    Greek omelette

This is a great place! We wanted to go someplace for breakfast and this was just a short walk from the Hyatt Regency, where we were staying. We were not disappointed. I had the Greek omelette and hubby had a fish po-boy and gumbo. They were both delish and it was very affordable. Our server couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. I'm guessing this might be a local hang. The atmosphere was totally New Orleans and we sincerely enjoyed it.

We were looking for a breakfast spot from our hotel and was recommended this place boy I'm glad we showed up early because it got really crowded. Of course we had to ordered fried chicken and waffles enough to share between two of us. They have a full bar great service.

The food was delicious. We ordered the Chicken and waffles, the New Orleans sampler , grits and the shrimp po' boy. The server Helene was friendly, gracious and polite.

Great option for late night food. The inside was freezing but our waiter was attentive . It's in a good location to walk to/from other places as well. *We got the chocolate cake in addition to what is pictured but when it came out it looked really unappetizing so I sent it back.

I was craving Country Fried Steak and Yelp guided us here. Walked in and were sat right away. The staff is very friendly and everyone greeted us. It's casual and the decor is very artsy. Really, you can buy some of the local artists artwork on the walls. We were given drinks and ordered: country fried steak and eggs and my husband ordered the Cajun omelette. Both were very good! They gave me a steak knife, but the meat was so tender I just used my fork. Eggs cooked perfectly over easy. I wanted to try the pancakes but I was so full that I'll save it for next time. I'd definitely come back.

Chicken and Waffles were fresh and delicious: very generous portions of chicken too. Pancakes were a hit as well. The iced tea had a funky flavor.

A great stop lunch after we went to the Titanic immersive experience. The food was good with lots of flavor the chicken was hot and juicy. I had chicken sandwich which is bun and lettuce with 2 chicken tender just the right size. Good flavor and just enough food for me. My wife got 2 piece chicken meal with fries (she always ask for crispy it is her preference) as the side. She also ordered the Crawfish Bloody Mary spicy. This basically is a mini snack with pickled Okra, olives and a complete crawfish. The Bloody Mary is reason enough to stop in. Great service food came out in about 10 minutes but they say on the menu that fresh food take a little bit and fried chicken could take up to 20 minutes. It is made to order is my guess. The ambiance and decor was cool. The music was a bit loud and more ROCK than New Orleans type music. I recommend Daisy Mae's We had a good meal. For a fair price.

The food was really good but my server was very impatient, she didn't seem very happy in general and overwhelmed. I only ordered the chicken and waffles with water because I don't drink alcohol. When she dropped off my plate she didn't ask if needed anything she just ran away. I had to ask another server for another plate because i only eat half of my food because I portion my food. My ticket was $19.94 and I left a $20 bill. I used to serve tables a long time ago and I know how to treat people despite color with proper customer service skills. In today's times servers are very lazy. If you simply ask me how is everything and if I need anything maybe once or twice I can see you actually know how to do your job and aren't expecting a tip. If no one tips the servers they make no money. So good luck with the $0.06 I left you. The girl didn't tell me her name but I heard her say it to her other tables Julian or Julie. I am her on vacation for Jazzfest. I am enjoying myself which means if I go out to eat I am more than capable of tipping but obviously Julie or Julian thinks I am not able. Fix your mindset ma'am.

I thought the food was great. Im surprised the yelp rating was as low as it was. Maybe theres better places? Cause I know theres tons of places to eat. But me traveling from California, I enjoyed it!

Meh at best. Service was slow, server seemed to wish to be anywhere else, my husband got the wrong order, and the food was room temp, making it seem like it was waiting in the kitchen for a long time.

This was a small location with a bar that served traditional Southern dishes. The service was nice, and the food came out in a timely manner. I went with the chicken tenders and waffle ($16.25?). There were three huge chicken tenders to an order. These were extremely crispy and fried nicely. There was plenty of flavor on the skin while the chicken was tender and juicy. It was some of the best fried chicken tenders I had in awhile. The waffle was light and fluffy. They had just the right amount of sweetness present. The maple syrup that was provided just enhanced everything on the plate. Will I go back? I would, yes.

was starving when we landed and wanted some southern foood; ordered chicken waffle and was seasoned/salted well. the burger's chicken wasn't as strong but very tender. potato salad was standard. po boy, beans, and onion rings were cool too! it was empty around 4pm -- great service

The restaurant was packed, and the staff was moving nonstop--but what really stood out was how smoothly everything was handled despite how busy it was. The food? Easily a 10/10. The chicken had that perfect balance--crispy and slightly spicy on the outside, yet unbelievably juicy and tender on the inside. You can tell real care goes into it. The greens were cooked just right with a subtle hint of spice that gave them great flavor, and the slaw had a light sweetness that complemented everything perfectly. Service was just as impressive. My server, Tashena, was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing without missing a beat, even in the rush. You could tell she genuinely cared about the experience. I also have to shout out the manager, Whitney. She was incredibly uplifting, constantly cheering on her team and keeping the energy positive and motivated. That kind of leadership really shows in the overall experience. Between the food, the service, and the atmosphere, I can confidently say this is a 1000/10 recommend. I'll definitely be back

The landscaping is carefully homegrown with beautiful greenery and pretty flowering shrubs to greet you upon arrival. There's also a stage where you can enjoy live music. Once inside, you're greeted by welcoming staff who are proud of what they serve. The interior is modest, with nice rustic carpentry. Bourrée is to Boucherie as Cochon Butcher is to Cochon. It's a wing and daiquiri spot, but the wings are natural (read: smaller than the hormonal wings we're used to) and the daiquiris are dry, just the way I like them. Mr. Tea is my favorite of their daiquiris because sugar isn't the first thing I taste, instead I'm actually getting that antioxidental brewed tea flavor. Never thought I'd want that from a daiquiri, but as it turns out, I do. Their fries are some of my favorite in the city: shoestringy with crispy ends, the skin still on, salty, and plentiful. We also love their version of fried Brussels sprouts which taste of maple-citrus with bites of Tasso mixed in for good measure. My only gripe was with the jerk wings which didn't taste of jerk, just spicy. And if I'm being honest, the wings aren't the best of what they offer. They make everything in house with quality standards as high as Boucherie.
