Wow Turkey is a nice spot with a great atmosphere, excellent service, and beautiful presentation. Unfortunately, the food fell a little short for me. I had the fried turkey wings, mac and cheese, and fried okra, and everything needed more seasoning and flavor. My friends ordered the turkey wings and char-grilled oysters and had a similar experience. The food looked great, but we all felt it was lacking in flavor. The biggest disappointment was the price point. This is on the higher end, so when you're paying more for a meal, you expect the food to deliver on flavor. The presentation and atmosphere were definitely there, but the food didn't quite match the price. Overall, there's a lot of potential here. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice, and the presentation was beautiful. With more seasoning and flavor, I think the food could really live up to the price.
Wow Turkey is very aesthetically pleasing and I love that they have a nice, but not extreme, dress code. The lighting here is very nice , especially for photos. Service is pretty good, but they were really busy. We had to flag the waitress down for additional ordering and change when paying with cash. I really wanted to see what the hype was and ordered the Mojo Turkey Leg. We also had oysters as an appetizer and cocktails. The oysters were ok, but most of them were so small. The Wine About It is their take on a Sangria and it's really good. The cocktail is not overly sweet, and has a nice punch. The Mojo Turkey was flavorful, but very light with the flavor, along with the seafood pasta and the standalone seafood pasta dish. I'm sure that is due to being in a tourist area. It was very good, but the turkey itself could use some additional basting to keep it from being as dry. Overall, this was a great experience and I would both recommend and return.
The restaurant is very nice inside. We both got the Nola special which was red beans & rice, shrimp etouffee & gumbo & they all kind of looked the same so hard to tell what was what except the red beans & rice. It tasted good but like I said after a while it all tasted the same. The seafood Mac & cheese was really tasty. We had sangria which was amazing & we had a really nice server who was patient & answered all our questions. Next time I would try the turkey legs.
Wow Turkey is definitely a must try for their unique take on turkey legs, the atmosphere and vibes. We tried their take on Oyster Rockefeller, the turkey legs with the pasta and the one with the crawfish etouffee. I truly enjoyed everything except the turkey leg with the etouffee, simply because the spices didn't agree with my taste. It is beautifully decorated and the music keeps you jamming. Everyone provided great customer service and made sure you were satisfied and everything was to your liking. Reservations are highly suggested and arrive early to find a park, if you don't want to pay for parkng.

Very elegant and beautiful space - the outside is very cool also. The place was packed on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. A couple of us ordered a small Caesar salad to start, which I don't recommend. There was not much dressing/flavor, and the shredded cheese on it was the industrial type cheese, not real Parm/regg. We all got stuffed turkey legs, which were generous in portion size. I got the Mac and cheese one, and the Mac and cheese was solid. The turkey was flavorful and cooked well. One important thing to note- I didn't realize turkey legs had so many little bones in them. Use caution when eating! We were too full to try dessert. We were allowed to split our checks by who ordered what, which is rare, and that was nice.
Loved the ambiance of this place. Very nice and modern. Really enjoyed the music - old school R&B all night! The service was good and our server Terrell answered all of our questions. Now...the food! Redfish royale 5/10: my fish was overcooked and dry. And all the food was a different temp. Meaning the fish was but the corn and mash were a really lukewarm. The mash under the fish had no flavor and was a little bland. I also wasn't a fan of the corn either as it lacked flavor too. I had high hopes for this dish but was very disappointed. Hoping the cook was just having a bad night. Purple reign 9/10: good flavor and not too sweet, even with the sugar on the rim. The liquor ratio was good as well and I didn't even taste it. Wow oysters 10/10: flavorful and was served with garlic bread which was unexpected but nice. Red beans and rice 8/10: very small portion for the price and was lukewarm. Good flavor and seasoned well though. Margarita 10/10: good balance of the alcohol and sweetness.
The food at Wow Turkey is wowwwww, everything was so flavorful and tasty. The service was immaculate, our waitress was the best. The gumbo was amazing, the blackened catfish with cabbage and mashed potatoes was amazing. That stuffed turkey leg filled with rice, fried crawfish and much more goodness was amazing. We tried the dessert here also and that was tasty too. The ambiance is really appeasing also, the lighting is just right. The parking lot fits a few cars and street parking is also an option. We left wow turkey full and satisfied!
I enjoyed it truly, the wait time can be something else but the waitress was great and the food was on point. And even the Mexican cigar old fashioned, will never forget that one. U have to try the Turkey Leg! It was on point. 2 thumbs to this establishment. My guy Lance congrats on this one!! The place is amazing!!
Had the pleasure to stop by during K day weekend with my brother and the food was amazing. There was a bit of a confrontation witnessed by front desk clerk and a waiter/runner but the head manager took care of it promptly. We had drinks, spinach an artichoke dip and the turkey leg pasta. Seasone dto perfection and the dirty rice tasted like somebody grandma is in the back. 10/10 highly recommended
I tried this place for the first time. It was 4th of July so there was about an hour wait. After we sat down, there was a bit of confusion with the waitstaff and some back and forth about who was serving us as everyone was apparently scheduled to get off. Shout out to Demi. She stayed past her shift to serve us and close us out. I ordered the Garlic Parm Turkey Wings and Mashed Potatoes. It came very quickly and was hot. The wings were seasoned good on the outside, crispy, and were a nice size for the price. The mashed potatoes tasted like they had sour cream in them, which is a plus for me. I would have liked some additional garlic parm for dipping. Lol. The restaurant is nice. The outside area would be torture in the summer but, they do have fans going. I don't like Turkey Legs but I did try the pasta. It was good. I'll return next time to try the gumbo when its cooler.
I went to New Orleans for Memorial weekend and we reserved this place as a first time visit. It's located in the warehouse district close to the World War II museum. I was very impressed from the time I walked in the door until we were seated and the service was impeccable. They have a variety of dishes on the menu. One of their main dishes was the stuffed turkey leg, which was very, very good. We also ordered several other dishes. Everyone said their food tasted really great. Also, the drinks were very good. They were potent and I really enjoyed the experience there. It will be a place that I would visit again in the future when I'm in town.
Mykia was our server and she was great! We ordered a bunch of appetizers and entrees to share and everything was delicious! The oysters were small but really flavorful! The spinach dip was good too. We got the turkey leg with macaroni and it was very tender. The Caribbean style turkey necks were okay, the black beans were a bit overpowering though. I'd definitely come back

WOW Turkey Never Disappoints! I've been to WOW Turkey probably six or seven times since they opened, and I've never been disappointed. It's a Black-owned restaurant that I'm always happy to support. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently on point! My husband and I split the Mojo Stuffed Turkey Leg, which is HUGE and stuffed with seafood pasta, and the newer Catfish Tchoupitoulas with fried catfish, crawfish étouffée, and white rice. Both were delicious! The turkey was so tender and flavorful that it was literally falling off the bone--I didn't even need a knife. And yes, we had leftovers! I also ordered the Purple Rain cocktail with Tito's, lavender, and lemon. Not only is it beautiful with its purple flower garnish and delicious sugar rim, but it tastes just as good as it looks. Definitely a favorite! Since it was Friday, there was also live music, and the violinist was AMAZING! He played everything from love songs to trap music, and I couldn't help but sing along. My husband eventually had to tell me, "Will you eat and stop singing?" That's how good he was! Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and great vibes. If you haven't been to WOW Turkey yet, definitely put it on your list! read more

This lovely restaurant has a charming ambiance that's truly inviting. While I was a bit disappointed that they don't offer online or phone orders, I appreciated how quickly the service was. I especially enjoyed the Mojo Stuff turkey leg; it was a perfect 9 out of 10! I'm definitely looking forward to visiting with my family again soon. read more

I had the opportunity of having lunch here today with my friend after seeing them on TikTok. It's very cute in there! I love how it's decorated and the pops of color. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Our waiter Jonathan was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations on what we should try. We had the Shrimp Platter and the Mojo Turk. The shrimp were fried and seasoned perfectly. I loved the shoe string fries that came with it. My friend had the mojo Turk which is a turkey leg with shrimp pasta on top. It was huge! I had a little piece and was delicious. My friend loved the sauce that came on it as well. Overall I loved it here and will definitely be back! They've only been open for a week but I'm excited to see if they'll add a happy hour. It's the perfect place to get dressed up, sit at the bar and people watch. Also, the bathroom is beautiful! read more
Where do I start.... This was our last night in N.O., a tour guide recommended WOW Turkey so we said hey let's go. Let me tell yall, That maybe that was the best meal I've ever eaten. Yeah, it might could be. The mojo turkey was bananas, amazing, fantastic. How many adjectives can I use? Chefs kiss!! My wife had the red beans & rice platter w the catfish on top also VERY good. Zero room for dessert. The drink menu was top notch. For my bourbon drinkers, they have big ice spheres so you know. Will I be back? Absolutely. read more
Wow Turkey is a Black owned restaurant. They were playing 90s R&B (the good ole days). The restaurant is beautiful inside. There is an event space for parties attached to the restaurant. I went on a lunch date with my man. Our waitress was Demi. We ordered the spinach dip and a small wow salad to start. We ordered the mudbug stuffed turkey leg and the mojo stuffed turkey leg. They turkey legs were so tender. The food was good; portions are large. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend it for a date night with bae. Reservations are recommended, especially when there is an event in town. read more
Let me be the first to say this is a beautiful establishment! Hands down to the owner! The decor, lighting, doorman, seating, and all is absolutely stunning! I must admit the place was busier than I anticipated so if I were you I'd make reservations! My mouth was set on the Caribbean Turkey Necks but they ran out as we were waiting so I had the macaroni stuffed turkey leg. It was good but the food was cold. My husband had the red beans and fish and loved it. The cabbage was good. The spinach dip was mediocre. I like the fact that they walked through the restaurant checking on the guests. Came in a for a friend's birthday. The service was great. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I got the mojo turkey leg stuffed with seafood pasta. The pasta was good. Good flavor. The turkey leg was good as well but I felt it could have used a bit more seasoning. (Maybe they season it less because they stuff them with other things?) Overall everything was good and I would like to go back and try other things on the menu. read more

Tried out WOW Turkey for a birthday dinner and my experience was a bit mixed. Before arriving we reserved two tables of 8 some arrived a few minutes earlier than the rest of our table but were told once a full 8 arrived they could be seated which was normal so when the rest of the 8 for the first table arrived we were told that our table was already checked in and sat and that we had to wait for our second table. When we went to sit in the waiting area our first guests were still waiting, when we brought this up to be seated the front house manager (Davina) was very unpleasant and rushed us to our table and when we asked where our second table was sitting she stated they won't be anywhere near us because of booking two reservations. When we looked around we noticed ample space of where they could've sat but we went on to enjoy our night. When the second table arrived (to include the birthday girl) they stopped by our table to speak and the front manager came to our table again to make it a point to tell us we can't sit together. We let her know we were aware and we were just speaking to each other before they sat. She then told us again we can't sit together and stood there to usher them away from us. She told the birthday girl (wearing a dress with cleavage) that her outfit isn't appropriate for a modest family restaurant and then we sat next to other patrons with mesh outfits. When our friend from a different table came to ask us about our food she showed up again to move him to his table. She was literally the worst part of our time here and management should do better at training staff when servicing people. Now the saving grace, the food was really good and definitely put a better taste in our mouth than she originally left us with. I would add the turkey was really tender (perfectly tender) the bones were starting to split but it didn't get in the way of us enjoying our meal. The drinks were delicious and the names were cute and our table server Ari was amazing. She knew the menu in and out helped us with recommendations and checked on us regularly. Made a reservation for Mother's Day to try this place out. It was super busy which I love to see. The restaurant itself is so beautiful. Definitely some picture worthy spots. There was a limited menu for Mother's Day. The Florentine chargrilled oysters were delicious. The Mojo turkey leg with seafood pasta was really good. The turkey leg was super tender and falling off the bone. The service was nice. I will definitely be back to try the full menu. read more

Wow Turkey is a must try! It seems fairly new but this restaurant is here to stay. This place has such a beautiful interior and even has a patio. Ambiance is a 10/10. Perfect for date night or girls night. The staff here are so kind and are very knowledgeable about the menu. We got some great recommendations from our server. We stopped by to try the Coolinary Lunch Menu. The sliders were delicious and the sauce had a nice kick to it. I was not a fan of the deviled egg trio. I personally thought it was too much mustard. The turkey bowl was delicious and I'm looking forward to returning to try the actual stuffed turkey leg. Lastly the drinks were bomb and I'll be adding Wow Turkey to my happy hour list. Oh and can't forget the old school music vibe! I enjoyed it. read more

Overall, I had a good experience at Wow Turkey and would definitely come back. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everyone left full. We ordered the Mojo Stuffed Turkey Leg, Carnival Pasta, Mud Bug Turkey Leg, and the Spinach Dip. Everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and served in large portions that were worth the price. My only feedback on the food is the Mud Bug Turkey Leg. The turkey leg itself was excellent, but I felt like there was much more étouffée gravy than actual crawfish and rice. I would have loved a more balanced portion with more crawfish and rice to go along with the turkey leg. The biggest area for improvement is the service. We had a reservation set, but weren't seated until about an hour later, which was disappointing considering we had reserved a table ahead of time. Once we were seated, not everyone's drinks arrived, and we had to remind our waiter. Most of the food came out together, but one person's meal was significantly delayed, leaving them waiting while the rest of the table had already started eating. Despite the service issues, the quality of the food made up for a lot. If the restaurant can improve reservation management and provide more consistent service--and serve a little more crawfish and rice with the Mud Bug Turkey Leg--it would easily be a 5-star experience. For the food alone, I'd absolutely recommend giving Wow Turkey a try. read more

Great restaurant! I loved the atmosphere and I felt very comfortable. The food was amazing. I had the spinach dip, rockefeller oysters, truffle fries, and buffalo chicken sandwich. Everything was a 10/10. Our server was amazing and he gave us the backstory of the business and I loved it. Ask for terrell as your server he was amazing. read more
