I did cold compresses and got the soonest removal time at 1:30pm. All day I stayed with itchy eyes. When removing my eyelashes she didn't apply remover til clean up after removing the lashes alone. She promptly apologized but never asked to give me a refund, I came in 2 weeks before my wedding and now I'm stuck red and puffy eyed. I'm so upset about this situation.

TORTURE CHAMBER!…read more Technicians here were never very light handed and most of the time I couldn't take a lash nap while getting my refills but my experience during my last two week volume refill is what finally broke the camel's back. I went in at 5:30pm last Sunday. The refill was painful but what's new? When I opened my eyes I realized it was all uneven and looked shabby. I had an important business trip that week and said I can't just show up like that. They said the tech can fix it in 15-20 min so I agreed to let them fix it. BIG MISTAKE! Tech started working on removing the lashes and I've never experienced such pain in my eyes before. Not only the remover burned horribly but she kept yanking on my lashes so hard that at one point I screamed in pain and scared the tech. I didn't want to be there anymore I asked if I can get all the lashes removed and they said it would take at least an hour. I decided against that because at this point I was panicking and all I wanted was to get out of that chair as soon as possible with my eyes intact. Then they started applying new lashes. That was a whole different kind of pain. My EYELIDS started to burn. I know the glue fumes can burn your eyes and it's part of the process but at this point it was my eyelids that just felt like they were on fire. They irrigated the area and continued. Finally I was told I can open my eyes again. At this point I had been in that torture chair for 2.5 hours and had to pee. I went to the restroom and noticed that after all that pain and emotional distress my lashes were still uneven!!!! But seriously, who cares? All I wanted was to run out of there. I paid for the full $75 two week volume refill and left. The next morning I woke up and my eyes felt weird. So I went to the mirror and got terrified of the face staring back at me. Never have I ever had eyes this swollen and red before. To be honest, after that 2.5 hr torture I was still grateful that I at least still had my vision! I went to my business trip and had to explain to people the dumb mistakes I made regarding my lashes so they don't think I'm getting abused at home. I sent the pictures and requested a refund from the business, because who would want to spend their hard earned money to get tortured only to end up looking like this. Never heard back from them. Moral of the story is, NEVER EVER go to EmLash!!! They will physically harm you and take your money for it!

She also asked me if it was burning, and I said yes, and yet, kept going. I don't get my eyebrows waxed often, but felt a little stinging sensation and slight burning- which I assumed was normal (my eyebrow hairs are literally being pulled out), and at the time my skin looked a little red. Throughout the appointment, it felt like my natural lashes were being pulled out. She also placed several extensions directly on my skin, which caused irritation, dryness, and discomfort afterward. To make matters worse, I get a hybrid set specifically because my natural lashes are very fine, and I always request a combination of fans and individual lashes. Lucy only worked on my fill for about 30 minutes, and the final result did not reflect what I requested or what I normally receive. When I politely expressed my concerns, she was dismissive and rude instead of addressing the issues. Thankfully, Mary was able to fix the lashes afterward, and I truly appreciate her for making things right. I would absolutely recommend Mary, but I cannot recommend Lucy based on my experience. First a foremost, I feel bad writing this review since she was very sweet. But I just can't "get used" to these lashes. I asked for a natural lash and I got the opposite. The length of them are so long that they hit my eyebrows and are very irritating. They clump up on the ends and I'm constantly having to brush them out to lay right. I also feel like they're a little sparse and have empty spaces where there shouldn't be. If you like full glam lashes this place is for you! Unfortunately, this is not what I wanted. I did mention they were a little long for me, she said it will take some time to get used to them and when I come back she can remove a few long ones. I gave it a day to try an adjust- but when my husband requested I get them removed I knew it wasn't a good look. When I contacted her about getting them removed via a text she graciously and promptly picked up the phone and reached out to me directly; she offered to not just remove them but completely re-do them at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!!! That blew my mind - time is money! She was not just willing to remove them at no cost but also completely re apply them, just to make me happy (despite her providing what I asked for) the process is very time consuming. Nhi (Mia) gives me the exact look I ask for which is so important bc many techs go overboard since they're used to a certain look. I was also shocked the first time I got a fill, It's pretty standard for technicians to stick to a certain time-frame when doing your lashes so if they don't get to them all you just don't have a complete/full set. All the lash places I have ever been to have clients lay on the foldable beds with a pillow to prop up your legs. It causes my lower back to hurt.
