion with the waitstaff and some back and forth about who was serving us as everyone was apparently scheduled to get off. Shout out to Demi. She stayed past her shift to serve us and close us out. I ordered the Garlic Parm Turkey Wings and Mashed Potatoes. It came very quickly and was hot. The wings were seasoned good on the outside, crispy, and were a nice size for the price. The mashed potatoes tasted like they had sour cream in them, which is a plus for me. I would have liked some additional garlic parm for dipping. Lol. The restaurant is nice. The outside area would be torture in the summer but, they do have fans going. I don't like Turkey Legs but I did try the pasta. It was good. I'll return next time to try the gumbo when its cooler.

I went to New Orleans for Memorial weekend and we reserved this place as a first time visit. It's located in the warehouse district close to the World War II museum. I was very impressed from the time I walked in the door until we were seated and the service was impeccable. They have a variety of dishes on the menu. One of their main dishes was the stuffed turkey leg, which was very, very good. We also ordered several other dishes. Everyone said their food tasted really great. Also, the drinks were very good. They were potent and I really enjoyed the experience there. It will be a place that I would visit again in the future when I'm in town.

SERVICE-FOOD-AMBIANCE... ITS GOT ALL 3!! I love this restaurant! I was actually there for one of their opening nights when they first launched, and this celebration was my second time visiting. Since then, I've been back a total of three or four times because it's just that good! The atmosphere here is completely unmatched--they play upbeat, nice, but classy music that creates a wonderful ambiance. It is the perfect, trendy vibe for a fun night out with girlfriends or a memorable date night. We came out this time with a large group to celebrate Coco's birthday (my friend Joy's friend), and the impeccable service blew us away. Every single server and waiter was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and fast from start to finish. For drinks, I ordered the Wow Side cocktail, mixed with Dusse cognac, blackberry, vodka, and lemon with a sweet sugared rim. It was absolutely fantastic! When the entrees hit the table, everyone's jaw dropped. One of the ladies ordered The Mac Stuffed Turkey Leg, which was massive, fall-off-the-bone tender, and piled high with their delicious baked mac and cheese. Another ordered the Mojo Stuffed Turkey Leg, stuffed to the brim with incredibly flavorful seafood pasta--such a cool and unique New Orleans twist! I went with the classic burger and fries and made sure to add bacon. It was exceptionally juicy, perfectly seasoned, and downright amazing. The portions here are huge, the presentation is a 10/10, and the overall experience is top-tier. Wow Turkey is easily one of my favorite spots in the city!

Where do I start.... This was our last night in N.O., a tour guide recommended WOW Turkey so we said hey let's go. Let me tell yall, That maybe that was the best meal I've ever eaten. Yeah, it might could be. The mojo turkey was bananas, amazing, fantastic. How many adjectives can I use? Chefs kiss!! My wife had the red beans & rice platter w the catfish on top also VERY good. Zero room for dessert. The drink menu was top notch. For my bourbon drinkers, they have big ice spheres so you know. Will I be back? Absolutely.

This lovely restaurant has a charming ambiance that's truly inviting. While I was a bit disappointed that they don't offer online or phone orders, I appreciated how quickly the service was. I especially enjoyed the Mojo Stuff turkey leg; it was a perfect 9 out of 10! I'm definitely looking forward to visiting with my family again soon.

Wow Turkey is a Black owned restaurant. They were playing 90s R&B (the good ole days). The restaurant is beautiful inside. There is an event space for parties attached to the restaurant. I went on a lunch date with my man. Our waitress was Demi. We ordered the spinach dip and a small wow salad to start. We ordered the mudbug stuffed turkey leg and the mojo stuffed turkey leg. They turkey legs were so tender. The food was good; portions are large. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend it for a date night with bae. Reservations are recommended, especially when there is an event in town.

Let me be the first to say this is a beautiful establishment! Hands down to the owner! The decor, lighting, doorman, seating, and all is absolutely stunning! I must admit the place was busier than I anticipated so if I were you I'd make reservations! My mouth was set on the Caribbean Turkey Necks but they ran out as we were waiting so I had the macaroni stuffed turkey leg. It was good but the food was cold. My husband had the red beans and fish and loved it. The cabbage was good. The spinach dip was mediocre. I like the fact that they walked through the restaurant checking on the guests. The bartender didn't know how to make a mocktail ‍! Will I go back, ABSOLUTELY!

I had the opportunity of having lunch here today with my friend after seeing them on TikTok. It's very cute in there! I love how it's decorated and the pops of color. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Our waiter Jonathan was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations on what we should try. We had the Shrimp Platter and the Mojo Turk. The shrimp were fried and seasoned perfectly. I loved the shoe string fries that came with it. My friend had the mojo Turk which is a turkey leg with shrimp pasta on top. It was huge! I had a little piece and was delicious. My friend loved the sauce that came on it as well. Overall I loved it here and will definitely be back! They've only been open for a week but I'm excited to see if they'll add a happy hour. It's the perfect place to get dressed up, sit at the bar and people watch. Also, the bathroom is beautiful!

    BBQ Turkey Brunt End Sliders
    Tyachell B.

We stopped by to try the Coolinary Lunch Menu. The sliders were delicious and the sauce had a nice kick to it. I was not a fan of the deviled egg trio. I personally thought it was too much mustard. The turkey bowl was delicious and I'm looking forward to returning to try the actual stuffed turkey leg. Lastly the drinks were bomb and I'll be adding Wow Turkey to my happy hour list. Oh and can't forget the old school music vibe! I enjoyed it.

Voodoo Chicken & Daiquiris - New Orleans…read more With so much legendary fried chicken in New Orleans, this place has no business being as good as it is--but it absolutely holds its own. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and packed with crunch. The breading had great texture and stayed crisp all the way through. It's not trying to reinvent fried chicken; it just executes it well. One thing to know before you go: unlike many chicken spots, you can't order individual pieces. The menu starts with a 2-piece meal for $14.99, which includes fries and a biscuit. Not exactly a bargain, but portions are fair for the French Quarter where everything comes with a tourist tax. The atmosphere is loud, colorful, and over-the-top New Orleans. Neon lights, daiquiri machines, and a cotton-candy-cloud ceiling make it impossible to miss. This review is strictly about the chicken. I'm not a fan of the super-sugary daiquiris, so I can't speak much to the drinks. But if you're wandering the French Quarter craving fried chicken, Voodoo deserves consideration even among the city's stiff competition. Worth ordering: Crispy fried chicken meal Skip if: You're looking for cheap eats or just want a single piece of chicken. Overall: Solid fried chicken with excellent crunch in a fun French Quarter setting.

Willie's Chicken Shack - New Orleans…read more If you've walked through the French Quarter, you've seen Willie's. It's everywhere. The formula is simple: fried chicken, frozen daiquiris, neon lights, and hungry tourists. Like Voodoo, you can't order individual pieces of chicken. Meals start at $13.99 for a 2-piece dark meat combo or $14.99 for a 2-piece white meat combo, both served with fries and a biscuit. The chicken arrived fresh, hot, and crispy. The crunch was definitely there, and everything tasted like it had just come out of the fryer. The problem wasn't texture--it was flavor. The seasoning felt pretty light, leaving the chicken tasting a little plain compared to some of the better fried chicken options around town. The biggest comparison is against Voodoo Chicken & Daiquiris. Both have nearly identical menus and concepts, but Voodoo gets the edge for me. Their cross-cut fries are better, the atmosphere is more unique, and the chicken had a little more flavor overall. That doesn't mean Willie's is bad. If you're exploring the Quarter and need a quick fried chicken fix, it'll absolutely get the job done. It just didn't stand out in a city loaded with incredible fried chicken. As for the daiquiris, I didn't try them. Frozen sugary cocktails aren't really my thing, so this review is strictly about the food. Worth ordering: 2-piece chicken meal if you're hungry and nearby. Best part: Fresh, hot chicken with a solid crunch. Needs improvement: More seasoning and flavor in the breading. Compared to Voodoo: Slightly behind in both food and atmosphere. Overall: A decent French Quarter fried chicken stop, but not one I'd go out of my way to revisit when there are stronger options nearby.

They have like five or six heat options, and I'm someone who loves spicy chicken, so I asked for extra hot. The cashier told me I had to sign a waiver for the extra hot, and I was like, okay hold on... maybe I don't want that. lol I ordered the three chicken tenders and fries combo, and the cashier told me I could choose a different heat level for each tender, which was very cool and convenient, so I got two medium and one hot. I think that was the right choice because hot is pretty hot--its labeled as cayenne heat level--so if you like spice, that level is enough. One thing I really didn't like was that the chicken was so dusty. The tenders are also fried soft, and I personally don't like chicken tenders that are fried soft like Raising Cane's--i know, unpopular opinion-- I like the skin to be a little crunchy. Well, it's not exactly as soft as Cane's, but it's also not as crispy as Bojangles (IYKYK). I think the chicken had some heat its own, but the extra heat is added after it's fried with this dry seasoning they toss it in or sprinkle on after it's fried. I feel like the heat should be in the chicken itself and not just added on top......but anyway, I'll probably be back again. The cashier was a very sweet young lady. Oh, and they have plenty of indoor seating and it didn't smell too much like fried food in there. And the bathroom was pretty decently clean when I came at like 11 something pm.
